4 days later

School was over and it was prom today.

"You ready?" Audrey asked.

"Yup. Ready for the dumbest experience in my life." I said and Audrey laughed.

We walked downstairs and Mom laughed.

"The exact same thing I did when Dad asked me to prom. Put on my tomboy like dress with a tomboy hat." Mom said.

"She played me." Dad said.

"Boy that was 19 years ago get your life together." Mom said and Dad just chuckled.

Jay and Jake soon came.

"You girls have fun." Mom said.

"Keep them safe." Dad said sternly.

"We will." Jay and Jake said.

We walked out the door.

"Cheaters." Jay said pouting.

"You guys wanted a dress." Audrey said before laughing with me.

"Yeah but-"

"A dress is a dress now let's get this stupid prom over with." I said.

We soon got there.

"Hey." One guy said.

"Hi." I said.

"Can we have a dance?" He asked shyly.

"Of course we can." I said smiling.

I grabbed his hand and he walked me on the dance floor for a slow dance.

We occasionally smiled talked and laughed during the dance. It was fun.

"Um hi." Jay said to the guy like what the hell are you doing with my girl?

Luckily the boy noticed the tension and left.

"Jay what's your problem?" I snapped.

"My problem is your dancing with other guys." Jay snapped. I rolled my eyes before attempting to walk away.

"Don't walk away from me." Jay said.

"Well your being annoying. It was a dance not a hickey." I said glaring at him.

"I saw the way you were giggling as he talked to you." Jay snapped.

"Whatever Jay. I'm not doing this tonight." I said.

Jay chuckled.

"You mean your not doing me tonight. Your doing another guy. And another guy and then maybe it'll be my turn again." Jay said smirking.

My jaw clenched.

"I don't love any other guy but you." I said.

Slap.

"Stop lying." Jay said.

"I'm not lying!" I snapped.

"Yeah ok." Jay said rolling his eyes.

Mock my love for you and then when I say I don't love you anymore I'm the bad guy.

I walked off and went outside.

I took out a book. I still brought a book.

I somehow got lost in it. It was a great book that I had tried out a few weeks ago.

"Hey." Jay.

I ignored him.

"Alexa if you ignore me you won't like it." Jay snapped.
