Katalina's POV- July 2016

I glanced up at Jaclyn as I put water bottles on a table. She was looking down at the group of incoming freshman with slight disgust in her face.

"You were once one of them" I mentioned.

She scoffed.

"I was never that rude though, it's like this generation is being raised by wolves"

I laughed as she gasped and looked at me.

"Did I really just say that?"

"Just put waterbottles on the table" I told her.

She grabbed some waterbottles and began putting them on another table.

"What are you doing tomorrow?"

"Coach asked if I could go see him, he asked if I saw you to ask you as well since you're not answering your phone" I said.

She laughed.

"Did you tell him I just got a new phone because the other broke?"

I nodded.

"What time are you going?"

"He asked to get there before 10AM" I said.

She set some water bottles on the table and nodded.

"Do you think it has to do with Mason?"

I raised an eyebrow.

"Tess decided to focus on gymnastics, so Mason has no dance partner"

"I did not know that" I said.

She nodded.

"It won't be hard finding him a dance partner since he's a sweetheart and can dance incredible"

I smiled.

"Reminds me a bit of Dave"

I nodded and she looked at the crowd of freshman

"Yeah, just wake me up and I'll go with you"

I nodded and she reached for her hairband to pull her hair up in a bun.

"Just a few more hours" I told her.

She made a face and fanned herself a bit with a piece of cardboard.

"Did you bring another shirt?"

I nodded.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

My skin was incredibly sensitive, and it rashed up when I stressed or when my skin didn't like the fabric of my clothing. My mom has ezcema and she gave it to all her children. In my opinion it's easier for a guy to have ezcema since they can wear less clothing and still not be called names. The material of the shirt Orientation Leaders were required to wear gave me an allergic reaction. I ended up having to have to wear a badge saying I was an orientation leader because I felt like my skin was going to fall off. I got home, and my mom washed it.

"Let's eat somewhere before we drive up to LA"

I nodded.

"Yea, sounds good" I told her.

She smiled.

"Have you talked with Olivia?"

I nodded.

"I talked with her Sunday night" I said.

"What is she up to?"

I set the boxes into the recycling bin and looked at her.
