Game time and then the championship is on Sunday.
"Hey Brooks you got it." Coach said.
"I walked out to people taking pictures of Brooks.
I looked into the crowd and saw a poster up.
Flash.
People did call me flash.
I put in my mouth guard and put my helmet on and hit it.
We walked off.
I started with the ball.
"Set Hike!" I yelled.
I threw it to Audrey immediately she was kinda shocked because I run it the first two plays but I want my teammates more involved.
A guy jumped up but she pushed him and caught it.
Audrey's Pov
"Thank you." I said and started running. I did a little spin move and a guy tried to tackle me but I jumped and he slid between me. A guy tried to tackle me but he ended up falling. Ok I didn't do anything. Ok... I tripped him.
But who cares because I scored.
I smiled a bit and looked at the ball before handing it to the ref.
I saw Alexa walk off.
Alexa's Pov
I walked off.
"Hey flash!" A little girl yelled in the crowd. That same girl at the restaurant.
"Cup your hands please." I said to coach. He nodded and I did a flip and landed over the fence.
"It's you." I said throwing her up in the air. She giggled and her parents smiled at me.
"Yeah. We came just to see you." She said smiling.
"Well my biggest fan come with me." I said smiling. Her parents smiled at me.
I brought her to the bench.
"Only special people watch from here." I told her and she squealed. I laughed before putting on my helmet.
I grabbed the ball.
"Come on Flash!" Someone in the crowd yelled.
"Set Hike!" I yelled and threw it to Jay.
40 35 30 25 20 15 10 5 and Smith is gone. In the end zone! Touchdown!" The ref yelled.
There would only be two more plays and the other team scored.
The little girl was sitting on my lap.
"Sweaty palms. Flash is nervous." She said.
"I'm not nervous." I lied.
"Yeah huh." She said. I chuckled and put her down.
"I gotta go." I said smiling.
I walked on the field.
"Record breaker is scared to run the ball." One guy said.
"I want my teammates more involved." I snapped.
"Huh uh." He said.
I walked into position. I hit my helmet.
"Come on flash!" They yelled.
"Set Hike!" I yelled and started hesitating. I threw the ball before getting tackled hard. This wasn't like any other tackle. I heard a crack a big one.
"Brooks looks like she's down." Ref said.
I got up and my side immediately started hurting. Bitch suck it up.
"Brooks are you good?" Coach asked.
"Great." I replied.
"Give me 10." He said and I dropped and gave him 10 push-ups.
"I meant a two hand high five." He said laughing.
"Oh." I said laughing and gave him a two hand high five.
"Hey your not getting back on the field." Dad snapped.
"Yo I can't hear you bro. Your breaking up." I said and the crowd laughed as I ran on the field.
I grabbed the ball.
"Come on flash!" The little girl yelled. I saw Aubrey join her and they were talking. Looks like they were talking about the game. I smiled.
"Set Hike!" I yelled.
"Run it!" Jay yelled. I ignored him and threw him a nice spiral.
Some guy jumped in front of him and was about to catch it.
"Long arms reach down come on Jay!" I yelled. He nodded and reached his hands down in front of his and caught it.
"Yeah!" I yelled.
He started running pretty fast and he scored.
I smiled and jumped on him as we went on break.
"Damn do you eat food?" Jay asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Your light." Jay said.
"So who brought you down here?" I asked Aubrey.
"My gymnastics. Emily's cool." Aubrey defended.
I chuckled.
"Ok." I said shrugging.
Audrey grabbed Aubrey.
"Hey." Aubrey said smiling and kissed Audrey's nose.
"They're sisters right?" Emily asked.
"Yeah Emily we're sisters." Aubrey said.
Audrey put Aubrey on her shoulders.
Aubrey started hitting Audrey.
"What?" Audrey snapped.
"I see Mom." Aubrey said.
"Have you seen two girls that look nothing a like and one is clearly older than the other?" The lady Aubrey was point at asked.
"Hey Mom!" Aubrey called.
"Aubrey!" She yelled.
