You travel a lot because of work and your girlfriend Audrey understands, but sometimes she just wishes you could stay home with her. When you are away overseas, she misses you so much she can hardly stand it. She misses hearing your voice and seeing your beautiful smile. Gosh, she even misses your little fights over stupid things. For so many years Audrey thought she was better alone because everyone seemed to hurt her, but when she met you everything changed. You had an instant connection. You were intelligent, funny and kind. And Audrey couldn't stop herself from falling in love with you.
So now, when you have to go away to work, Audrey misses you very much. You call her every night to tell her all about your day and Audrey tells you everything about hers.
"I miss you.", Audrey says every time she is about to end up the call.
"I'm coming home, darling. I promise.", you say and it's true: you just can't wait to have her in your arms again.
