Chapter 101

- Jane, wake up.
Someone was trying to wake me up. I could recognize Gareth's voice. He was kissing my neck and cheek.
- Let me sleep.
I complained.
- It's late and it's our last full day here you don't want to be sleeping.
I opened my eyes.
- Fine.
I said in an attempt to jump out of bed.
- Good morning then.
Gareth said kissing me.
- Gareth, I'm really not in the mood especially since you woke me up.
I said throwing a pillow to him.
- You are so energetic mrs. Smith. It's hard for someone to believe that you just woke up.

Wearing my swimsuit I headed to the living room. Gareth and I would go to the beach. Alone this time.
- Where are your parents, Victoria, your....grandma ?
- They've got to do something. Actually they are helping my uncle with the house. They are leaving tomorrow as well.

- They live in Germany. The girls study there.
He explained.

I spend the whole day laying under the sun. I couldn't do much today. I was tired. Gareth and I spend a lot of hours on the beach. Some fans recognized him and I had to wait till he was done with the autographs and the selfies.
We headed back home late in the afternoon. His entire family was there.

Debbie asked kissing my cheeks.
- Yes. I want to thank you for the paintbrushes and the easel.
I said smiling politely at her.

She said hugging me.
- Cristian wants to go for dinner with us.
Frank informed us and I rolled my eyes. I didn't want to spend our last night here with Gail. But it was their last night here too so I guess I had to.
- Okay will be ready as soon as possible.
Debbie said and I exchanged a look with Gareth.

- Yes, we're coming tomorrow. I missed you Ellen.
I said while chatting with Ellen via Skype.

She said and she smiled at me.

I replied and it was the truth.
I had just showered and I was with a towel all over my body.
- I can't wait to see you tomorrow.
Ellen said and I grimaced.
- We're leaving at night. You'll be sleeping by the time I arrive.
- There's always the next day.
Ellen replied smiling.

- Gareth has his birthday on Saturday. I want to do a surprise party for him.

She said and before I could respond to her my telephone rang.
- Sorry Ellen. I've got to hang up. Someone's calling and it's most probably my parents.
- Okay see you.
Ellen said sending me a kiss.
- See you.
I replied.
I checked my phone. Not my parents. It was Sergio that was calling.
Well, I should answer. Maybe it's important. I made sure that I was alone in my room and I answered to Sergio's call.

Then a silence came between us.
- Is everything alright ?

- Jane, um okay there's no point. Listen Mia, Aaron's girlfriend came here in Spain.

- She said she wanted to talk to me and she told me that she met you during the Euro in France.
Sergio said and he paused.

He said and for some reason he didn't seem to hang up.
