Chapter 18

Alexa's Pov

I was at school and I got smacked on the ass.

I turned around to see a guy in my grade.

My eyes turned light purple.

"Please don't do that." I pleaded.

"You scared of Jay?" He asked smirking.

"Hey leave her alone." I heard Jays voice.

"Oh so you two are back together but you threw her on cement." He said.

"I messed up. I regret it but you leave her alone." Jay said.

"You hurt her? She deserves better." He said.

"Look I made a mistake." Jay said.

"No you're a mistake." He said chuckling.

Jay ran off and I glared at him. He just shrugged and I ran off.

I was running after Jay until I fell on my ankle. Again. This ankle has cost me everything.

"Fuck." I said.

Jay came back for me.

"I told you not to run baby girl." Jay said as he kissed my forehead.

"Well you ran off. I'll be fine Jay." I said.

"I'm fine. Just go Alexa." Jay said.

"Jay-"

"Go now please." Jay said louder.

"I'm not leaving." I said stubbornly.

"Alexa you should really go now." Jay said.

"Well I should but I'm not." I said.

Jay sighed.

"Fine but will you skip with me?" Jay asked.

"No-"

He gave me puppy dog eyes and grabbed my hands. He got really close to my face.

"Please for me baby girl?" Jay whispered.

I gulped and nodded. When did he have that affect on me?

He smirked and snuck us out of school and to his car.

He looked at me then his eyes wandered to my lips. I chuckled at his behavior. So much for friends,I thought.

He eventually pushed me against his car and kissed me. Such close friends, I thought making me smile into the kiss.

"I can't be your friend anymore." We said at the same time making us smile.

"Well we don't have to be baby girl. I won't hurt you." Jay promised.

"Ok." I said smiling making him smile. He pecked my lips again quickly before he opened the car door and let me get in.
