Alexa's Pov
Championship. I have the championship game today. Pressure is on because I feel like I have to win. If I lose I'm toast.
Coach is going to be extremely mad I don't think my team will like it. No one will like it.
I put my mouth guard in and put on my helmet.
I walked out with my team to see the media taking pictures of me. But I just cracked my knuckles and neck.
I started with the ball. I hit my helmet.
"Set Hike!" I yelled and handed it to Jake. Jake ran a few yards before getting tackled.
"Damn there defense got better." Jake said. I looked at them and I realized it was Russell's team and they smirked at me.
I sighed and hit my helmet. If I lose to them I don't know what I'm gonna do.
"Set Hike!" I yelled. I immediately got tackled.
"Come on Brooks third is the charm!" Coach yelled.
"Set Hike!" I yelled and dashed. No one tackled me. One guy tried to tackle me and I threw my self at him making him fall.
Two guys set up a play where they'd both tackle me and when I got there I slid making them run into each other.
I jumped over two other guys and another one came at me with force but I pushed him. I'm not the nicest quarter back.
I scored though.

It was the last play and it was all tied up.
It was very intense because I knew sophomores hadn't won in two years and I had a lot of pressure. I hit my helmet.
"Come on sis!" Jason yelled. I looked at the crowd and I was scanning and I found the little girl Emily. She held up a poster.
Flash!
I smiled and laughed a bit.
"Set Hike!" I yelled. And they immediately tackled me. We moved back a few yards from the tackle.
I brushed it off though and got up.
"Come on Brooks!" Coach yelled.
"Oh my gosh if I lose." I muttered. Cody gave me the smirk like I'm coming for you.
"Don't let no one punk you on this field!" Coach yelled.
I hit my helmet.
'Run.' Jay mouthed. I've only ran 2 times the whole game. Jay Audrey and Jake have most of the scoring and then one interception by Chris and Christian.
"Set Hike!" I yelled.
I jumped up with the ball and threw it to Audrey. With that basketball skill though.
She smiled and chuckled a bit before jumping up high and catching the ball.
She did a flip and landed in the end zone.
"You did it." I said smiling at Audrey.
"No no no you did it. And you're MVP." Audrey said smiling at me. I smiled at her and hugged her.
"Hey why is all this extra love being exchanged?" Jake and Jay asked at the same time. Creepy. We all laughed.
"Sorry it was us two first. I love Audrey/Alexa more." We said at the same time.
"Meanie." Jay said pouting. I smiled and pecked his lips and he smiled.
"I feel a little better." Jay said smiling. I giggled and I saw Russell come up to me.
"Hey." Russell said.
"Uh hi." I said.
"Um goodbye." Jake snapped.
"Can I talk to Alexa for two minutes alone?" Russell asked.
"Why the fuck would I leave my baby girl wth you?" Jay snapped. Protective.
"Jay go." I said.
Jay nodded but hugged me.
"I love you." Jay said.
"Love you too. I'll be fine. Your acting like he's gonna kill me." I said and Jay chuckled before glaring hard at Russell.
"Don't hurt her." Jay said.
"I won't." Russell said.
Jay walked off with Audrey and Jake and Russell sat me down in the now empty stadium.
"So uh... what's up?" I asked.
"Come to us." Russell said.
"I'm sorry what?" I asked.
"Play for our team. Running back." Russell said.
"Are you crazy? My whole life is only made up of like a few things and that team is one of them. I'm not going to you guys." I snapped.
"Look... it's a lot but if you come to us coach won't lose his job. You are one of the best in this country. People all around his country know your name." Russell said.
"I can't just leave Russell." I snapped.
"Yes you can. Your a game changer. Don't you know what people call you. Flash. Nightmare." Russell said.
"Look I'm not a game changer I'm a quarter back like Tom like your Dad like Cam and like you." I said.
"You don't get it do you?" Russell asked.
"What don't I get?" I asked.
"You're two times faster than Tom. You can throw extremely far. And you will push people down if they try to tackle you." Russell said.
"Look I gotta go." I said glaring at him.
"Alexa!" Russell yelled.
"What?" I asked.
"Just think about it." Russell said.
"I'm not thinking about it." I said and ran off.

I was given the trophy.
"What did he talk to you about?" Jay asked.
"It's nothing." Liars go to hell. My eyes turned orange.
"Baby girl I know your colors." Jay said. I knew he was losing his temper but he'd lose it more if I told him.
"Jay just don't worry about it." I said.
"What the hell did he say?" Jay snapped.
I pecked his lips.
"Jay stop it. I know you and I know your temper. Just let it go." I said.
"Did he hurt you?" Jay asked. I chuckled.
"Jay he didn't hurt me." I said.
He nodded and I put my head on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry is it bad that I find it funny when Jay gets mad?" Tom asked laughing.
"Nah it's hilarious and Alexa's in the corner like don't kill me." Christian said laughing.
Audrey started laughing and soon the whole team did.
"There just jealous that we have nikes of love." Jay said smirking.
"Nikes of love?" Chris asked rolling his eyes. The media showed up.
"Alexa." They said.
"Go away! Go away! I'm not listening! Yo you guys are breaking up! Where are you?! I can't hear you! I can't see you! Your breaking up!" I yelled. I took my drink and poured it on them making them run.
"Can I get a refill please? I'll pay for the refill." I bargained.
"No need." The waiter said smiling sweetly at me.
Jay was working on jealousy so I gave his hand a squeeze and pecked his cheek.
"It feels good to finally win." Christian said.
"Yup. Thought I was gonna have to kill Brooks when she lost a few yards." Coach said and I laughed. Nervously a bit.
"No. I still haven't married Jay yet. Then you can kill me because I'll feel like I completed life." I said making Jay chuckle.
"Eager aren't we?" Jay asked.
"Yes we are." I replied smiling.
"I know. I'd be eager too." Jay said.
"Arrogant."
