“Make your work to be in keeping with your purpose.” Leonardo da Vinci

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:29

Constancy: “the quality of being faithful and dependable.” New Oxford American Dictionary

God has a purpose for all of those who choose to live for it. History has seen time and again, great people succeed when they showed constancy to the purpose God made them for. How else can we explain all the bullets George Washington and Winston Churchill escaped. They should have been killed multiple times. Each man had their clothes torn by enemy bullets, and yet each man went unscathed. We could explain their safety as simple luck, or dumb fate; however, it becomes more and more difficult, and looks more and more like divine providence, when you consider what they accomplished later in life. The results of those accomplishments can be seen and felt today. I challenge all of us to study the events of human history and see if we can't see the hand of God in action. Because it's when we see God's work in our history, and in our present circumstances that we are convinced and confident that He will work in our future. And when God's power is unleashed in our lives, a new purpose is found. And it's that purpose which empowers our lives in every way. So let's search for God's work in our lives. Let's ask for God's guidance on our journey. In doing so, I'm confident we'll all be inspired to towards a purpose, a purpose that can change lives.
