Justin's P.O.V.
Graduation Day.
It's supposed to be one of the best days of my life. Right now I find it the worst, only because Ariana is still upset with me. My eyes are only on her as she sits three rows ahead of me, wearing her blue cap and gown. Her attention is up on the stage where students are being called to receive their diplomas.
"Magdalena Adams"Mrs. Briar calls out Maggie, Nate's girlfriend. She stands up from her seat and Nate begins to shout for her next to me. People in the crowd clap for her as she walks up the stage to receive her high school diploma. She shakes the hand of Principal Hawkins and a few of the school administrators.
"Nathaniel Brooks"Mrs. Briar calls Nate next and he stands up. I clap for him as he heads to the stage. He dances his way up the stage, making everyone in the auditorium laugh. He accepts his diploma and continues to dance as he shakes Principal Hawkins hand. I roll my eyes as he continues to dance happily off the stage.
"Samantha Baker"Mrs. Briar calls out another student next. Nate finds his seat next to me and sits down.
"Quite a show you put on there"I tell Nate and he chuckles. "What? I can't be happy about finally leaving this place?"He asks and I laugh.
"Peace out High school!"I hear and look up at the stage to see Samantha Barnes flicking off the whole auditorium. All the seniors laugh but the Principal doesn't seem to find it funny as he orders for her to get off the stage immediately.
"Justin Bieber"Mrs. Briar calls my name and I stand up. I hear my mom shouting from my seat and I chuckle. I head to the stage and accept my diploma. My mom comes rushing up to the front of the stage like a maniac to take a picture of me. A few students laugh and I feel embarrassed.
I shake the principal's hand before walking off the stage.
"Let me see!"My mom rushes up to me but I push her away. "Mom, you can't be up here. Go back to your seat. I will show you my diploma later"I tell her and she sighs.
"Fine"She says and kisses my cheek real quick before heading back to her seat with Richard. I spot my dad and his family sitting with him which kinda makes me smile. I'm glad that my father could make it.
"Leana Castro"Mrs. Briar calls out Lea next as I take my seat. Ariana and Lexi both shout for their best friend as she heads up to the stage.
Mrs. Briar calls a few more graduate names to head up to the stage. I pay no attention to any of them as me and Nate make small talk.
"Ariana Grande"Mrs. Briar calls her name which catches my attention to the stage again.
I watch as she stands up and people all around shout for her. She walks up the stage with a huge smile on her face. She looks beautiful and vibrant up on the stage as she accepts her diploma.
She walks off the stage and I can tell that she's trying to avoid my eyes. I sigh when she doesn't look my way and takes a seat.
Mrs. Briar keeps on calling seniors up to the stage to accept their diplomas. Once she finishes, the Principal steps up to the microphone.
"It is now time for our valedictorian to give her speech. Please welcome to the stage, Ariana Grande"Principal Hawkins motions for Ariana to head back onto the stage. Lea and Lexi both stand up and cheer her on.
Ariana steps in front of the podium and fixes the microphone for her comfort.
"Good evening everyone. It is my pleasure to be standing here as your valedictorian for this school year"Ariana greets everyone.
