Chapter 56

Alexa's Pov

"I need you in practice." Coach said.

"But my siblings got games coach." I said.

"We're playing against the Warriors again. You think there gonna hold back after two losses because you're a girl quarter back?" Coach asked.

"Look I know they won't hold back but my siblings got games." I tried to argue.

"Tell you what. We practice 5:00 am to 7:00 am sharp for the week. Whole team." I said.

"Ha you have to be up early." Audrey laughed.

"You're on this team too." Coach said.

"Who me? I thought I was a fill in for Elisha." Audrey said.

"Are you crazy? You just played like that and you think your a fill in. You're stuck on this team." Coach said.

"Ha." I said.

"Ok fine round up the team we got practice." Coach said.

We nodded and got the team rounded up the team.

"Practice. I'm tired." Audrey and I said.

"You better run he way you did Friday or I'll make you do twice as many laps girls." Coach said.

I sighed and wet the to the zero yard line to start.

We started running.

"Oh come on Brooks and James I don't care of your girls!" Coach yelled at us.

I'm tired. I saw Audrey was tired.

"Let's go you gonna let those boys pass you?!" Coach yelled.

I started running immediately faster and caught up to the boys and passed them along with Audrey.

"I swear you girls let me make a fool of myself to get you to run faster!" Coach yelled.

"Again!" Coach yelled.

The team glared at us.

"Alright we were tired and I still am." I said.

"Let's go let's go!" Coach yelled.

We got at the zero yard line.

"Go!" He yelled through the bull horn.

We stared running and my legs were about to give out.

"Brooks don't make me get my bat!" Coach yelled and I immediately sped up a bit and passed Chris.

"Drop and give me thirty!" Coach yelled.

"I can't do any more." I said.

"Get your ass up and do thirty or it'll turn into 60." Coach said.

I sighed and dropped. I work out this should be easy but I'm tired.

"Come on your not giving up on me Smith! You better think about Brooks if that helps you keep going!" Coach yelled.

I laughed. He knew we were dating but he didn't let it distract us.

"Hey Blue I'm about to tell you he same thing I told Smith!" Coach yelled.

Once I was done my arms gave out.

"Ok take five." Coach yelled and I grabbed water.

I drank half of it and pushed Jays head back and gave him water.

"Thanks baby girl." Jay said.

"You guys are slacking off! If we lose Friday I'm gonna be damned!" Coach yelled.
