2 Years Later – Corey's POV

"Would you rather be playing at the All Star Game?"

I looked at Kat and shook my head.

"No, we both needed a nice break from our lives" I admitted.

She smiled and nodded slowly as she took a bite of the chocolate covered Strawberry.

"Where are you going?" I asked as she stood up.

"I was thinking we could pop open that bottle of wine"

I smiled.

"You read my mind" I told her.

"Let me go get it"

I nodded and watched as she walked inside. I made sure she was out of sight when I pulled out a small black velvet box from my swim trunks.

"Corey"

I glanced up.

"Yeah?" I called out.

"Do you remember where the wine glasses are?"

I opened the box and looked at the ring in front of me.

"Never mind, I found them"

I took a deep breath and slipped the box into my swim trunks.

"I was thinking we could go walk along the shore in a bit"

I looked up and nodded as Kat made her way over. She set the wine bottle and two wine glasses on the small table and looked at me.

"What do you say?"

"We haven't been to the beach at night, so that should be fun" I told her.

She nodded and I watched as she uncorked the bottle.

"Do you want some?"

"Sure" I said.

She filled both glasses half way and handed me one.

"It's so peaceful here"

I nodded and took a sip of the wine.

"It's a perfect get away spot" I said.

"You also get to work on your Spanish"

I understood Spanish, but I could not correctly speak it without sounding like an idiot.

"The food is great as well" I stated.

She smiled and nodded.

"We should go and do some yoga tomorrow morning"

I smiled.

"I like sleeping in" I told her.

"You can sleep when we get back, I promise you that it will be fun"

I nodded.

"Alright, we can go do yoga. Under one proposition" I said.

"Oh yea, what's that"

"No alarm clock, you have to wake up all on your own" I stated.

She grinned.

"I'll wake up, my internal clock has gotten used to little to no sleep"

"We're here to relax" I said.

She hummed.

"Then listen to your own advice Mr. Seager"

I smiled.

"How about we go to Yoga in the morning and then we go and get a massage" I told her.

"That sounds like a great idea"

"Then it's set" I said.

She nodded.

"Only if you wake up early on your own" I added.

"I will get up, getting you up may be the problem"

I shrugged lightly.

"What can I say, I love being lazy with you" I said.

She laughed and looked at me.

"You look like something's on your mind"

"You know me too well" I told her.

"That I do"

I chuckled.

"What is on your mind?"

"We've been dating for 3 years now" I started.

She nodded.

"I was told no last time, but that was 2 years ago" I stated.

I cleared my throat.

"I want to ask your parents if you could move in with me. We could look at houses, heck we can even build a house" I told her.

I smiled and reached for her hand.

"Your parents love me" I sassed.

She laughed and nodded.

"That they do"

"Let's move in together" I told her.

"My parents will say no"

"They won't" I assured her.

"Why are you so certain?"

I smiled and let go of her hand.

"I told you, I have a plan" I stated.

"And what is this plan?"

"It involves you saying yes to my marriage proposal" I told her.

Her eyes widened and I took the time to get down on one knee. I pulled the small box out of my pocket and smiled up at her.

"Katalina, will you marry me?" I asked.

She covered her mouth with one hand and fanned herself with the other.

"I did not see this coming"

I chuckled and she looked at me as she covered her mouth.

"I'm going to cry"

I smiled and she nodded.

"Of course I'll marry you"

I laughed as she trampled me down on the floor and pulled me into a kiss. I was the happiest guy at the moment and I wouldn't change anything for it.
