Psalm 118 describes God's love as enduring forever, it doesn't say God's love “lasts” forever, is says it “endures.” Let's face it, as humans we don't always deserve love and God's love hasn't just lasted, it's had to endure through generations of our conceit. We mess up almost everything we do, relationships being one of them. But while human love is often finite and given with boundaries and conditions, God's love endures forever. Let's try to be thankful for everything we have, including the love we receive, whatever the source. Let's try not to be so conceited that we feel we deserve the love we get, but let's try to always humbly reciprocate the love we receive, so we will ensure enduring love in our lives.
