Chapter 69: Investigation

It had been almost a week since the special training session to where every other Guardian Class student had outplayed and outnumbered you fair and square

You were still a little sore from the whole thing, not using a Senzu bean as you had agreed with Kalasha to preserve them for serious occasions, seeing as being in a whole different reality, their stock is quite limited

There weren't any bandages or casts on you, you were just a bit sore, with a few small bruises here and there

Currently laying down in your bed, you found your stomach growling with that same Saiyan appetite that almost no one could rival

Y/N: Man...I forgot...I...haven't eaten anything since yesterday...

There was a sudden knock on your door as you then raised a brow and called to whoever was on the other side

Y/N: Come in!

The door then opened to reveal Asia and Lotte with a dozen plates of food ready for you to chow down on, you smiled upon seeing this and greeted them happily

Asia: Hey, Y/N!

Lotte: We brought breakfast!

Y/N: Hey, Asia! Hi, Lotte! Your timing literally couldn't be better!

Asia and Lotte placed the many platers of food into your bed in trays as you gazed upon it all in awe and excitement, despite how many girlfriends you had, you had never had breakfast in bed before

It was certainly a nice change, with Lotte and Asia both sitting on the side of your bed, watching with innocent smiles on their faces as you scarfed everything down

Lotte: Sorry that you lost that training session, you did your best!

Swallowing what was already in your mouth, you then have Lotte a plain look as your smile disappeared

Y/N: Eh, I didn't really though, I still had my true power and stuff, you guys just happened to catch me off guard. But you did win overall, so good job!

With that your smile slowly creeped back onto your face as you kept eating before another knock could be heard on the door

The three of you looked to the door to see Kalasha standing there, with you giving him a waving gesture to come in as your mouth was currently full

Kalasha: Good Morning, Y/N. I'm glad to see that you're doing well.

Y/N: You too.

Kalasha: Listen, there's a few things we need to discuss.

Y/N: I'm listening...

Kalasha: First of all, during your battle with Lotus, that final technique you used to finish it, "Torrent" was it?

Y/N: Oh Yeah...*Gulp*...I had recently came up with it, weirdly enough I learnt it though a dream I had one night.

Kalasha: That's what I suspected...

Y/N: Huh? How?

Kalasha: "Torrent" is a sacred technique invented by the first incarnation of the Celestial King. It spreads all of the energy you have onto the target doing damage, and also manipulates the target's own Ki into practically combusting from the inside out. It was only meant to ever be used as a last resort.

Y/N: The First Celestial Incarnation? I met him once, he helped me out during the battle against Ark!

Kalasha: Excuse me...?

Y/N: Yeah, his name was Inazi. He was a big part in saving our reality.

Kalasha: I-I see, I didn't expect you to know him personally. He may have said that you came after him, but there's a LONG list that came before you, each leading to the same fate, to Die unnatural deaths. That technique of yours has a major drawback.
