Katalina's POV- May 2016

"You just tell me when you want to leave, and we will be on our way"

"Ok" I said.

Mike turned to me and pointed at me.

"As long as it's before 7pm because I have a flight to catch and you have to drive down to San Diego"

I smiled and nodded.

"Is it just going to be him?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"I think 2 of his teammates are with him"

"Is this too much?" I asked him.

"You look beautiful, he'd be an idiot to not think so"

He fixed my necklace and looked at me. I laughed when he let out a groan.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"My heart hurts introducing you to a guy, stop talking"

I laughed.

"Then why are you doing it?" I asked.

Mike smiled as let out a deep breath as he put his hands on both my shoulders.

"He's a good dude, and you deserve to be happy. I know this guy, so I know he is nothing like the Swede"

I nodded and he smiled.

"We could go home if you want"

I shook my head.

"No, that's just rude" I told him.

He squeezed my shoulders and smiled.

"That and we've been spotted"

I looked at him and turned around. Mike waved at the window where 3 guys were looking at us through.

"Fuck"

I looked at him.

"What?" I asked.

"I left my phone in the car"

I sighed and dug into my purse. I handed him my keys and he jogged over to my car. He closed the car door and made his way over.

"You good?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded.

"Of course"

We made our way to the entrance of the restaurant and Mike smiled at the lady in the front.

"I see our group"

She smiled and nodded. Mike signaled for me to follow him and I took a deep breath as I followed him.

"Hey, sorry we're late. I forgot my phone in the car"

A chuckle was heard.

"Corey here thought you were running away"

Mike chuckled and shook the guys' hand.

"Nah, you guys saw us so it was to late to run. I'm Mike"

The guy who introduced himself as Joc laughed and nodded. I made eye contact with another guy and smiled.

"Hey, I'm Trayce"

I shook his hand.

"Kat" I said.

He nodded.

"Nice to meet you, this is Corey"

I turned and smiled as Mike moved behind me to introduce himself to Trayce.
