Being Sonya's best friend and seeing her for the first time since the Maze..
"Aris? Y/N?"
I turn around slowly when I hear a familiar voice. My mouth falls open. "Sonya!?"
She slowly pulls down the scarf covering her mouth. "Oh, my God! You're alive!"
She tugs me into a hug, and I wrap my arms around her neck. "How? How are you here?"
She pulls back, a smile on her face and wide eyes. "Come on. We'll show you."
She pulls Aris into a hug, then Harriet and I do the same. She gestures for us to follow her afterward. As we start walking, Thomas taps me on the shoulder. "How do you know her?"
"It's Sonya. We were in the Maze together. She's my best friend."
I speed up slightly to walk beside Sonya. I slip my arm through hers so that we link. She grins at me. "I've missed you."
"You too."
