Chapter 6

Jayden picks me up again to go to school.

"Do you want to get ice cream after school?" Jayden asked.

"Uh yeah thanks." I said smiling.

"No problem baby girl." Jayden said smiling. He kissed my cheek making me blush a deep red.

Damn this fucking boy. How the hell can I like a boy after 16 years of no boys?! He's a miracle worker. Please tell me I didn't say that out loud.

When he didn't say anything I took that as my signal that I didn't say that out loud and I took a deep breath.

Oh my gosh he grabbed my hand and smiled at me. Ok I'm not the best with boys so don't laugh at me.

Jayden stated laughing.

"What?" I asked.

"You should've seen your face when I grabbed your hand." Jayden said laughing.

"I don't do boys for the record and you're making physical contact which is making me look confused." I defended.

"Ok baby girl." Jayden said still laughing.

"I hate you." I said.

"No you like me." Jayden said cockily.

"Cocky." I said.

"Cute." Jayden said making me blush.

"Curse you." I said.

Jayden just laughed again.

After school Jayden and I got ice cream like he offered.

"You got a little on your nose." Jayden said smiling.

"Oh." I said smiling.

I tried to wipe it off.

"Well now you do." Jayden said laughing.

"I hate you." I said as I grabbed a napkin and wiped it off of my face.

"I like you." Jayden said making me blush.

"Your gonna make me a tomato." I said.

"That's ok. You look cute tomato or not." Jayden said seriously. But then he quickly put his finger in my ice cream and put it in my hair.

"Jay!" I exclaimed.

"Jay?" Jayden asked.

I blushed.

"Oh s-sorry i-it slipped o-out." I stuttered.

"No I like it." Jayden said smiling.

"Well then. You're gonna pay for my hair." I said.

"Ok." Jayden said laughing.

I sighed and wiped the ice cream out of my hair.

I was finally finished with my ice cream so Jayden and I threw out the cups and left.

"I had fun with you." I said laughing.

"Me too." Jayden said.

He arrived at my house.

"Bye." I said smiling.

"Bye baby girl." Jayden said. He blew me a kiss making me laugh as I walked inside to an angry Dad.

"Hey Dad." I said nervously my eyes turning light purple.

"Why are you with that kid?" Dad asked.

"You said he was an ok kid." I said quietly.

"Yeah. That was until I found out he was the nephew of Jack Hems!" Dad yelled.

"Alex calm down." Mom said.

"He's sweet." I defended.

"Oh my gosh this isn't the time for you to fall in love." Dad said.

Have I fallen in love?

"He's not bad. I promise." I said.

"I don't trust that kid. You stay away from him." Dad said.

"You can't tell me to stay away from him!" I yelled.

"Don't yell at me." Dad gritted.

"He's a great guy!" I defended.

"Alexa Brooks if I see you near that kid you're in trouble." Dad said and walked upstairs.

"Well Dad I guess I'm already in trouble!" I yelled loud enough for him to hear.

"Alexa if you like him you like him ok?" Mom said kissing my forehead.

I nodded.

"Now I'm going to go talk to him and hopefully he doesn't kill me. But I love you kids if he kills me." Mom said chuckling.

I smiled.

Have I fallen in love though?
