'Two more minutes left in the game! The New Vengeance team, led by Sky Anderson, is on the lead by two points! What a close fight, ya'll! Everyone is so hyped up in here! We all can't wait on what's going to happen!'

"Huy, Abo! Konting focus naman d'yan! On the lead na sila!" Viel worriedly shouted.

I didn't respond to him. To be honest, I don't really care at all. I just want to enjoy the game since it's been a while since I last played with them. And it's not like it's a competition after all.

I searched for Yanisa in the crowd. Our eyes locked instantly. She looked worried as she mouthed, "Go!"

Tumango ako at kinagat ng kaunti ang ibabang labi para pigilan ang ngiting gustong kumawala. Wala na, nababaliw na yata ako. 

"Dude, focus!" Austin said when he passed by me.

"Tangina nito ni Abo, nakangiti lang eh! Adik ka na brad?!" naiinis na tanong sa akin ni Viel. Ang sarap lalong asarin eh. Gutom na gutom sa panalo eh.

"Focus bro! Mamaya na harot!" natatawang sambit naman ni Clyde.

Umiling nalang ako at natawa na rin bago nagpatuloy sa paglalaro.

'WHATDAH! Sky Anderson scores three points!!! That was so unexpected! Looks like they really did prepare for this championship! Will the New Vengeance win this year?! They have a big chance, ayt?! This is so exciting!'

When Sky hit the three points shot, the crowd cheered wildly for him. I looked at Yanisa again. Kahit na ang ingay sobra nila Ynna at Janina sa pagkakapuntos ni Sky, hindi nakikisama si Yanisa sa kanila.

She was just there, sitting quietly. When our eyes met again, she made a cute sad face.

"What's that for?" I mouthed, trying to contain my laughter.

"You're losing!" she mouthed back, like her life depends on my game. She even gave me a thumbs down.

"Nope," I mouthed as I quickly focused on the game again.

'Woaaaah! Viel Valderama took a shot before Dwight Condez could block him! He scores! This is crazy!!! Make some noise for Viel, Midway Arena! He really improved a lot this year, too!'

'Holy shiz! Dave Buenavista steals the ball effortlessly from Chase Villamoral! That was one hell of a steal! Amazing!!!'

'Erick Salas from the New Vengeance fails to shoot. Aw! Ash Anderson got the ball! Legendary star player Ash Anderson has the freaking ball now!'

'Ash Anderson makes a long pass to Austin Stranford, then passes it to Clyde Ferrer then back to Ash Anderson! Woaaaah! What are they planning to do?! This is getting wayyyy crazier by the second!'

'Fifteen seconds left on the clock! The New Vengeance is on the lead by two points and our legendary Ash Anderson still got the ball! Look closely, everyone! Our very own Ash Anderson is aiming for a three point shot! Will he make it?!?!'

Silence...

'DAYUUUUM! BOOOOOM! He scores!!! Ash Ander-fucking-son scores!!! That's what you call a buzzer beater! Congratulations! What a great game! The Alumni Team is still our defending champion! What a great match that was!'

The confetti started falling to the ground. People were loudly cheering in the crowd. The whole arena was standing up and are all waving their Vengeance balloons and flags. The noise is deafening but I didn't mind it at all.
