America's pov
☆°•☆•°☆

Strong arms held me close to the toned torso of my mate. Blankets were strung all over the bed, creating a cocoon of warmth. I felt weightless like a white fluffy cloud sluggishly making its way across the blue sky as I lay in bed beside Russia.
"I love you," he mumbled into my neck, sending little tingles up my spine. I smiled to myself.
"I love you too."

That past few days were undramatic, beside the gaze of my brother avoiding my eyes at every coast. I can't blame him though. I would do the same thing if I was in his shoes.

It's because whenever he looks into your eyes, he sees the void of what was once innocent. Man slut.

All of his innocents vanished once he was drug into that facility.

I rubbed away the growing headache before I considered drilling a hole through my skull to shut up the two bickering voices of my past self and ghost brother. I'm so grateful that they stay inside my scrambled mind and don't turn up as actual ghosts.

Britain's pov
☆°•☆•°☆

I woke up to an empty bed, like most days. France has always been a morning bird, I guess the little facility didn't change anything about her, while they changed everything about my eldest child. I performed my morning ritual and stepped into the cool air outside.

A small group of people crowded around a table sitting down in handmade chairs. Canada had an arm slung around the shoulders of a young man whose name slipped my mind. America was standing casually, engaging in conversation with a smile on his face.

I wish I didn't have to tare everything away from him... again. But orders are orders.

China chuckled at something my oldest son said. His amber eyes scanned the people around him. A large man crawled up behind America while he was chatting with his half-brother. The alpha's arms made their way around my son's waist as he placed a kiss on his head. A smile was painted on both of their faces.

It was a truly beautiful scene to witness. Watching my two grown sons with their loves, engaging in friendly conversation, smiling, laughing, enjoying each other's company.

A pair of blue and orange-red eyes landed on me and his smile was swept away by his joyful attitude. America sunk into Russia's arms and glanced away from me quickly. Canada snatched what his brother was looking at before and smiled at me and waved me over. I walked over to my sons.

"Good morning boys," I chirped.
"Morning dad," Canada cheerfully said, while America's response was silence and wandering eyes avoiding me. Russia's deep blue eyes burned into my skin.
"So how are all of you doing?" I asked.
"I believe what you were trying to say; how're all of yall doin'." The smart ass of my family remarked. I scoffed as my children chuckled as if they were still little boys.

I love my children, I truly do, but they are all brats.

"Why must you antagonize me so?" I huffed and rubbed the bridge of my nose.
"Oh you know, my mom taught me well," America responded.
"France doesn't-"
"Not France," he whispered under his breath and looked away from me.
Oh.

I looked away from my sons and began the search for my mate.

I don't know how I could ever cross my love and betray her. But I guess I have to.
