Kelvin's eye's flew open as Edda touched him, he maintained eye contact with her for a couple of seconds before Rava interrupted.
" can you two be kind enough to stop daydreaming about each other and help kill this thing"
"I wasnt daydreaming " Edda glared.
"yeah....  Right " Rava replied backing away.
Before she returned her gaze, Kelvin was off running toward the infrint again.

As Alwin had planned,  all of them burst out towards the demon at once,  but he was ready.  He assigned a sword to each one of them,  while he watched them do battle with interest.
He was already assembling rocks to form himself a body when water and lightening hit him from opposite directions.
He looked up to see the two Mages, channeling the elements with all their might.

Rava blocked the sword attacking him a couple of times, before it shattered as a result of the attack on the infrint.  He then took his bow, and shot at the demon,  with one of Alwin's enchanted arrows.
This drew the demons attention to him. He wanted to shoot a again when the demon raised his hand to stop him.
"Rava don't " he cried.
"wait... how do you even know my name"
"I'm a spirit,  I know everything "
"oh really "
"yes... I do" his ghostly voice sounded
"if you know everything... When is my birthday ?"
"first day of the tenth month "
"favourite food? "
"prickled eggs"
"what kind of women do I like "
"smoking hot dairy maids "
"ugh...  Never mind, scratch that" Rava replied,  turning with the hope that no one heard them.
Vulcan snickered, and this caught Rava's attention
"hey... mind your own business " he said
"this is my business" Vulcan replied.
"no it's not" Rava countered.
"yes it is"
"no it's not"
"seriously guys "  Natasha sounded from his side.

"oh...  Right " Rava said,  pretending to get serious.
"then I have one more question for you...  Do i get to taste the delici... "
"enough,  the infrint yelled,  blasting all of them, away from himself.     All but  Alwin,  who somehow had snuck all the way to his back. He planted his sword in the broken seal, and it transferred up from the earth, to all the parts of his body, like a tattoo, after which he twisted the handle, and consequently it's blade in the earth.

Enya-  Exile 🎶

The locking of the seal created a blast that reverberated throughout the heated regions,  even to the snow lands, brushing and uprooting everything in sight, like they were nothing but dust particles. Moments later,  when the air was clear, the Infrint was gone, sealed back into the flaming tree.
Alwin knelt there,  unable to withdraw his hands from the sword handle.
"noooooooooo!!!" Kelvin cried with all the strength left in him, at the realization of what his father had done. He rushed over to him and knelt before him with glassy eyes...
"why..."
"there was no other way" Alwin muttered, as his form started to fade
"I told you to trust me, I could find a way around it"
"and I do...  I trust you, to find a way around your destiny too"
"but Im not ready, I'm not strong enough,  I still need you"
Alwin applied effort to his left arm, and transformed it to that of the wolf,  to slow the fading down. He reached out to Kelvin's shoulder.
"I'm always with you" he said,  before withering into dust particles carried away by the wind.

Kelvin's eyes itched and went pink, as he knelt there, before the sword.
His mind, racing back to previous days, into the breif moments he had shared with his dad.from their conversations to training sessions. A tear forced out of his left eye,  when he realized his dream of reuniting with his full family had died.

The others stood downhearted behind him, all failing to find the right words to console him.
Edda felt a void within her,  as she recalled how Alwin had intereacted with her, like she was his daughter.
She looked up into the night clouds above with heavy eyes,  trying to force the tears back in.
She involuntarily strode to Kelvin's side,  and drew him closer to herself, as she knelt too, hugging him tightly.
