Wings

Kit dives down, chasing after Enoch and aiming his steaming fists at him.

He shoots concentrated blasts of energy, one finally clipping one of Enoch's wings and causing him to spiral and then hit the ground.

Immediately kit folds his wings back and dives as fast as he can down to where Enoch had landed.

He lands, seeing the place of impact, but not seeing enough.

He looks around angrily.

"SHOW YOURSELF!"he demands.

He hears Enoch chuckling.

"Why are you so cross, Kitran? Did I touch your woman?"he asks condescendingly.

Kit growls and then takes in a deep, deep breath. Then he releases his breath, blowing so hard the trees before him instantly fall.

He does a 360, blowing down all of the trees around till he sees Enoch fall from one of them.

He then leaps into the air and lands with one door on each of Enoch's wings.

Enoch shouts in pain as kit uses his powers to bind Enoch's claws by the wrist.

"You're an abomination."Kit spits at him, making Enoch chuckle.

"And what are you? Planning to takr your human friend like you did?"he smirks.

Kits eyes widen.

"Watch your tongue! Or I'll rip it out."Kit says.

Enoch full on laughs in kits face.

"You and I are the same, Kitran. The only difference, is I don't hide that I can't control it."Enoch smirks.

Kit growls.

"You don't know what your talking about."

"I saw the look in your eye, Kitran. You want to ravage her, same as me. You want to taste her flesh." Enoch says through clenched teeth, pulling on his restraints.

"You want to be the one to carve her womb, that's why you're so angry with me, aren't you."

Kit strikes him in the face, knocking him unconscious.

"Enough of you."

...

I walk with Stephen and he huffs slightly.

"Are you okay, Kat?"he asks.

I sigh and nod.

"Um. I just had a hard time coming back to reality."I say softly.

"I...I didn't know you were...I just want to apologize."he says, nervous.

"You don't have to apologize, Stephen. You didn't do anything wrong. Besides, no use dwelling on the past. It's the past."I smile, leaning against him as he walks.

He lets out a sigh of relief before wrapping a comforting arm around me.

"Let's go see about that fairy wine."he says, making me chuckle.

"I could definitely use a drink."

Kit swoops down, dropping Enoch into the awaiting prison coop.

Lunar greets Enoch outside the cage.

"I knew you'd be back."Lunar says as kit lands beside him, flapping his large wings.

"He flies fast."kit says, shaking his wings out.

"You've done well. You, ready this monstrosity for the ceremony."he says to the fairies guarding the cage.

"And kit, come with me. I have another favor to ask."

"You expect me to help him?"kit says, pointing at moon.

"I'm only asking."Lunar says.

"He came here to take me away. To take Katherine! He's a traitor."Kit says.

"His intentions are to kill the man who severed his wings. Any fairy has that right. You would've killed him twice if it were you."Lunar says.

"Brother, I do-"

"I said don't call me that."Lunar snaps.

Moon huffs and Lunar looks at kit.

"I'm asking as a friend, Kitran."

Kit looks at moon and huffs in defeat.

"Fine. After the ceremony."
