Chapter 34

"You were?" I asked.

"Yes tiger. Yours was probably by Dad. Right?" Jake asked and I nodded.

"It doesn't matter Jake. Just stop." I said.

"It matters." Jake snapped.

"I'm fine. I need to get to class." I snapped back at him but he tugged on my arm.

"What?" I snapped.

"You are such a hard ass. Why can't you just accept the fact that you need help?" Jake snapped.

"Because I don't know how to ask Jake! I don't know how to fucking ask for help. I'm alone! I only got Aubrey and my world revolves around her! I don't know how to ask for help." I said my voice lowering.

"I can help you. I promise." Jake said and I looked at him.

"I really like you and if I had to help you I would." Jake promised.

"Look I'm fine. Go do something." I said rolling my eyes.

"You need me here." Jake said. He pecked my forehead.

"I don't need anyone here Jake." I snapped at him.

"You're such a hard ass it's annoying Audrey. Come on." Jake said grabbing my hand.

"Where the hell are you taking me?" I asked.

"To have fun. Get in the car." Jake said.

"I'm not fucking going off campus. And if I am then I have to check on Aubrey first. It's been over an hour." I said.

I took out my phone but Jake slapped it out of my hand and crashed his lips on mine before I could say anything.

"Jake what're-"

He pressed his lips harder on mine but gently so I couldn't talk.

"It's all about you for right now tiger." Jake whispered. He picked me up bridal style and put me in the car.

"I'm keeping this." Jake said taking my phone.

"Jake that's not fucking funny I need to call my little girl." I snapped at him.

"Relax. We're getting some ice cream." Jake said.

"Ice cream?" I asked him.

"Tiger you don't know what it is?" Jake asked.

"Um... I do but... it'll be my first time." I said quietly.

"Tiger it'll taste really good." Jake promised.

"Jake. Aubrey-"

"Your sister is fine for fucks sake. I hear so much about her. Aubrey this. Aubrey that." Jake said.

"She's my little girl." I snapped at him.

"Your little girl is fine. Now let's go have some fun." Jake said grabbing my hand. He kissed it and I smiled a bit.

"I see that smile." He said and I started giggling.

"We're here." Jake said. He went around and opened the door and picked me up.

"Jake put me down you idiot." I snapped.

He kissed my nose. I squirmed a bit because it felt weird but good making Jake chuckle.

"Can I get a vanilla ice cream 1 scoop? And a chocolate chip 2 scoops?" Jake asked.

"Yeah." The girl said batting her eye lashes.

"Stop doing that. You're making me have a seizure and my bae is right here so chill with flirting and shit." Jake snapped.

The girl glared at me.

"What eyes will you have to glare at me if you do it again bitch?" I snapped at her. Her eyes flashed with fear but she quickly took the order.

"You ok tiger?" Jake asked slightly amused.

"Shut up jerk." I said trying to glare at him. But it turned into a smile.

"Aww you can't stay mad at Jakey." Jake said smiling. I rolled my eyes.

I took a bite of my ice cream. Good.

"It's good." I said smiling.

"I knew you'd like it tiger." Jake said smiling at me.
