Calista's POV:
"The republic has been looking for you" he told me calmly as I slowly and carefully pulled up my pants.

"I think half the damn planetary system is after my ass" I laughed nervously.

"You could be the one who gives the republic the upper hand!" Exclaimed Obiwan.

I didn't like where this was going. At all.

"So what? So you could poke at me like I'm some sort of lab rat? No fucking thanks!" I yelled and made my way to the door.

"I think we can work out some sort of deal," Obiwan started.

Narrowing my eyes I turned to him.

"What deal? Imagine what the council would think of you if they found out you not only found the anomaly but you also slept with her!" I shrugged and laughed. "I think I have the upper hand here" I smirked and took one step out of the door.

"Ah, the most powerful being, yet so naive." He started. "You can't run forever"

My body froze in its tracks.
"Yes I can" I said, but this time with less confidence in my voice.

"One day you'll run out of planets and fake names" he said. "You can't keep running from your problems because eventually they'll catch up to you."

I turned to him.

"I don't need anyones help I can handle my own shit!" I screamed.

"You're quite arrogant for someone who's supposed to be neutral" his voice kept the same calm tone the whole time which intrigued me.

"What're you gonna do if I dont make a deal with you? You gonna send a bounty hunter after me?" I cackled. "I collect their armor and send little postcards back to whoever hired them. Try again buddy"

"No. I do not wish you any harm. I just hope you'll do good with your power." He responded.

"I'm not good. Or bad." I said.

"I know. That light saber, it's not yours, is it?"

I glanced down at my light saber to realize it wasn't mine. Fuck. Anakin and I must've accidentally grabbed each other's light sabers after our fight.

"It's mine." I had to keep a straight face. I gripped the doorframe to the point where it cracked.

"Calista I'm not stupid. I'd know that light saber from anywhere. It once belonged to my former padawan. For an all powerful being you're not a very good liar" he kept a straight face.

"It belonged to Anakin." He said.

I don't know what came over me but the next thing you know rage filled my body and I launched part of that doorframe at Obiwan. Hearing that name spoken aloud reminded me of how he broke me.

He caught the doorframe piece and tossed it aside using the force. The piece that was one part of a doorway now harmlessly lay in the corner of the sleeping quarters.

My feet were no longer on the ground. My palms started to heat up as flames burst out of them. The orange flames in my hands were hungry for destruction. I was about to let this place become devoured by flames, but then Obiwan spoke.

"I can help you find him."

And next thing you know my feet were back firmly on the ground, and my flames went out. My legs were shaking and I could barely stand up.

"You knew him didn't you?" He asked me.

"Knew him? I MADE him! If i hadn't picked him up from the lava and rubble he would've been a goner" I threw my arms up in defeat. "I used so much of my energy to fix this man and the moment he was whole again he decided he didn't need me!" I buried my face in my hands.

"I think we can work out a deal. The republic can help you find him and then you can do as you wish with him" he placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.

"How do I know I can trust you?" I turned to him.

"Tell you this- well take this to the Jedi council and discuss it further. Not sure how they'll feel about this deal but it seems like the smartest move currently. You help us, we help you"

"Fine" I sighed. But I'm taking my ship and parking it near your headquarters.

He nodded as he gave me directions that I could use to get to Coruscant.

"See you there" he waved at me.

When I finally made it back to my ship I called over my droids.

"Off to Coruscant I go!" I rolled my eyes.
