It took Naruto a few tries, but he finally had filled his lungs with enough oxygen to weeze out, "T-they f-found th-them, Captain! Off the coast to the east!"
Sasuke knew instantly who Naruto was referring (who they were) and unceremoniously dumped the poor woman onto the stone floor at his feet. His gaze narrowed, his rum long forgotten on the table next to his previously occupied chair while the woman tried to right herself, her lips twisted in an angry pout that he ignored fully. "Take me to them...NOW," he commanded harshly and Naruto nodded before running back towards the door of the tavern with his captain in tow.

Two and a half more days had passed before he (and half of his crew) had reached their mark; and to Sasuke's great satisfaction his third in command had managed to nab one of the wicked sirens in a large fisher's net; bringing it onto the deck of his dinghy for questioning.
"Ahoy, Captain."
In no mood for pleasantries, Sasuke brought his vessel to a full stop next to the smaller boat and narrowed his eyes at the creature as it fought desperately to free itself. "Bring that thing aboard."
"Aye, aye, Captain!" Able-bodied crewman worked quickly to shift the sea creature from the small dinghy to the larger ship and within just a few moments time, their captain was standing before it, with his powerful arms crossed over his chiseled chest, and narrowed eyes glaring dangerously at the trembling figure.
"Where is your leader?"
The being remained silent, black eyes wide with fright as she stared up towards the imposing figure. Her black hair was plastered to her pale flesh and her grey-white scales slithered up and down, spreading wide across her minute frame, before reaching the thickened contours of her tail. Her fin was twitching with the need to return to the ocean's depths from which she resided, but Sasuke wouldn't allow it. He pulled his trusted Kusanagi from his waistband and pointed it at her throat. "I ask you once more... just once... where is your leader snake?" Still, silence.
With his patience lost, he sliced the blade across her belly before impaling her tailfin to the wooden deck beneath her. She screamed in agony, the sounds traveling far and wide across the open sea, and the captain's lips pulled up into a wide, unnerving grin...and the unnatural calm that washed over him startled even the bravest of his company, causing them all to shift on their feet with nervous energy.
"More and more pain will follow this if you do not reply... if you wish to remain silent, beast. Be truthful and I might let you live."
The siren cowered... whimpering in perpetual torment as her blood congealed on the deck, but she shut her mouth in angry defiance; unwilling to yield to his harsh demands. 'Foolish,' he thought as he lifted his sword up again before bringing it down swiftly for another harsher and disfiguring blow.
Her screams could be heard from miles away, much to his wicked delight. 'Soon. I'll have you. You will be mine, little siren.'

Five days later—
"Captain!!! Sir, they're coming! Quickly! From the west they approach us!!!" Many of his sailors glanced over the sides, limbs shaking significantly as they witnessed several forms approaching in the crashing waves at a swift pace. Sasuke smirked slightly when he spotted the now familiar shade of pink, rising slightly above the untamed surface of the sea.
"Prepare the cannons...," he screamed above the roaring of the ocean waves crashing against his ship as it pushed its way forwards; his onyx-colored eyes briefly drifting over to the slumped figure, tied to their mast before focusing on the approaching figures once more. Sasuke's heart began to pound wildly, as the anticipation amped up the intensity of his mood... the longing for a second encounter with this wicked enchantress causing his blood pressure to rise and his mind to run wild with scenarios of different possibilities in which this interaction could go.
He was eager for it.
He wanted it.
Desperately.
Naruto came up to him, standing on his right with his lips twisted into a frown. "Are you sure about this, Captain?"
"Why, scared?"
"Bastard, of course not," the blonde growled before huffing and rolling his eyes; his gaze shifting from the dark-haired to the creatures swimming towards them. "I just mean that with what happened last time and all... do you think it wise to poke the bear... so to speak. To push your luck— I just don't know."
"Aye, it may not be wise, idiot," he conceited, but his eyes narrowed nonetheless as his grip on the wheel tightened. "But I've never been the rash one, have I."
"Sasuke—"
"Leave it. It's too late now anyway. Prepare yourself." The blonde pierced his lips but nodded in the affirmative before drawing a sword from its sheath.
"I'm with you... until the end, Captain." He felt his stomach twist into knots at his friend's declaration and tried his best to shake the feeling of unease away. His focus was drawn to the starboard side of his vessel when a thump could be heard... followed by a man's anguished scream as he was roughly dragged overboard by some sort of seaweed rope.
It had begun.
"Steady men, do not waver in the face of our enemy." His shout could be heard, followed by several battle cries from the remaining crewmen as they drew their swords in front of them; ready for what was to come next.
He watched as one by one the sirens were slaughtered. It was a bizarre mixture of emotions racing through him... as he watched his best friend pull the pink-haired one aboard their ship. The sea creature was hissing and spitting at him as she fought back, but his grip on her was firm as he held her down between his legs...and she was unable to wiggle away from him no matter how many times she attempted to buck him off of her hips.
When the blonde-haired brought his sword up, just as her hands began to glow around his fist... fangs elongated on a steady growl of frustration; Sasuke acted.
He ran over to them, shoving the blonde to the side before taking his place; the sharp tip of Kusanagi placed against the delicate column of her throat. She stopped struggling, her eyes widening in surprise while the green glow on her hands began to fade. Naruto jumped back to his feet and hesitantly approached; sword drawn by his side.
"Captain?"
"I've got this one," Sasuke hissed, eyes almost wild as he looked down at her; the grin on his lips was unnatural and unnerving. "Capture another. If they haven't all been killed already."
Cautiously, his best friend complied. "Aye, aye, Captain."
Sasuke was unsure of what to do now that he had her in his grasp; his eagerness still wagging war on his system, but he felt the desire to toy with his new prize a little and bent to hover above her. Pressing the blade of Kusanagi against her throat to bring forth a tiny trickle of blood to her otherwise unblemished, alabaster skin.
He whispered into her ear, "You are mine, little siren."
