I couldn't help but laugh at what she said to Dom. When she walked over to me I smiled.

"I'm sorry that's Dom and well he calls everyone cutie."

"Well, I'm not his cutie. Sorry, I'm late I forgot I had a baby appointment this morning." She said.

"It's ok I just finished with a small tat. Let's go back to my office so that I can unlock the book for you and you can stay back here if you wish and just come get me if you have a question." I said.

"Thanks but I should be ok. I'll write down the discrepancies and we can go over it later." She said.

I walk behind her to the office and once she sits down I unlock the drawer and get out the book and then I find her a pen and some paper.

"I have my own pen and sticky notes." She grins.

"Fine don't use mine." I laugh.

I saw a lot of errors yesterday but I'm going to start from the beginning again." She said.

"Sounds good. I got a little bit of time before my next client arrives so I'll stay in here with you if you don't mind." I said.

"It's your office, Kash." She laughs.

"So umm how was the doctor's appointment?" I asked.

"It was good. The baby is doing great and getting bigger. I have one month left to go if that." She said.

"Did you get one of those picture thingy's?" I laugh.

"A sonogram? Yeah, I did." She smiled.

"Can I see it? Or is that too personal?" I ask.

"No, you can see it." She said getting it out of her purse handing it to me.

"Oh wow! Never seen one of these but I can tell whats the head and wait is that a penis?" I laugh.

"No, they didn't give me any with the sex because I don't want to know." She laughed.

"Oh, maybe that's its arm." I laugh looking at it harder before handing it back.

Dom hollered that my client was waiting. "Well, I got to get out there holler if you need me," I said walking out and up the hallway.

Dom walked over and smirked. "Did you fuck the pregnant chick?"

"No man what's wrong with you? She's a friend of mine." I said.

"Oh, sure she is." He winks.

"I'm serious Dom I met her in a meeting. She just lost her baby daddy two months ago. She's really a nice person and I'm happy she's my friend." I said setting my station up.

"So I can hit on her then?" He smirked.

"Yeah, I doubt she will go for that. She didn't like you calling her cutie." I laughed as I walked to call the guy back.

I finished his leg tat and washed up and went back to my office to find Navy deep into the books writing stuff down.

"How's it going?" I ask her.

"Kash it's awful. Whoever did your books before stole a lot of money from you and I haven't even gotten through most of it.

"For real?" I ask.

"Yeah come look." She said pointing out what she had written down and in a month he stole six thousand dollars.

"Fuck! I may have to sue his ass huh?" I said looking at her.

"Umm if this is in one month yeah you may have to because it could be a lot more." She said.

"I'm sorry I cussed. I had a feeling that he was up to something." I said.

"Kash I'm not opposed to cussing. Plus I don't have the baby yet." She laughed.

"Would you like to go across the road to the diner? Lunch is on me." I said.

"Sure but lock this back up first." She said.

We headed back up front and Dom walked in front of us. "Umm, I'm sorry I seemed like a douche earlier. I'm really a nice guy. My name is Dom." He said.

"Nice to meet you, Dom. I'm Navy but please never call me cutie again." She laughed.

"You got it. Where are you guys headed?" He asked.

"Going to get lunch. Want me to bring you a burger back?" I ask.

"Yeah, that would be nice boss." He smiled.

I gently got Navy by the arm and lead her across the street and when Patty saw us she smiled. "The usual kids?" She asked.

"Yeah for me and wait same you had the other day Navy?" I asked.

"Yeah same for me too please." She smiled.

We go and find us a booth to sit in and Navy struggles to sit in the booth with her big belly.

"Wow, I barely fit." She laughed.

I couldn't help but laugh at the face she made. "It's all good you are eating for two."

"I could go into labor anytime now and I don't even know how to get to the hospital." She said.

"Well call me and I can get you there in a hurry," I smirked.

"Not on your bike I hope." I laugh.

Patty brings our food out and we are in the middle of eating when a guy walks up to our table. "Wow, Kash didn't know you knocked anyone up." He laughed.

"What do you want Billy?" I ask.

"Nothing just saw you over here with this wide load and thought I would say hi." He said.

"Excuse me! What did you call me?" Navy said putting her onion ring down.

"You heard me." He smirked.

"I'm pregnant you dumbass and I could eat you if you don't step away from the table." She said.

"You heard the lady go away Billy and who talks like that to a lady? Were you raised in a barn you asswipe?" I said.

"Geez chill it was just a joke. You don't have to be so protective of your baby mama." He said raising up his hands and walking off.

"I'm sorry about that. That's Billy the town bully who's miserable as fuck." I said.

"Yeah, I can see that. Thanks for taking up for me though." She smiles.

"For some reason, I think you can take care of yourself Navy." I smile.
