"He's not a guest he's a pain in the ass." Alexis said.

"Truly sorry." Aaron said trying not to laugh.

"My gpa is a 4.8 because of you!" Alexis yelled. I couldn't take it. I started laughing and so did everyone else.

"Nerd." Aubrey said.

Alexis's Pov

Aaron smiled.

"I'm going back inside." I said.

"Alexis get back here." Dad said.

I sighed and walked back over but say away from Aaron who was now laughing. Actually looks kinda sexy laughing not gonna lie.

"So you ready for the game next Monday?" Coach asked.

"I'm tired." I said.

"You are just that one quarter back that can't just say your ready." Coach said chuckling.

"You asked. I'm tired. Let's go inside. Watch football lives." I said smiling.

"Whatever you want." Dad said.

We all got inside.

"Why don't you have a girlfriend Jason?" Gramma asked.

Jason laughed.

"I like a girl." Jason admitted.

"Grandson your sister Alexa doesn't count." Grandpa said and I laughed.

"No her name is-where's Kayla?" Jason asked.

"Went home." Dad said.

"I gotta go. Bye." Jason said.

Jason's Pov

I was running as fast as I could.

I got to her house and saw her Dad beating her. Again.

Why does she go home?

I grabbed him and punched him and he kicked me and punched me. I kicked him twice and punched him. I kicked him in his back again.

"Go home Jason." Kayla snapped.

"No I told you not to go home." I snapped back at her as I tended to her bruises again. She hissed in pain.

"I went home because he'd get mad." She said.

"It doesn't make a difference because either way he'd beat you." I said.

"Jason go before he wakes up." Kayla said.

"I'm not leaving. Stop fucking telling me to leave Kay." I said. I pecked her lips and picked her up.

"Put me down." Kay said hitting against my chest.

I ignored her and carried her home. Eventually she got comfortable and put her arms around me.

I'm in love with her.

"I need to get home Jason." She whispered to me.

"Kay your not going home. Don't go home again. I'm serious." I said.

Kay just nodded as I carried her home.

"I can walk." Kay said.

"Kay just stop trying to do everything
yourself. You need help and your getting it. I can't watch you come to school with bruises every day." I said.

Once we got home I carried Kayla inside.

"Are you Kayla?" Grandpa asked Kayla.

Kayla grabbed my hand and looked away.
