Dad was back next morning but I was still thinking about Jayden. He's actually Jack Hems nephew.
I wake up and see Alexis in bed.
I run a hand through my hair as events from yesterday play through my head. How could Jayden know Jack? Why does Dad hit Mom? Why did Jason snap at me? So many questions and no answers. I sigh and get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I put on some sweats and Jordan's to go for a run.
As I'm running I see Jayden behind me.
"Alexa." Jayden says breathlessly.
"Just stay away from me." I said.
"I'm not going to fucking stay away from you!" Jayden snapped.
"Well you should." I said.
"I'm not anything like him." Jayden said.
"I don't care." I said.
"Well you should care because I'm not going to stay away from you! Do you want to know why?! Because I like you! I said it! I Jayden Smith like you Alexa Brooks!" Jayden yelled.
The next thing I knew he took my first kiss. But I can't lie and say I hated it. I kissed him back and he put his arms around my waist.
"I like you." Jayden whispered as he put his forehead against mine.
"I don't do boys." I said.
"Aww come on. That kiss meant nothing?" Jayden asked.
"No no no it meant something. But I can't trust you." I said.
"Yes you can. I'm nothing. Absolutely nothing like him. I know what he did to your Mom and I'm sorry but I'm nothing like him." Jayden said.
"Prove it." I said and ran into my house.
I closed the door and put my back against it.
I slid down the door. What am I going to do with that boy? Curse his pink kissable lips.
I got up and grabbed my basketball.
I'll just go do all the things I do when I need to get my mind off of things. Playing basketball is one of them.
I walked outside and checked to see if anyone was watching but I took a three and made it. I got the ball again and went in for a dunk.
After a while if just shooting and dribbling I went inside.
"Alexa come here." Jason said.
"I'm sorry I got mad at you." Jason said.
"I'm sorry I called you a man whore." I said.
"Hug?" Jason asked.
"Yeah." I said. I hugged him and he held me tight.
Justin's Pov
I woke up to see Christian sleeping but Jason gone.
I exposed Dad and yeah I feel guilty.
I sigh and walk out to talk to Dad but Dad already opens the door.
"Son I want to talk to you." Dad said.
I nodded and walked into a hallway.
"Justin I've done things that I'm not proud of." Dad started.
"I know." I said and Dad gave me the look.
"Continue sir." I said.
"And you're right I have hit your Mom. And yes out of anger. I don't want you to make the same mistakes I made. Your Mom is not the smartest person for sticking with me." Dad said chuckling.
"I know." I said.
"But you can't do things I did because maybe the person you fall for won't be as dumb and stay like your Mom." Dad said chuckling.
"Alex Brooks if you call me dumb again I will kick your ass!" Mom yelled.
"Oh she heard that." I said.
"Run." Dad said.
Mom ran out tumbling and caught Dad.
She jumped in his arms and he kissed her all over her face making her smile.
"You guys are to cute." I said smiling.
"I'm surprised your Dad can still carry me." Mom said smiling.
"I can really look at that smile all day." Dad said.
"I know. You told me senior year." Mom said.
"I'm gonna go." I said.

Jayden's Pov
It's not even healthy to think about a girl so much but Alexa is special so I don't care. I sit in my room trying to get her out of my head but I realize she's not going anywhere. I sit down and draw a picture of her. Ok this seems like what stockers do but I like her.
Once I finish drawing her Dad walks in.
"Hey son. What ya drawing?" Dad asked.
"N-nothing." I stuttered.
"Oh give it here." Dad said and he took it.
"A girl huh?" Dad asked laughing.
"She's not just a girl now give it back." I said.
"Carol come see this!" Dad called Mom who came immediately.
"What happened?" Mom asked.
"Here." Dad said giving her the picture.
"So who's this un lucky girl?" Mom asked laughing.
"Her name is Alexa Brooks." I said and Mom immediately stopped laughing.
"She trusts you?" Mom asked.
"I'm working on that." I said.
"Don't mess up." Mom said sternly as she walked out.
"She's worried son. Don't worry." Dad read my mind.
"Ok." I replied.
