As I've said, Skullgirls is my most wanted franchise for Death Battle, so here are some more matchups for them that you could hopefully submit to the suggestion form:

-Filia vs Asa Mitaka [Chainsaw Man]: Two teenage girls who didn't have many friends growing up who after almost dying in an accident, Asa almost being killed by a Devil and Filia's family and her being killed by the mob, would bond with a supernatural being to survive. Said supernatural creature is a part of a group of monsters, Devils and Parasites, who people make deals with in exchange for power. The monsters they bonded with, Yoru and Samson, previously lost a fight with another powerful monster similar to them, Yoru losing and being wounded by Chainsaw Man and Samson losing to Eliza. This greatly impacted both of them and led them both to developing a strong hate toward these monsters, Yoru hating Chainsaw Man for humiliating her and making her weaker and Samson's previous host dying to Eliza. Now they share a body with these teenagers, although with very different relationships. Yoru is simply using Asa for her goals of killing Chainsaw Man, Samson feels a great amount of guilt towards his previous host dying and being unable to protect Filia's families who died. The two of them are now looking to defeat a powerful monster, the Skullgirl and the Chainsaw Man, but they are now a different incarnations of this monster, Marie and Denji. The two of them start off selfish, Asa just wanting to be left alone and just wants for Yoru to leave her alone and Filia wants to get her memories back. However both of them would eventually want to help people which would start with them doing something selfless for their friends, Asa saving her new friend Yuko and Filia using the Skullheart's wish to give Carol her life back. However these acts didn't fully go well for them, Asa would trip and almost die if not for the Chainsaw Man saving her and would later on have to fight Yuko when she made a deal with the Justice Devil and the Skullheart slowly turning Filia into the next Skullgirl due to her wish being fueled by guilt instead of selflessness.

-Filia vs Hyde Kido [Under Night in Birth]. Main protagonists of obscure anime-esque fighting games who used to be average teens attending a regular school, until they, at some point, ended up encountering the recurring villains of their respective series (Filia and her parents were visited by Vitale and Ottomo of the Medici mafia, while Hyde was attacked by a Void). This encounter would prove to be nearly fatal. However, they would be saved in the nick of time by an extremely old supernatural being with a sad past. Said being would place something into their body in order to save them from death (Filia was saved by Samson, who made her his host by merging with her hair, while Hyde was saved by Linne, who put the Insulator into his body). These things inside of them would become their main source of power, with their fighting styles mostly just being them relying on their powers with a bit of skill mixed in (Filia relies entirely on Samson during fights, while Hyde mostly always relies on the Insulator's ability to erase existence). Both are friends with a girl who, despite looking young, is actually super old, who has a small companion following her around, who has a tragic backstory involving her and hers family's death, who has or had a family member who bore a dark curse, and who always returns to life after death (Squigly, who was killed alongside her father, and whose mother became the Skullgirl. She returns to life every seven years when the Skullheart awakens. Linne, who was killed and then cursed by her also cursed brother to always reincarnate every time she dies). Both are trying to save a girl they are friends with from their torment, something that either can or has been achieved using a cursed object (Painwheel, whom Filia saved by wishing on the Skullheart, and Linne, whom Hyde can save by killing her with the Insulator). Both have a nemesis in the form of a sexy rich woman who wants the source of their powers for herself (Eliza and Hilda). Both are destined to become even stronger in the likely sequels of their respective games' stories (Filia is supposed to eventually get Delilah's twin blades, while Hyde only had his powers for a month, and is going to get even stronger in the future).
