summary: finally into a few months of dating you Camilo have your first kiss

" Camilo...we need to have a chat.." Pepa says while she smiles at her middle child and sits down next to him. "yes mami?" they said as he feels the bed dips next to him.

" So I was on the computer looking for your sibling's Christmas gifts and um... I saw something very interesting in the search bar" "I swear it's not what it looks like mami" he takes his eyes off his phone and looks at his mother.

" Oh really? because it seems like your trying to make a move on (y/n) at the Christmas party tonight " Pepa says smirking. "okay. maybe it is what it looks like"

The two teens have been dating for almost a year now and still, haven't had their first kiss. it not that they didn't want to, it was just were both too shy to do it. so Camilo being Camilo looked up " how to kiss your partner" on the family computer at 3 am. I mean imagine all the teasing his primas and hermana would do. The would never hear the end of it.

"Awww, hijo, esto es tan hábil!, why didn't you just ask me for help? I would've helped you!" Pepa "because Mami, that so embarrassing to ask" as soon as he said that Camilo heard footsteps, three to be exact.

"I heard everything hermano! and we have a plan to help you" his hermana said while standing in front of the door of his bedroom with Mirabel and Isabela. " ughhh mami see what you did?" Camilo groans and falls back into his bed dramatically hoping it would swallow him up so he wouldn't have to hear this is.

"hehehe, sorry baby, but i think this is a great idea! whats your plan delores?"

the plan was simple at the ( L/n) Christmas party, you two would kiss under the mistletoe which Isabela will bring. all they have to do is make sure you both get under the mistletoe without any interruptions, seems easy right?...right?

" You guys made it! come in my parents are in the kitchen" you say as you see the whole madrigal family standing outside of your house. you move the side to let them in. " hello mi Amor!, I got you a gift" Camilo smiles and gives you the gift while the rest of the family walks inside to the kitchen to greet your family and other members at the party that they knew.

" Awww Cami you shouldn't have, I thought we were giving each other our presents on Christmas" you look down and the present with a smile. "nonsense I wanted to give a gift because I love you, and your real Christmas gift isn't"

"Aw mi amor thank you so much, come on let's go to my room," you say as you take theyre hand to guide him to your bedroom. while going up the stairs his sister and primas gave them a wink and thumbs up.

while the two of you went upstairs to your room, it was the other's turn to do their part of the plan. but one thing lead to another and now both families know about the plan or long story short Dolores couldn't keep it a secret anymore she was just too excited.

It was a little later and now the plan was finally in motion. You and Camilo were walking down the stairs to go to your dining room to say hi to the guest and see your family. But then Camilo saw from the side of their eye where his sister and Isabela were currently setting up the mistletoe by the front door, not wanting you to see he grabs your arm and twirls you around to face him " ah mi amor you look so Beautiful today you know that? hey is that music I hear? we should dance before we eat dinner okay?" he said with an awkward smile and giggle before taking you into the living room dance.

You didn't question it thought, you and Camilo always dances together when your favorite songs came on so it wasnt anything suspicious... except for the stuttering

Finally after 30 minutes of dance, and begging Camilo to take a break because your feet hurt, you two finally made it to the kitchen to eat it was getting closer and closer to the end of the Christmas party and you too still haven't made your way up to the mistletoe yet.

"ugh, I'm full I can't even move," Camilo says and closes the front door. The two of you came outside for a little private time which Camilo thought was a great idea.

"I know me too," you say as you sit down on the steps of your house and lay your head on his shoulder. "do you still have the presence with you mi amor? I think it would be a great time to open it now" they say as he put his arm on your shoulder. " ooh I should go get it, ill be back" you kiss his cheek then go get the present.

"This is it, you got this Camilo, you can do this" Camilo mumbles to himself trying to call their nerves after you leave. he looks up, spotting the mistletoe, and smiles...he finally pulled himself together ready for the big moment.

"Im back, hope you didn't miss me too much" you sang out with a little giggle and with the small present in your hands. "you know every time we're apart I cant but to miss your presence mi Vida" he smiles up at you and says while you blush.

"Cmon and sit, I wanna see your reaction when you open it," they say with the biggest grin on their face, you have never seen them this excited for something. " okay okay, be patient mi Amor," you say with a laugh while you sit down next to him.

Watching you untie the pretty gold ribbon, then watching you unwrap the red wrapping paper with gold details, he was sitting there the whole time..with a relaxed smile on his face. his hands were sweaty because of what was about to happen in a few but he wasn't worried about that at the moment.

He was finally relaxed, after stressing for a whole week about perfect gifts one for Christmas and one for this moment, then practicing his speech in the mirror over and over again, checking his breath, making sure his hair was perfect, and making sure everything goes to plan, he was finally relaxed watching you with a big smile on you face as you lift the top on the small box that had a ring in it.

It was a promise ring. with both of your initials carved on the inside of it.

"Camilo...this is Beautiful thank you so much mi Amor," you said but it kinda sounded muffled because you hugged him so quickly when you saw the promise ring.

He pulled you two apart and said " Mi Amor, I want you to know that I love you, with all my heart, and I'm so grateful and lucky to be your partner" he licked his lips one final time before he kissed you under the mistletoe.

finally, after dating for almost a year you both can say, you finally had your first kiss.
