[K]itoyaka Ijichi stepped into the room, his arms laden with packages, likely errands he'd been assigned.

Your eyes momentarily fixed on the luxuriously wrapped box of macarons, and a frown creased your brows.

How did he even know where to find you?

But clarity dawned as soon as Kitoyaka spoke up, addressing the room with his customary respect.

"Gojo-san, Nanami-san, L/N-san," he greeted, earning nods of acknowledgment from both men. "I've brought your packages. Would you like to inspect them?"

Ah, so he wasn't running errands solely for you.

"Finally," Gojo exclaimed, eagerly extending his hand.

Ijichi promptly handed him a box of luxuriously wrapped Kikufuku. Next in line was Nanami, whose orders were simpler—books and expensive wines.

Turning to you, Ijichi appeared slightly flustered, his usual composed demeanor wavering in your presence. "L/N-san, you mentioned blueberry cream cheese filing macarons were your favorite?"

"Yes," you affirmed with a flat tone, barely acknowledging the subtle shift in Ijichi's composure as he handed you the package containing 20 macarons.

"I may not be a pastry connoisseur, but I hope they meet your expectations."

"Thank you, Kitoyaka-san," you replied politely, accepting the box from him.

"Just call me, Ijichi," he insisted.

Gojo and Nanami quickly caught on, noting Ijichi's uncharacteristic fluster in your presence.

Despite your seemingly average physique, it irked Gojo slightly to see other men fawning over you.

While you weren't necessarily his type in terms of looks, your personality intrigued him.

To Gojo, interacting with you was like being the popular kid in daycare, vying for the attention of his favorite teacher.

He wouldn't allow anyone else to monopolize your attention since he had been the first to set his sight on you.

As if reluctant to part from your presence, Kitoyaka Ijichi added, "And regarding the upgrade to your uniform, it's been completed. I'll have it ironed and sent to you this afternoon."

"Okay. Thanks," your response came off as nonchalant.

"Please let me know if you need anything else," Ijichi continued, his tone eager to please.

His blatant infatuation with you didn't escape the notice of Gojo Satoru, who couldn't comprehend why Ijichi was so taken with you.

"Ijichi, thanks, but we've got it covered," Gojo interjected smoothly, the hint of a snark underlying his words.

Caught off guard, Ijichi's embarrassment was evident as he stammered slightly, "O-Oh, I just wanted to ensure L/N-san's needs are well taken care of."

"Don't worry about it," Gojo reassured, a smug smirk playing on his lips. "I'm here to assist her, after all."

You sighed and rolled your eyes at Gojo's antics, silently questioning his motives.

Then turning to the flustered Kitoyaka, you offered a kind smirk that probably made you look like you were constipated, "Thank you, Ijichi-san. Your care is always appreciated. Don't mind him."

"Glad to be of help," Kitoyaka adjusted his glasses and shot you a gentle smile before nodding respectfully at both men and leaving.

Gojo Satoru couldn't help but wonder about the situation. Kitoyaka Ijichi probably thought you were within his league, hence his efforts to pursue you.

Leaning back in his seat, Gojo rested his left ankle on his right knee as he observed you unbox the macaron box.

You extended it towards Nanami, offering him some out of curtsy.

"No thanks," Nanami declined politely, while Gojo leaned forward, attempting to snag a treat from you.

You quickly pulled the box away, giving him an eye roll.

You weren't about to let his hands anywhere near your macarons, especially not after last night.

"You're not making it easy for him," Gojo remarked with a hint of amusement, pouting playfully.

You pushed the box further away, eyeing him warily. "What do you mean?"

"I'm talking about Ijichi. You're giving him hope," Gojo explained, leaning back with a smug grin.

"I highly doubt that," you retorted, focusing on finding a snack plate.

Meanwhile, Gojo's fingers inched towards your side of the table again, attempting another sneak attack.

"What do you think you're doing?" you shot him a stern look, moving the box out of reach.

"I'm just trying to get a taste," Gojo defended, looking like a mischievous child.

"About Kitoyaka-san, I have no clue what you're babbling about—"

"I concur," Nanami affirmed with a nod, rising from his seat to briefly circle his desk, likely stowing his package in a drawer.

Upon his return with a pristine snack plate, he set it down on the table.

You silently expressed your gratitude to Nanami, selecting five macarons to generously adorn the plate before sliding it towards Gojo Satoru.

"Hehe," Gojo chuckled, greedily devouring one macaron before deciding it was to his liking and moving on to the next.

"And I'm telling you he seems like he's got a crush on you," Gojo remarked nonchalantly between bites, crumbs clinging to his cheeks.

You couldn't help but notice his juvenile demeanor, contrasting with his formidable strength.

He better not try to snatch yours once he's done with his.

"Who? Kitoyaka-san?" you asked with a furrowed brow. "Nah. I'm pretty sure he despises me. He was adamantly against bringing me here, you know."

"I highly doubt that," Nanami remarked casually, pouring himself another cup of tea and offering you some as well.

"Too bad. I'm not actually looking for a date," you sighed, taking a bite of your macaron. Cream smeared your lips, drawing the attention of both men.

As Nanami reached for a napkin, you casually licked the cream away, savoring it with deliberate ease.

Both men tensed, even Gojo, who had paused mid-bite, swallowed hard.

Unknowingly, you were being inadvertently provocative, defenseless in a room where you were the lone woman surrounded by two men.

Nanami cleared his throat and looked away. When you noticed the napkin he offered, you took it and wiped your face.

"Anyway, why are we here?" You turned to Gojo for answers, noticing his sudden disinterest in his macaron.

It took him a moment to process your question before he responded with a smirk, "Just trying to get you acquainted with your other bodyguard."

"I thought you were the one tasked with protecting me."

"Aww, you like me that bad, huh? Y/N-chan?"Gojo teased, his charm oozing. "During class hours, Nanamin will be filling in for me, but the rest of the time, you'll have me glued to your side. Happy now?"

You sighed, offering a nonchalant "Suit yourself," before returning to your macarons.

Gojo watched you with keen interest, his trademark cocky smirk in place.

He fought back the intrusive urge to bite the cream off your lips, betting it would probably taste sweet.
