Thirty Six

Katalina's POV- July 2016

I turned to Trayce who took a sip of his water.

"How's your back feeling?" I asked.

Corey had mentioned that Trayce was experiencing backpain.

"It comes and goes"

I nodded.

"Maybe it's a fracture?" I suggested.

"I sure hope not"

He let out a sigh and I decided to change the subject.

"Do you have any siblings?" I asked him.

Joc chuckled and Trayce shook his head at him.

"Yes I do"

I smiled.

"2 older brothers actually"

I nodded.

"You're the baby" I told him.

He smiled and glanced at Jaclyn who was looking down at her phone.

"I am the baby"

I hummed and nodded.

"They both play basketball actually"

"That's cool" I said.

He nodded.

"Klay plays for the Golden State Warriors and Mychel plays for the Santa Cruz Warriors"

Jaclyn looked up from her phone as Joc chuckled again.

"The only team in the Bay Area she actually keeps up with is the San Jose Sharks. Not all of us were born in the Bay Area, Joc"

He raised an eyebrow.

"My sister's boyfriend is their starting Goaltender" I said.

"Your sister's boyfriend is Martin Jones?"

I nodded.

"Yup" I said.

I reached for my water bottle and took a sip of it. Corey sat down next to me and handed Trayce a cupcake.

"Thanks man"

Joc looked at Corey.

"Have you met her sister's boyfriend?"

Corey took a bite of the cupcake and nodded.

"Yeah, his exteammate is going out with Cat our Market and Entertainment Coordinator"

Joc hummed and nodded.

"These are really good"

I looked at Corey and smiled.

"Thank you" I said.

Jaclyn nudged me and I looked down at her.

"This is too cute"

She handed me her phone and I smiled as I saw the picture. Stella, Mike's roommate had posted a picture of Mike whose back was facing her as he looked at the Ohio Statehouse. The picture was captioned "Took the Kiddo Sight Seeing"

"Who's that?"

I looked at Corey and handed him my phone.

"You know him" I said.

He raised an eyebrow as he looked at the picture. I smiled when he ended up liking the already liked picture.

"It's Mike" I told him.
