Twenty Five

Katalina's POV- July 2016

David smiled as Corey and I approached the table he was seated in.

"Long time no see guys"

Corey laughed and set our plates down on the table. They had seen each other right before the game. David and I had gone to the game together, but David drove back on his own and I came with Corey.

"I'm going to get something to drink, what do you want to drink?" I asked Corey.

He looked at me.

"What's there to drink?"

"Raspberry lemonade, Coke, Sprite, there's beer as well" I said.

He sat down and looked at David who chuckled.

"Just bring him a beer Kit"

I nodded and squeezed Corey's shoulder before making my way over to where the drinks were. I smiled at Mike as I approached him. He was pouring tequila into a cocktail shaker.

"Taking advantage of my bartending skills"

Martin laughed and took a sip of his beer. Mike raised an eyebrow as I grabbed a beer and a cup.

"Uh what do you think you're doing?"

I rolled my eyes and filled the cup with raspberry lemonade.

"The beer is for Corey" I told him.

Mike hummed and nodded.

"I'll allow that"

I took a sip of my drink and nodded.

"Hand it over so I could open it"

I handed him the beer and he reached for his bottle opener. He handed me the opened beer and smiled.

"You're too young to drink"

I just rolled my eyes.

"Go eat, I'll be there in a minute once I finish with this"

I nodded and smiled at Alex and Martin as I walked away from them. I set the cup down and handed Corey his beer.

"Thanks"

I smiled and sat down.

"When did Mike get in?"

"Yesterday, he was to lazy to come downstairs this morning" I told Corey.

He nodded and took a sip of his beer.

"Do you drink?"

I smiled.

"Not really" I told him.

He nodded.

"My parents don't like it when I drink in front of family since I'm not 21 yet" I said.

He glanced up as Alex set her cup next to him.

"You must be Corey, it's so nice to meet you"

She shook her head and placed her hand on his shoulder as he tried to stand up.

"You're eating, stay seated.

She sat down and smiled.

"You're Alejandra"

She looked at me and smiled.

"You speak about me?"

I nodded.

"Of course I do" I told her.

She looked at Corey and smiled.

"You don't need to call me by my full name, any nickname to the name Alejandra is fine"
