You were sitting with Marshall watching some late night TV show to get your mind off of the thing that just happened this week. Your mind started wondering off to everything that just happened. It all started when Tyler asked you to go visit his family with him in Brampton.
*Flashback*
Tyler just walked in after he had practice. You were in the kitchen getting food ready for lunch. He walked into the kitchen and gave you a hug from behind. “So, I talked to my mom earlier and she said she wanted to see us during Christmas.” You turned around and gave him a look. “Ty, I’m busy during Christmas. You know that.” “I know but can you try and get the day off?”
"I’ve already tried Tyler, I can’t." Tyler groaned and then told you, "You always put work before me. I never see you anymore."
"Oh yeah I put work ahead of you," you said sarcastically. "You’re never here half the time anyway. I’m babysitting your own house for you."
"I never said you had to babysit my house for me on the road. You choose too."
"I only choose too because I don’t want Marshall to be alone when you’re on long ass road trips."
"Okay then. just forget about going to Brampton with me," Tyler said and walked out of the kitchen. You put the food away in the refrigerator and put food in Marshall’s bowl, then left.
That was only the first day of all the chaos. the next couple of days you two were separated because Tyler was on a road trip up in Canada for Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary. When he came back, he wanted you to pick him up and take him home. You had a feeling it wasn’t going to be a pleasant drive home. And you were correct. Tyler gave you crap again on how you weren’t trying hard enough to get off work. After that part, the fight was just over something stupid. It was so stupid that you can’t even remember what happened.
This is where you’re at now. Sitting on the couch with Marshall watching late night TV. You looked down at Marshall and started talking to him. “Your daddy is an idiot most of the time but there’s that sweet side of him that made me fall for him,” you told Marshall. You heard the door open and turned around to see Tyler walk through the door. “That’s my cue to go,” you whispered and stood up. “No please don’t go yet,” he told you. He slowly walked towards you and said, “Just please listen to what I have to say.”
"Go ahead.""Y/N, there’s a reason why I was bugging you to try and get off work for Christmas. I wanted to tell you this in Canada when it was snowy and the background filled with snow, but Jamie told me that I was an idiot for waiting to tell you this and it shouldn’t be planned when it feels right to say. So what I want to tell you is that, I love you Y/N." You smiled and walked towards him and held his hand. "You can be such an idiot at times but, I love you too Tyler."
