After the exam Randhir directly went to Sanyukta's house. She was surprised and looked at him confusingly when he said.
"Shocked hone ki jarurat nehi hain tumhara luggage lene aaya hu." He said looking at her when she nodded a yes. They both entered at the house, Anju and Kishor both were happy.
"Sanyu!" Anju hugged her lovingly.
"Kaal Renuka ji ka call aaya tha, unhone sab bataya mujhe, aab kaisi hain tu?" Anju asked thus Sanyukta nodded positively.
"Maa main aapna luggage lene aaya hu." Sanyukta said.
"Aare tune aaisi halat mein kyu taqlif uthayi, main shaam ko Ankit ki haato bhejne wali thi." Anju said surprisingly.
"It's okay, main le leti hu." Sanyukta said and went towards her room.
"Aare beta baitho na, main Sanyu ki help karke aati hu." Anju said when Randhir smiled a little.
Anju came to Sanyukta's room and saw her doing unpacking.
"Aare aare sab nikal kyu rahi hain, maine toh subha hi sab kuch pack kar diya tha?" Anju asked confusingly.
"Bass kuch kapde aur jaruri saman lene aayi thi inn 9 mahine ke liye." She replied slowly.
"9 mahine ke liye, matlab?" Anju asked confusingly.
"Aab mera aur Randhir ka rishta sirf 9 mahino ka hain, usske baad hum aalag hone wale hain." Sanyukta replied thus Anju got shocked.
"Keya!" She sat on the bed with a thud.
"Haan in fact hum kaal lawyer se mile vi thay. Wo divorce papers ready kar rahe hain, jaldi hi hum divorce papers par sign kar denge." Sanyukta said slowly.
"Aur bachcha, wo kiske pass rahega?" Anju asked slowly.
"Bachche ki custody mere pass hoga maa." Randhir said from the door when Sanyukta got numb.
"Keya, tumhare pass!" Anju got shocked again.
"Sanyu yeh keya pagalpan hain! Shaadi, bachcha yeh sab mazak lagta hain tujhe?" Anju asked angrily.
"Maa yeh mera final decision hain." Sanyukta said sternly.
"Randhir issko please samjhau, rishta aaise nehi todte!" Anju said worriedly.
"Rishta, I'm sorry maa but Sanyukta ne kabhi vi humhari rishte ko seriously nehi liya!" Randhir said sternly.
"Jaise tumne isse bahut seriously liya, tumhare liye toh yeh shaadi sirf ek khel hain." Sanyukta replied bitterly.
"But maine at least tumhari tarha aapne bachche ko marne ka nehi socha na!" He countered back. Listing this Anju got shocked.
"Keya bol rahe ho tum beta, Sanyu aapne bachche ko..." She stopped in middle.
"Haan issi liye main Sanyukta ko yeh divorce de raha hu maa, usse divorce chahiye aur mujhe mera baby." Randhir replied slowly when Anju froze there. Sanyukta was unpacking when Anju said.
"Kuch vi unpack karne ki jarurat nehi hain Sanyu, suitcase jaisa hain waisa hi leke chali ja." Anju said coldly.
"But maa mujhe saara saman nehi chahiye, jab ghar wapas aayungi..."
"Aab wohi tera ghar hain Sanyu, yeh nehi." Anju said slowly yet steadily.
"Lekin maa yeh mere ghar hain." Sanyukta said surprisingly.
"Yeh tera ghar tha Sanyu, aab nehi hain. Iss ghar ka darwaja tere liye sirf aur sirf tab khulenge jab tu yeha aapne pati ki saath aayegi, warna nehi." Anju said firmly thus Sanyukta's eyes got moist.
"Maa I don't want to interfere but I want to say one thing. Yeh shaadi Sanyukta ki marzi ke khilaf huyi hain toh aagar wo divorce leke aalag hona chahati hain toh mujhe koi problem nehi hain, I just want my baby in my arms, after that Sanyukta will free to do anything." Randhir said slowly when Anju looked at him blankly.
"Sanyukta you go and sit inside the car I'm taking your luggage along with me." Randhir said to Sanyukta when she was stood there like a statue.
"Can't you hear me?" Randhir said firmly this time thus Sanyukta looked at him helplessly.
"Go get into the car." He said again when Sanyukta left the room after looking at her mother once.
"Maa don't worry, yeh 9 mahina main Sanyukta ka pura dhyan rakhunga." Randhir said slowly.
"Aur uske baad, uske baad koyn dhyan rakhega uska?" Anju looked at him helplessly when Randhir lowered his lashes.
"Beta please Sanyu ko divorce mat do, uske papa ko dil ki bimari hain, doctor ne kaha hain ke koi stress na lene ko, aagar unhen iss divorce ke ware mein pata chal geya toh wo bardast nehi kar payenge." Her voice broke.
"Maa Sanyukta want this divorce otherwise she will definitely kill my baby and I want my baby at any cost. Aur aagar wo keemat divorce hain toh main wo vi usse dene ke liye ready hu." Randhir said firmly thus Anju was speechless.
"I'm sorry for disappointing you maa but this is the only way left I think." Randhir said slowly and left when Anju sit there numb.
Randhir came to the car and put Sanyukta's suitcase in the car and starts the engine. Sanyukta was sitting numb when Randhir stole some glances of her and found her crying silently.
"Don't cry Sanyukta, it will be effect on the baby." He said offering her his hanky when she looked away.
Soon they reached at the mansion and Sanyukta directly went to the room without sharing any words to anyone. Randhir also came to their room and saw her crying continuously.
"Sanyukta stop it now, continuous crying at this stage is not good for the baby." He said gently when Sanyukta looked at her angrily.
"Stop interfering in my life every time Randhir. I have my own life too." She was angry by his time to time interference. Whatever she wished to do, wished to eat, he never allowed. Then what the hell was she supposed to do? Randhir caught her arm and pulled her close but gently.
"You have a life of your own Sanyukta, but this life now belongs to two more people connected to you. One the baby which is inside you, wants utmost care and love from you all the time. And second me your husband and the father of this child too. You may not like my interference all the time but you don't leave a chance to make me do so. Why do I always have to remind you to be careful with this pregnancy? Why can't you be careful?" Randhir said when Sanyukta pushed him hard in anger.
"Because this pregnancy was not my choice. You forced me for it, you take an advantage of my situation that night Randhir, how can you forgot that! And now you came to tell me what is wrong and what is right for me! It's very easy for you to keep telling what should I do and what not. But think from my side someday Randhir that what I'm facing since our marriage! You snatched every precious thing from me including my virginity Randhir. How could you forgot that so easily? And now you always taunted me for taking care of the baby. You don't leave a chance to hurting me at this time too Randhir. I felt I'm in the Hell. I felt like I can't take breath properly, just leave me alone for sometimes." She said angrily when Randhir was shocked to saw her like this. Why she behaving like this. Sometimes before she was crying in depression and now she was shouting in anger.
Sanyukta didn't know why she was behaving so rude these days. No doubt she hated him from the core of her heart but she knew his concerns weren't wrong too. He just wanted his baby safe and sound and her wish is same as his. She too wanted the baby safe then what's the problem! Maybe it's her mood swings which turned her little more frustrated these days. She was waiting for his reply but when she didn't get that she turned around and saw him stood there looking at her surprisingly. She also got surprised.
"What?" She raised her brows when he nodded a no.
"Sorry." He said slowly and left the room next.
Randhir came out from their room, he was confused to saw Sanyukta's behavior. Is this her mood swings told by Ragini! He was lost in his thoughts when he bumped with Ragini.
"Ouch... be careful Randhir." Ragini said.
"Ohh I'm sorry di." He said absentmindedly.
"What happened Randhir, you look so lost?" Ragini asked confusingly.
"Umm... wo di Sanyukta." He was hesitated.
"What happened to her, are you did something wrong again?" Ragini asked worriedly.
"Why I did something wrong with her which can harm her as well as my child too! She is behaving weird with me that's why I said." Randhir said irritatingly.
"Randhir she is pregnant now, it's her mood swings I think, that's why she must behaving like this." Ragini said.
"Di can you please stay with her for sometime, main jayunga toh fight karegi mujhse and I don't want that, it will be effect on the baby." He said slowly.
"Jitna worried tum baby ke liye ho kash utna hi worried tum Sanyukta ke liye vi hote!" Ragini said and went when Randhir also left.
Ragini came to the room and saw Sanyukta was looking outside through the window.
"Sanyukta?" Ragini called her thus she turned around.
"How are you now?" Ragini asked when Sanyukta smiled a little.
"I'm fine di, aap baithiye." She said slowly.
"Ohh come on Sanyukta, mujhse keya formality, now let's go for lunch." She said casually.
"No di bhukh nehi hain." She pouted.
"Sanyukta please aapne health ko ignore mat karo, you are not alone now, an another life was taking breath inside you, you must take care of the child and to you too." Ragini said with care.
"Bachche ka dhyan rakhne ke liye Randhir hain na, he is doing his duty very well." Sanyukta said sarcastically when Ragini felt bad for her.
"Achchha lunch nehi karna hain but kuch light kha lo otherwise mom will get angry." Ragini changed the topic. Just then Sanyukta remembered about the raw mangoes.
"Ohh di by the way thanks for the mangoes." Sanyukta smiled at her.
"Yeah Randhir told me about mangoes but mujhe nehi Randhir ko hi thanks bolna unn mangoes ke liye. Wohi toh aam todke laya tha tumhare liye." Ragini smiled brightly.
"He didn't get it for me. It was for his baby. Whatever he did was only for the child." Sanyukta said slowly.
"Why are you saying so Sanyukta? He is really worried for you." Ragini said.
"Yeah I know that how much he is worried for me, please di don't fake things in front of me when I know everything about him." Sanyukta said rudely when Ragini was numb.
"I'm sorry di, I don't want to hurt you." Sanyukta apologies next.
"No it's okay Sanyukta, I don't get hurt but am worried for you." She said slowly.
"Don't be worry for me di, I'm fine and I'll be fine. But will you please leave me for sometime?" Sanyukta said thus Ragini nodded and went next.
At night when Randhir came back to their room find Sanyukta on the couch again. Randhir got angry to saw her laying there.
"What the hell Sanyukta, why are you laying on the couch, came to the bed and sleep properly." Randhir said irritatingly.
"I'm comfortable here." Sanyukta replied next thus Randhir's anger raised.
"You must be comfortable there but not my baby, came here and sleep properly." He said angrily.
"No I won't, we are going to divorce Randhir, so I can't sleep with a stranger on a same bed, understand?" She replied angrily.
"Ohh shut up Sanyukta, humara divorce huya nehi hain, so you are legally my wife and am still your husband." Randhir said sternly.
"I don't care what relation we share before the world but within these 4 walls you are the only person responsible for all my problems and I can't stay with you in the same bed. And dare you forced me alike last night." She said angrily.
Randhir knew she wouldn't listening so easily so he just picked her up in his arms with out saying anything farther. She swing her legs in the air to get off when he placed her on the bed.
"I want to sleep with my baby, which means you are sleeping next to me. No more arguments otherwise I'll have to find some other ways to get you on my bed." She had no option now as she understood that he will not allow her to sleep on the couch. Sanyukta didn't say anything and turned around when he put the quilt over her frame.
At night she started blabbering in the sleep as she was seeing a bad dream which made her snuggle towards him not realising she was crossing the boundaries she had created between them.
"Maa....mujhe aapke pass rahena hain, please darwaja kholo. Maa..."
She caught his arm in sleep thus he waking up from his deep slumber. She was shivering and still murmuring the same sentence asking her mother to open the door. Tears rolled from the corner of her eyes as she was crying in her sleep. He wrapped his arms at her back and caressed her to calm her down. She slowly started cooling down and placed her head on his arm snuggling close to him when wrapped her hand on his waist. Tears rolled down from her eyes when he gently wiped them away. He continued soothing her and she getting back to her sleep again.
"Sorry bahut hurt kiya na maine, aabhi vi kar raha hu, but main jo kuch vi kar raha hu tumhare liye kar raha hu Sanyukta. I don't want the baby only I want you back in my life too and this is the only way to get you back." He said in his mind looking at her tears drenched face then placed a kiss on her forehead gently.
Next morning. Randhir and Sanyukta were sleeping peacefully at each other's arms when sun rays came to the window and fall on Sanyukta's face. She slowly open her eyes and yawned lazily. But soon her eyes got widened as she found herself in his embrace.
"Shit....not again." She muttered slowly and about to get up but he was holding her tightly, so she tried to remove his hand when Randhir also get up. He blink his eyes and looked at her. But as soon as his eyes fall on their position he got up with a jerk. Sanyukta also sat up and adjusting her night wears.
"I'm sorry." Randhir said slowly.
Sanyukta looked around and saw that it's she who crossed the boundaries between them then why he said sorry? She thought that. But before she asked something she felt like throwing up suddenly and rushed towards the washroom. Morning sickness was so common for her at this trimester. She came out after sometimes when he was waiting for her.
"Are you okay?" He asked thus she nodded positively.
"Take it." He forwarded a glass of water at her which she take and gulped down next.
"You please take some rest, I'm sending your breakfast at the room." He said slowly and about to go when she said.
"I don't need your favours Randhir, I can take care of myself and the baby too." She replied rudely thus Randhir clenched his jaw.
"Firstly I'm not doing any favour to you, it's my duty to take care of you and as well as the baby too. And one more thing the baby which is inside you is mine and I can't take chances with the health of the baby, so you have to listen my every words instead of ignoring them." Randhir said firmly and dashed towards the washroom when Sanyukta threw the glass in anger.
"Sorry Sanyukta I don't want to spoil your mood at the early morning but I know if I asked anything genuinely you won't do that so I have to be strict with you." Randhir said in mind after came inside to the washroom.
Randhir came out after freshen up but don't found Sanyukta there.
"Yeh ladki meri baat kyu nehi manti?" He sighed and went towards the hall.
He came and sat when his eyes fall on Sanyukta who was sitting in front of him. He glared at her when she gave a winning smirk at him.
After breakfast they leave for the college. As soon as they reached the college Randhir wrapped his hand around her shoulder protectively when the students eyed them.
"Randhir sab dekh rahe hain please aapna haat hatao." Sanyukta said irritatingly.
"I don't care, it's about my baby so I don't be careless so shut up and come." Randhir said when Sanyukta cursed him under her breath. They came to the classroom when Kaustaki and others students were watching them surprisingly.
"Randhir classroon aah geya hain now leave me." She said thus he removed his hand and Sanyukta went to her seat after glaring him once.
The exam was started when Sanyukta felt throwing up again. She covered her mouth with her palm and rushed outside when all got shocked.
"Sanyukta where are you going, Sanyukta listen to me?" The examiner called her but she left.
"Ma'am!" Randhir get up.
"Umm....ma'am wo Sanyukta...Sanyukta is pregnant, that's why." He said hesitantly when all started whispering.
"Silence." Examiner said thus all kept quiet.
"Ohh I see, okay sit down." The examiner said when Sanyukta came in.
"Sanyukta you fine?" The examiner asked thus she nodded.
"Okay, aagar phirse washroom jana ho toh batana." The examiner said when Sanyukta lowered her lashes and nodded a little.
"Ma'am aagar hume toilet jana ho toh?" Yoyo asked suddenly.
"Kyu tum vi pregnant ho?" The examiner asked and the whole class bursted out at laugh.
"Idiot!" Randhir said under his breath.
After exam Kaustaki came to Sanyukta. She was very much eager to know about it.
"Sanyu is it true?" She asked when Sanyukta nodded positively. Kaustaki want to say something when the other students came and started congratulates her.
"Sanyukta exam toh khatam ho geya aab aapne hone wale bachche ki studies par dhyan do." A girl said when Sanyukta forced a smile.
On the way to home Sanyukta was silent. Randhir stole some glances of her but he don't understand why she was silent. It's her hobby to fight with him always then what happened to her suddenly.
"Randhir stop the car. I have something urgent." Sanyukta said suddenly thus he looked at her confusingly.
"What?" He asked surprisingly.
"I said stop the car please." She almost screamed thus he stopped the car when she get down. He too came out and saw her searching something.
"Now what?" He asked confusingly. But instead of replying him she looking here and there as searching for something.
"What happened Sanyukta? Why we stopped here? What's the problem?" He asked angrily.
"Nothing." She replied and take some steps when he caught her wrist.
"What happened, just tell me damn it?" He asked angrily thus she can see that he is furious now.
"Wo....wo Randhir..." She was hesitated.
"Sanyukta I don't have patience now." He said rudely.
"I have to pee. Please find a public toilet it's urgent." She blurted out and looked away feeling embarrassed so was he.
"Umm....haan ghar hi toh jaa rahe hain." He replied not meeting their gaze.
"No Randhir, I can't wait, it's urgent." She said looking at him when he sighed helplessly.
