Twenty-Four:

'The bitterness, the pain, the anger and the emptiness filled me in and it suffocates me I hardly breathe. Am I going to lose her?'

That question I asked myself gives me no hope and my heart suddenly sunk down to the bottom of deep dark water. It drowns me and now it is killing me, I can't breathe, I couldn't speak a word about what is going on with me.

As I look through her eyes, I am so sure she finally decided and I cannot change her mind no matter what I say. Until I instantly felt a very, very cold hands that holds us and I already knew... it was those darkness and they are ready to consume not only her but also me.

I couldn't say a word because of the terror embracing me, I couldn't even feel if I'm going to wake up the next morning or maybe my family will find me breathless in my bed. The thought of it adds up my fear and it loses me until...

A shining bright light came to us and sway the darkness away and before I knew it, this shining bright light already embracing me. The warm and the strength that I felt from this someone filled me in that wake me up from this terrible nightmare. I am no longer drowning.

"You're fine now."

...

'That voice!'

I quickly look up to see the face of my savior.

"Almos!" i said almost into tear when I finally see his face for the first time again. 'Oh, I miss you so much.' I wanted to speak those words yet I couldn't and I even totally forgot where am I and without even thinking anything, I immediately hug him so tight as if he was about to go if I didn't do it. I just tightly hug him as I close my eyes to feel him more.

"Hey, Jeanne!" he speaks up and breaks my embrace. "Focus!" he added in a very serious tone.

"But..." fear comes back once again and he seems to notice it.

"You need to be strong, Jeanne!" he said. "So now, you have to go!" he said in a hurry.

"No! I've been waiting for you for a long time and now that I finally see you, you're just going to send me away?" I answered and ignore everything that surrounds us.

"Because you need to be safe or else..." he suddenly pauses that I anxiously wanted to know why.

"Or else what?!"

"This isn't the right time and place to tell you about it. Right now, you need to wake up because this deep darkness will devour not only her but also you since that you are the one that they wanted from the very beginning and she's only a bait to lure you out of your safety zone."

"What?!" I couldn't believe what I just heard from him, is he trying to scare me by lying? But then, why would Almos lie to me? 'No! He won't lie! He will never lie to me!'

"Now go and I'll help her to get out of here!" His words break my thoughts.

"No! I---"

"Stop it will you?" he said cutting me off. "And don't ask any questions! This is not the right time and we don't have much time. Now, go! I won't be able to move and save her if you are still here. Wake up now before you drown in this deep darkness! You shall wake up quickly not only to make you save but also to safe this trap soul out of this place." He clearly added and before I knew it, I already floating away from him.

Without knowing how I can escape this deep darkness, Almos already found the way out and with a sudden push, I floated in the air. The drowning that I almost felt finally fading and I can finally breathe normally.

Our hands that intertwined slowly releasing away from him while my vision begins to fade losing him out of my sight until darkness blocks my savior, my Guardian Angel before light came that blinded my eyes.

Morning

The light coming from the window blinded my eyes when I opened it. I left the curtain up last night causing the light from the sun entered my room and shine into my eyes making me to close my eyes again before opening them as I tried to face the sunlight.

A big yawn before I sit up and remember my dream last night "Almos..." Surprisingly I speak his name out loud.

"Who's Almos?"

"Paloma! What are you doing here?!" I nagged and shouted at her.

"Calm down! I already knock five times before I entered your room, so please don't get annoy."

"Alright! What do you want this time?"

"Nothing much."

'There she goes again!' I said as I rolled my eyes because I knew he wants something from me again. "Go straight to the point, Paloma."

She smiles at me. "Can I borrow your pink dress? Please."

I deeply sighed before I answer. "Alright, take it."

"Yes! Thank you big sister!" she happily answered that I just nodded and went back to my bed and blankly stare at the ceiling. "So, who is this Almos that you speak off?"

'Oh! Yes! Almos! I totally forgot him.' I quickly sit back and answered. "Get out now if you're already got what you came here for."

"Gosh! Lo estás manteniendo en secreto."

"Of course not!" I quickly answered. "Now go!"

"Alright! I'll go!"

...

'Almos! What happened to him? Can I go back to my dream? But... how?!'

I suddenly feel this urge to know how to use my power to go back in my dream world.

"I have to see him no matter what!" I finally decided.

I rampage my bedside cabinet to look for some medicine that can make me sleep however someone pulled my hand out.

"You!" I surprisingly said when I see who it is.
