Chapter 20 - god of the fleet

Back at the fleet many of the settlers were starting to prepare for landing. As many of them were quite eager for what was to come including that of their esteem fisherman who had come to love the vibrant colors of their new home. As just like the colorful trees in the distance the seas were quite otherworldly as well. As from the night many saw the translucent colorful world below them. 

Even within they were festive and the troubles of the past was starting to fade as they were preparing for what was to come. As such trade was one of the things that were starting to increase as due to the series of news coming from the marines that they were getting ready for what was to come. One of which was the increased the Tapuey and the lambanog trade coming in. While the supply was limited enough was transported that there was enough to keep everyone drunk. 

Another was the selling of various tools and even materials for the creation of their own homes. All in all many of the civilians were quite happy and eager for what was to come. "Tom get up." Spoke Lily who had come to settle down with her lover as she trying to wake up the resting man. "Just a minute.." He said which made Lily sigh as she leaned in and kissed his cheeks his preferred waking up spell. 

"I'm up." He said as he went on in to pull her in before giving him plenty of kisses in return. "You are hopeless." She said as she chuckled at his eagerness before she pulled him in and have him out of their bedding. "So we going?" He asked of her only for her to shake her head in return. "No just.." She said before pausing as she tried to come out for an excuse. "It seems like they are sending the pintados first." She spoke out knowing that they had run out of jobs as of late and it seems that many of the marines had come to ask for them. "So you are leaving?" He asked a bit sadden at the idea but, knew that if there was someone that is going to survive out there and that was her. 

"Be safe." He spoke out making her smile as she embraced him out of the bedding. "That means more work for you." She teased knowing that he would feel the pain of doing all of the things that she did with ease. "Thanks for that and I'll try to make a good home for us there." She responded as she was happy to know that he was up and eager for all of this and more. "Also I'll be." She said knowing that ironically with the marines there it was safer out in the mainland then it was here in the waters. 

"You on the other hand be safe." She spoke out knowing that they fought all manners of terror out in the waters. "Me I can fight well and I've survived in countless biomes so don't worry about me for now just try to survive until we see one another." She teased out as she was up and glad for this new opportunity. "Its all going to be alright." She said as she patted his head in return. "I'm a man I can protect you." He muttered feeling abit unsure at her eagerness to be the protector. "I know and we can protect one another." She said with glee before giving him a kiss and walking away afterwards. "I'll be waiting for you out there." She declared in return as she soon enough pulled him up and soon enough held him for a good and eager minute. Making him smile as he held her tightly as well as he felt right being with her. "It took many stars for us to meet." She said as she let go and soon enough run off. "See you Tom." She said as she rushed on off to get back to their fleet.

All the while leaving Tom to fish and wait for his turn to move towards the colonization site. Yet knowing that all would be well knowing that they have a place to rest up and settle in made him eager for more. As he grabbed his garbs and his spear from his work station as he was getting ready for the day. "Hello to you too Bubbles." He spoke out as he saw his buddy on the sides of the ship already looking at him likely ready for their daily work at that. "Yeah." He said abit saddened but eager for what was to come. "Lets go." He said in return as he rubbed his pet sides while he smiled and looked at him before mounting it as he went on downwards to hunt and get plenty of meals to come.
