Fight the good fight of the faith. - 1 Timothy 6:12

Sooner or later, we all will face troubles. Stress, anxiety, depression. When it rains, it pours. The most annoying thing is that a day can start perfect, and all it takes is one phone call, text, e-mail, or conversation to obliterate that wonderful day. Because trouble is inevitable, we must be ready for an attack at any moment. Sadly, it is much more difficult to get strong after trouble comes, so that's why we prepare before hand. The first thing you should do is pray, "God, help me stay emotionally stable." Do not let your emotions get the better of you! These can destroy you - trust me, I know. Every time fear comes back up, pray again. Stay emotionally stable, trust God, and pray. Also, maintain all the commitments you have to God. Even when trials come, continue to obey Him. This is crucial in maintaining a stable relationship with God when adversity strikes. The harder you fight with God, the more Satan will flee. To be prepared for your next spiritual battle, practice saying, "I am going to be faithful to God, and God is going to give me double for my trouble. Satan, you thought you were going to hurt me, but I am going to get a double blessing, because I am one who diligently seeks the Lord." I know you can do this. Don't give up. -Katelyn
