- Question for Merida/Redhead: Why are you such a tomboyish girl? I'm a little tomboyish too. Btw, Hello, Elsa!!!

~ • ~

Elsa: *smiles at camera* Hello!

Merida: *shrugs* Like Punz, I think it's also due to my upbringing. Ye can say that with anything, honestly. I grew up around a lot of lads. Like a lot! Big, hairy, and loud lads! Also currently dating one. *crosses arms*

Hiccup: Huh...?

Merida: Anyway, my dad was my role model. The only other lasses at DunBroch other than my mother were from the castle staff whom I don't get to spend too much one-on-one time with. But that didn't mean I got a shortage of lessons on how to be a "lady." Oh, Mum made sure of that...

Merida: *shrugs* I mean, it's not a choice. I don't tell myself, "Oi, be a tomboy!" And there's not some switch that I can just turn on or off whenever I please. I just act like myself, I guess.

Merida: Aye, I dinnae ken. Maybe internally and unintentionally, it's probably my way of rebelling against all those years of schooling and shaping me to fit a mold... even when I don't mean to. A coping mechanism? Whatever that means. Is that the word? Och.

Hiccup: *whistles* Well, well, well. Look who's been reading my psychology books!

Merida: *blushes*

Elsa: Your psychology books? Those are mine! No wonder I can't locate them. *crosses arms*

Rapunzel: Wait, we still have individual ownership in this house? I thought everything belonged to everyone? Like a little communist group, you know?

Merida: Oookay! Lotta big words being thrown around today. Next chapter, please?!

Jack: *nods* I think that's a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious idea, Red!

Merida: ARGH!
