America's pov
☆°•☆•°☆

"Isn't this fun?" China remarked, strolling down the halls, giving me a tour of the facility. There's a ward for different experiments. Mental patients, physical experiments, monitoring, training, emergency care, pediatrics, and... a ward for those who have disobeyed.

Each had their own colors. Mental was yellow. Physical was red- probably because the red paint can hide the blood better. Monitoring was white. Training was green. Emergency was gray. The ward, where they kept the ones that disobeyed, wasn't even painted. Just grey cement with a variety of stains and scratches throughout the halls. I was most likely the main cause of all of that damage.

I looked over at China. "Are you just going to brush over the fact that you reincarnated two souls?"
"I want you to stay calm, obviously introducing you to your previous lives is not calming." He shrugged.
I stopped in my tracks. "Why the hell did you do any of that?" I spat at the taller man.
He stopped walking and turned toward me.
"Because while trying to figure out how to put your soul back in your body, we decovered a few things linked to your essence: that being the colonies and the Confederacy, and something else, that we couldn't be concerned with. I thought it would be a fun experiment to see if we could tie spirits to artificial objects. It turns out we can, so we did." His professional composure broke as he cracked a grin. "In the hopes of bringing you back to life, I discovered the secret to eternal life." His eyes stared off in the distance before quickly bringing them back to me and giving a warm smile, as if he is a sane person.

"Anyways, darling, you have been such a pleasure. Would you-"
"Sir!" A young woman jogged up to us.
China glared daggers at the young lady. She must have felt their cuts because she didn't even dare to look at the psychopath right in his eyes.
"What could you possibly need to disrupt me during my leisure hours?" China hissed through his teeth.
"Well, there's an experiment that I want your permission to continue with. It may-"
China snapped at her, "I couldn't give less of a fuck right now, do whatever you want, just get out of my face."
Her eyes met his for a millisecond, she squeaked, nodded quickly, and scampered away.

The lean man relaxed his face from his furious expression, brushed off his shoulder and chest and took a deep breath, once again conducting himself in a workplace manner. He clasped his hands together. "You must be exhausted. Let me show you where you'll be staying."
I just let our an "uhh" before he started dragging me away.
There was a patch on the wall, just slightly off color, and once China put his hand on it, the patch lit up, and the wall peeled back to revel a set on large sliding doors. An elevator.
He guided me into the elevator and pushed one of the many buttons, and turned to me while the doors and walls closed and the wires pulled the elevator up.

"Thankfully, I went to the higher-ups and convinced them not to do anything else to you," he chirped as the elevator lurched up. My eyes widened.
"What?" I tentatively asked.
He hummed. "Yup. We did a few tests on your mate here, and it turns out he is the strongest alpha here, physically at least. You were, and possibly still, are the strongest omega here, stronger than the majority of the alphas. When you two produced a child, you completed your use. Therefore, you are off the hook. Your daughter is in the best hands right now, being trained in hand-to hand-combat," his voice was too even for me to feel grateful.

"Why did you try to kill my daughter? Why did you kill me?"

He shrugged, "I had an itch that needed scratching." He grinned like a wolf as my eyes widened at the psychopath. China let the nerving phrase hang in the air until the elevator let out a light ding and came to a stop. The doors opened to a crimson-red classical corridor, with golden dragons painted on the walls.

"Welcome to my level." He swept his arm, motioning me to get out of the elevator. We both exited the elevator and the doors, once again, shut. He took the lead, walking down the hall with confidence while I lagged behind him.
"This is where everything I control runs through. A lot of paper-work and progress reports," China's voice was dull, like he was boring himself. "There's only about seven people that work for me on this floor." He mentioned as we passed a room with a man reviewing documents.
"But they have their section," he paused as we came to the end of the long hallway filled with offices and meeting rooms. "And I have mine." With the same set up as the hidden elevator, the walls at the end of the hall split open, without a noise, and China slipped in, dragging me behind him as the walls quickly came together once again.

"This is where you will be living." my kidnapper claimed.

The interior looked like a Chinese palace. When first entering the "house" I was greeted by a large living area. Before I could take it all in, Chins grabbed my hand and went deeper into his home and slid open a door before leading me in. The bedroom was bigger than mine at my camp. The walls were a deep green with gold accents and trim. The decor was minimal with a bamboo plant and a few paintings. The bed looked very tempting to jump into, heaving with blankets and pillows.
"This is your bedroom. Decorate it how you please," There was a rare moment where he actually sounded happy. "Please let me know what foods to get, so you are properly taken care of here." He brushed his hand on my back as my mind began to reel.

He tried killing Ursa and then killed me for the hell of it.
He kidnapped my family to bring them here, for what? To see what living "off the grid" or organicly does?
My very young daughter is being trained to be a solder when her mental state isn't past a five-year-old's?
Who the hell knows what is happening to my mate?

A searing pain rang through my heart. I buckled over in pain and grabbed my chest. My breathing quickened and my vision went white before I was standing in a room. I couldn't feel anything, but I could see a knife, Russia, and a young girl. The girl curled into herself, mumbling a phrase I couldn't understand because of her crying. Russia's hands were shaking, looking at the knife with tear-filled eyes.

All of a sudden, I was thrown back into the room with China. He was holding my shoulders, cursing in Mandarin.
"I need to see Russia," I panted. "Now!"
He looked at my chest with his moth agape. I growled, then the pain crashed into me as I looked at the blood on my shirt. China shook his head and stood up, assisting me.
"Okay, America, let's visit Russia," he sounded defeated, but started to help me back to the main level.
