Goodbye's Suck

My alarm went off on my phone at exactly 6:00 AM. I was quick to turn it off and turn to my left to see if I accidentally woke up Jisoo.

Seeing her still asleep, I whisper a "thank god" and carefully remove the covers and get out of bed.

Making my way to my bathroom, I analyze my appearance in the mirror. I was definitely not a morning person and all the crying I have been doing lately hasn't helped me.

I take a quick shower and brush my teeth before I walk back to my room and do my best to make as little noise as possible.

Originally I reached for sweatpants and a loose t-shirt to wear for my long flight ahead. But then thought about the cameras and how I would be photographed.

I sigh and reach for a sweater and regular black jeans with a belt.

I leave my hair down and apply my everyday minimal makeup look.

My flight wasn't till 9:00 so I had to leave for the airport around 7:30.

Looking at the time I sigh realizing I still have an hour.

I roll all of my luggage to the living room. Trying my best to keep quiet and not wake up the other members.

When I hear my phone go off, I grab it thinking it's one of the managers confirming with me.

But instead, find a text from Jae.

I smile reading his name and open up the message from him letting me know he is downstairs waiting for me.

I frown in confusion before he sends another text telling me to hurry up.

I shrug and make my way to the door making sure to shut it lightly.

When I am in the elevator, I curse myself for not bringing a hat with me.

Hopefully, the face mask will do.

When I see Jaehyun's car outside I keep my head low hoping no cameras were around.

When I do reach his car, I quickly get in while Jaehyun smiles at me.

He waits for me to settle in before handing me a cup of coffee and a bag that had a blueberry muffin in it.

My face lights up over the fact he remembered my favorite snack to eat in the morning. Even getting it from my favorite bakery. "Thank you!" I tell him before biting into the muffin.

He nods and drives a few blocks down from my dorm building, in a more secluded place.

When he puts the car in park he turns his whole body to look at me while I look back at him halfway through me taking a big bite out of the muffin.

My cheeks are full making me look like a chipmunk but minus the cuteness.
