The day has finally come. Everyone is very busy, preparing for tonight's Ball. The boys finished grooming early, so most of them waited for their dates outside the hall. The girls, on the other hand, are still on their dormitories, of course, holding brushes and powders on their hands to make themselves beautiful.
"Pansy, stay still." Tracey straighten up Pansy's moving head.
"Daphne, what the bloody hell?! That's too much blush!" Pansy told Daphne who was applying it of her face.
"P, this is less." Daphne replied. "They'll eventually fade you know."
"Just stop, please." Pansy told her to go away. "I don't need it that much, thank you very much."
"Alright, alright.. You're done then. Go put your dress on now." Daphne said.
"Alright." Pansy said. "Millie, I need your help."
"Sure, I'm all done anyway." Millicent replied.
"You done, (y/n)?" Tracey asked while fixing her hair and make up. Her dress was already on.
"Yeah. I just need to put on lipstick. Choose one.. Red or this nude colour, for my black dress. What do you reckon?" (y/n) said.
"How 'bout this rose one." Tracey gave her. "It's not to dark, It's not to light. It'll match your cheeks."
"Alright." (y/n) put the lipstick on and finished her look. Now, she walked over to her dress to change. "How the heck would this fit me? I mean.. How do you work this out?"
Pansy laughed "Here, let me help." She walked over to (y/n) and showed her how to put it on.
Once (y/n) have change. She walked over to her bed and opened another box.
"Holy fudge! Damn, those gold snake accessories!" Tracey said.
"I know.. Mrs Malfoy sent them just this morning." (y/n) wore the accessories.
"Mamma mia!!" Pansy shrieked.
"What?" (y/n) asked. Isn't this too much?"
"It's perfect!!" Tracey said.
"For sure?" she asked.
"Yes, you look amazing, hon." Daphne said.
"Lovely, gorgeous, you name it." Millicent said.
"Thank you, guys." she smiled.
"Well.. If everyone's ready, let's go!" Tracey excitedly said.
After preparing, the girls went out and go to the venue. Before they could even go down the stairs, (y/n) hid behind the wall as soon as she saw a lot of people, outside the great hall.
"Seriously?" said Tracey. "How can someone badass like you chicken out right now."
"Because.. this isn't my thing." (y/n) replied.
Luna Lovegood, who was passing by, stopped to look at (y/n). "Hello, (y/n) (y/l/n). You look very beautiful tonight." she smiled, then she left.
"See what I mean!" Tracey said.
"Maybe you guys can go.. We'll catch up." Pansy said.
"Well, ok.. see you two around." Tracey said then left with Daphne and Millicent.
Pansy gave (y/n) a look.
"What?" (y/n) said.
"What are you nervous really of?" Pansy asked.
"Oh.. Tracey was right." (y/n) strongly replied. *sigh* "You know how I feel uncomfortable being stared at by a lot of people. Damn, what was Mrs Malfoy thinking?"
"You'll be fine. Remember what Hermione said..?" Pansy reminded.
"You're right.." she sighed.
"So.. come on.. The boys are probably waiting." Pansy tapped her shoulders and dragged her to the stairs. "Oh, McGonagall's asking people to come in. There's only few people left outside now."
Meanwhile, the boys who was waiting noticed the two coming down. Draco looked at (y/n) with a dropped jaw, too amazed by her beauty. He watches her as she walked down the stairs, carefully, with grace. Soon, she reaches floor and walked over to him. Draco was so breathless.
"Well..?" (y/n) said.
"Y-You look.. ah.. very.. beautiful, and.." Draco walked over her then suddenly pulled her closer to his body to hide her inside his dress robes, "too.. much."
"God.. do you plan to cover me the whole night?"
"Oh, there you are, Miss (y/l/n)." McGonagall walked towards them. "Wh-Why are you inside Mr Malfoy's coat?" she asked.
She quickly got out from Draco. "Oh.. ahh.."
"Nevermind that. Are you and Mr Malfoy ready?" McGonagall asked.
"Ready, Professor?" (y/n) asked.
"To dance. It's traditional that the three champions is the first to dance. Surely I've told you that?" McGonagall explained.
"Ah yes. I remember."
"Brilliant. As for you, Miss Parkinson, you may proceed to the Great Hall with Mr Crabbe." McGonagall told them. "Oh, there you are." she walked over to Fleur.
"We'll see you guys inside." Pansy said then left with Crabbe.
(y/n) and Draco walked to Fleur Delacour and Roger Davis, and soon Viktor Krum came with his partner Hermione Granger.
"Hermione, you look absolutely beautiful." (y/n) said.
"Thank you. And you.. you're stunning!" Hermione replied.
"Thank you." she smiled. "So.. Krum huh?" (y/n) whispered.
"I know.." Hermione had the butterflies. "Ron, asked too late. I mean, he even offended me. I'm glad I said yes to Viktor though. Well, I just couldn't reject him too, he's a very nice man." Hermione whispered back. "But.. Did Ron actually got a date?"
"Yeah, he took Lavender." (y/n) replied. "The girl was clingy and he doesn't have a choice."
McGonagall walked over to the champions. "Now, I want you all to line up for the procession, please."
Fleur and Roger are the first in line, followed by Viktor and Hermione, then (y/n) and Draco. All the students went in and the six remains outside, behind the looked door. When the time has come, the door opened and then fanfare played. The champions along with their partners entered and walked through lined clapping students, giving them way to the dance floor.
(y/n) looked around and the Great Hall looks absolutely different. It's like as if it's winter inside. The halls decorated beautifully and the aesthetic would just leave you breathless.
The champions made it to the dance floor and got into their positions for the dance.
"Fudge.." (y/n) muttered as she felt so many eyes on her.
"Don't worry, I would take off their eyeballs from their eye sockets.." Draco said. "But.. if you worry too much. Don't look at them.. Look at my eyes, only." he grin that made her smile.
Professor Flitwick tapped his baton, then the Orchestra began to play. The champions and their partners danced along to the music. Moments later, Dumbledore and McGonagall joined them on the floor. Few teachers, as well as students, gradually joined too until everyone was dancing.
After the Orchestra, a band called 'The Weird Sisters' went up the stage and played their famous eletro song, 'Do the Hippogriff'. Everyone went crazy as they dance to the music.
The next song they played was called 'This is the Night'. And while playing that song, everyone started eating and having drinks after a wild dance. Some have actually went back to their dormitories after refreshing, or went somewhere romantic for two people. Other went back to the dance floor for a slow dance
(y/n) and Draco were sitting at a table, then suddenly they were interrupted by Professor McGonagall. "Miss (y/l/n), you're next to this song." she said.
"Ahh.. yes." (y/n) replied.
"Wait, you're singing again?" Draco asked.
"Yes, love." she smiled then left.
McGonagall assisted her to go to the stage, and once the song finished, (y/n) walked over to the mic.
"'Crazy for You', aye?" the vocalist who was singing earlier asked.
"Yeah.." (y/n) replied.
"I see.. I actually had a thing with Madonna before.." the man said. "Too amazing for a muggle."
"What?"
"What?" he pretended to ask too, then chuckled.
The music began. Before she start singing, (y/n) made an intro while the music was playing.
"Good evening, everyone. Well.. I hope y'all are having a great night. And of course ahm.. I dedicate this song to my love.." (y/n) winked at him. "Draco Malfoy."

(y/n) kissed Draco in his nose and smiled widely.
"God, you're so beautiful." Draco's heart started too beat fast. "I wish—" he stopped himself.
She was confused and asked what he was trying to say. "What was that?"
Draco clenched his fist as he tried to avoid looking at her body. His eyes remained on hers. "Nevermind." he smiled.
Suddenly, the moment was interrupted when someone from the stage spoke saying, " Can we please have the microphone back please?"
(y/n) remembered, then she went to the stage to deliver the mic. The vocalist apologised for interrupting but they just needed that mic for their next song. She went back to Draco after.
"Any plans for tonight?" (y/n) asked as she rubbed her hand to keep it warm.
If Draco's gonna be honest, he'd like to take her to the Astronomy tower to star gaze, but he noticed she was cold plus it must be snowing outside. So he decided to change the idea. "I know this is gonna sound boring. I did have a plan but it's very cold tonight. So.. Do you wanna maybe chill at the common room's fireplace? I'll go to the kitchen and make hot chocolate if you want too?"
"That'll be nice." she smiled.
As planned, the two sat down the rug, infront of their common room's fireplace. They were the only ones there as the lower years are now mostly likely asleep and the others must still be partying and went somewhere else.
The two have a big blanket around them to feel more cozy as they drink their hot chocolate. (y/n) have removed her shoes and stretched her feet out to near the fire. Coal cuddle along, as well.
"Ahhh.. This feels so nice." (y/n) leaned her head on his shoulders.
"By the way.." Draco pulled out something from his back. "Happy Christmas." he said as he hand in a decorated jar with Exploding Bonbons inside. "I know you like sweets, specifically Exploding Bonbons — It's not much but you know.."
"Are you kidding me? I love it! That's so sweet of you, love. Thank you." (y/n) hugged him. " But Draco.. I didn't had a chance to prepare something for you." she frowned.
"Don't worry. I'm already satisfied just us being here, together, cuddling. I like it when you're happy." he replied.
"Awww.." (y/n) hugged him tighter.

It honestly took a while to kinda like write the ending of this chapter. I had ideas but im like nope. nah-uh. Took a month tbh so i just write whatever. But the ending seem ok i guess. Let's not get into steamy stuff yet.
