[Rose POV]
The Wayne Manor
-The Bat Cave-
"Miss Rose!", I heard Alfred exclaiming my name as I fell down on the floor on my knees with my head bend down.
Alfred ran towards me, dropping the tray of food on the floor.
"What wrong with me, Alfred?", I mumbled, sobbing.
I lifted my head and met his gaze as he ran up with his arms wide open and hugded me. I burried my face in his shoulder.
My head was spinning and my body was shaking from head to toe. Tears were faling from my eyes.
"You're afraid of something bad happened to Master Bruce", Alfred explained.
I was waiting for Bruce to come in his cave when I heard gunshots and Alfred calling him over his secure line, looking closely at screens and hearing no response from his side, I thought he died.
It took him five long minutes to answer on Alfred's calls.
"Hearing gunshots has reminded you of your parents death", Alfred added.
"Let me help you clean yourself up before Master Bruce comes home", Alfred offered giving me his hand to hold on and I've accepted.
I nodded my head and Alfred help me stood on my two feet again.
"I'm sorry, It's my fault. I'll clean it", I looked down at the mess I've caused feeling guilty. Food was everywhere on the floor. Alfred dropped the tray because of me.
"Nonsense. I'll will clean it later. Let's take care of you first", Alfred suggested.
I couldn't disagree, I knew Alfred wouldn't allow me.
Alfred followed me to the bathroom in the ground floor. He stood on the doorway and kept his eyes close on me. I went to the sink and let the water run. I washed my hands first then face. I saw myself in the mirror, I was horrified.
I don't want him to see me like this.
"I can't see him like this. I'm going to rest in my room", I admitted to Alfred.
"I'll tell him you're asleep", I Alfred suggested.
"Thank you, Alfred", I said gratefully.
Alfred nodded.

The Wayne Manor
-The Bat Cave-
"Where is Rose?", Master Bruce asked me as soon as he got out of the batmobile. He always asked about her first before saying anything else.
"She's upstairs, probably sleeping, sir", I replied trying to sound as convincing as possible.
"How was your night, sir?", I glanced at his torn cape and his batsuit looked irreparably damaged.
"I think I need a new suit", Master Bruce stated.
"I'll call Mister Fox early in the morning", I suggested.
Master Bruce agreed and went behind to change and take a shower leaving me alone in his batcave.
I remembered that I forgot to pick up food from the floor and clean the room.
"What happened here, Alfred?", Master Bruce surprised me from behind. He glanced down over food on the floor rubbing his wet hair with a towel, shirtless. Miss Rose would like this.
"I had an accident. And Miss Rose--", I didn't have time to finish my sentence, Master Bruce interrupted me.
"Rose was here?", Master Bruce asked.
"Yes, Miss Rose waited for you", I replied.
"It was your dinner, sir", I added.
I have prepared dinner for them earlier this evening. I don't know why I'm still bothering since neither of them has a habit of having dinner.
"I'm not hungry", Master Bruce replied the same as usual.
I believed Master Bruce had something different in mind in term of dinner.
I cleared my throat.
"What's wrong, Alfred?", Master Bruce gave me a piercing glance.
"It's about Miss Rose", I replied. "Something happened this evening", I added.
"WHAT HAPPENED?", Master Bruce raised his voice.
I failed him. I promise I kept an eye on her while he's away.
"Nothing serious, sir. I mean, Miss Rose isn't harmed", I replied fast. "Miss Rose heard gunshots and--", I continued.
"I'm going upstairs", Master Bruce marshed out the cave.

The Wayne Manor
-Bruce's bedroom-
The sound of something heavy crashing on the bed woke me from a dream.
Bruce was usually very careful not to wake me up when he came back late from his "night work".
I pretended to sleep. I kept my eyes closed and my back turned.
"I know you're awake", Bruce said quietly. I sensed worry in his voice. Alfred must have told him.
"Come here", Bruce added. I obeyed.
I leaned next to his half naked body, placed my head and putted my hand on his firmly chest as he wrapped his arm around me.
I loved listening to his heartbeat. It reminded me: his heart beats only for me.
"Rough night?", I asked him staring at his beautiful blue eyes I adored.
He seemed some kind of distant but still present at the same time.
I breathed loud his scent. It was scent of my home.
"Something like that", Bruce replied with a grin then his face became serious. "Alfred told me", he added.
"It was nothing", I mumbled.
He glanced down at me, meeting my gaze. He sighed loudly.
I came on top of him, staring at his eyes. "You can't protect me from everything", I added and gave him the tap kiss. It made him smile.
He gently moved my hair from my face. I didn't notice how long is my hair until now. I definitely need a haircut. He won't like that.
He wrapped his arms tightly around my back. I chuckled the moment he firmly pulled my body against his, his face in front of mine.
"I have to try", Bruce said firmly.
"Bruce", I brushed his lips with mine, staring at his eyes.
"I'm hungry", Bruce announced, I smiled.
"I can go downstairs and prepare you something to eat", I gladly offered. Although, I wasn't sure would Alfred like that: seeing me in the kitchen preparing food for Bruce.
"It's not the food I crave for", Bruce gazed straight into my eyes, I swallowed hard in fear and desire.
[Alfred POV]
In front of Master Bruce's bedroom
I felt urge to apologize Master Bruce for not taking good care of Miss Rose while he was away. I went upstairs and headed straight to his room.
I was about to knock when I heard noises coming from inside of Master Bruce's bedroom. I heard very clearly Miss Rose's voice addressing Master Bruce by his name and telling him that she loves him and can not leave without him. She mentioned the sun, the stars, the moon. Her words addressed to him sounded like poetry and they melted my heart. I was sure Master Bruce's heart wasn't indifferent neither.
I don't know how long I've stayed there. The sounds of Miss Rose's loud moans woke me up from thinking. It was a clear sign for me to walk away.
