Y/N - Your Name

(Kinda sad? But also kinda cringe? Hmmm)

READER PRONOUNS: SHE/HER

As the battle rages around you, your eyes are focused on your enemy. Tommy's eyebrows are furrowed in concentration as he monitors your movements.

You step forward, and he raises his sword. You charge, Tommy charges.

The clash of your swords is almost deafening, but you don't let it dishearten you.

Bringing your sword down, you let Tommy's blade follow it. When he's in that position, you bring the hilt of your sword up to hit him in the nose.

He stumbles back, clutching his face and spewing out a string of curses. His blue eyes shine with anger as he opens them again.

He runs towards you, sword angled for your shoulder. You block that area, but Tommy brings his sword down to plunge it into your stomach.

It makes contact.

The searing pain of the sword slicing open your flesh brings immediate tears to your eyes, and your eyes travel down to see the previously shining iron sword drenched with red.

"Fuck, Y/N-" Tommy starts, but he cuts himself off with a shaky inhale.

You curl in on yourself, clutching your hand around the blade in your torso.

Tommy reaches out and removes the sword before you can stop him.

"Tommy no! That'll- shit." You murmur, desperately clutching the wound that was now drenching your armour and shirt with blood.

Behind you, you can hear heavy footsteps pound the ground.

"Y/N?" Yells Technoblade.

You weakly turn your head to see Techno's shock of pink hair whipping around his face. His hog skull has been shed, and his axe is dropped from his hand.

"Hi there." You mumble, and as Techno kneels down to hold your form, your body goes limp.

"What- how did this happen?!" He asks, pressing his hand to your hands to add more pressure to your wound.

"T-Tommy. He didn't mean to." You huff, out of breath.

Techno doesn't even bother looking up at Tommy, who was now quietly sobbing as he watches you both.

"It doesn't matter. You'll be fine," he says, his voice cracking as he holds back tears, "you'll be fine."

You knew he was wrong.

"I should've blocked it." You say, smiling as your eyes turn skyward.

Techno's sharp inhale lets you know he's started to cry. You wanted to look at him and tell him not to cry, that everything'll be ok.

But you don't have the energy.

"I'm sorry." You sob, chest spasming as tears run down your face.

"No. No!" Techno yells as your breath shallows.

"You know what?" You murmur, "I love you."

The sob that's ripped out of Techno's mouth is almost inhuman.

"I love you too, and I'll tell you that even more when you live." He wept, shifting you in his arms so he can hold you closer.

"Goodbye, don't- don't be sad when I'm gone. Please." You whisper, and Techno shakes his head as he regards your pale skin and barely-moving chest.

"Don't leave me. Don't you dare leave me," Techno begs, "don't you leave me alone."

But it's too late. Your eyes gloss over and your chest stops rising.

Techno lets out a howl of grief as your fall limp in his arms.

The sounds of the battle die down as peoples heads turn to look at Techno's heaving form.

Once they notice your still body in his arms, they understand what was happening.

Around Techno, both sides of the battle lower their swords and take a knee, mourning and honouring you.

But he didn't care.

You're gone. You left him.

And he could never get you back.
