Parth and Roja came to Randhir's room and saw Renee was sleeping soundly on the baby cot. They looked at her angelic face and smiled dreamily.
"Dekhiye na kitni chain se soo rahi hain, just like an angel." Roja said, adoring the baby's face.
"Hain mela bachha, kitni peyali hain!" Parth lisped and took Renee in his arms.
"Sir what are you doing, wo jaag jayegi!" Roja said nervously.
"Toh phir tum phir se sula dena." Parth said playfully thus Roja rolled her eyes. He placed Renee on the bed and lay down beside her when Roja laid on the other side. Both were adoring the baby.
"Bilkul mujh par gayi hai, hai na!" Parth said proudly when Roja rolled her eyes.
"But mujhe toh lagta hain bilkul Renuka aunty par gayi hain Renee." Roja said thoughtfully.
"Ek hi baat hain, main bhi toh badi mom par hi gaya hu na!" Parth said, shrugging his shoulders, thus Roja smiled.
"Aap kuch bhi kahiye Renee resemble very much to her father." Roja said, caressing the baby's hair.
"In that case our daughter will resemble her father too." Parth winked at Roja thus she blushed hard.
"Lagta hai aapko sirf beti chahiye, biwi nahi!" Roja pouted.
"But beti hone ke liye biwi jaruri hai." Parth said naughtily when Roja rolled her eyes.
"Mujhe bhi ek aaisi chhoti si, peyari si, cute golu mulu si beti chahiye." Parth said adoring Renee's face when Roja blushed hearing that.
"My baccha." Parth said when kissed Renee's chubby cheeks and as a result her sleep got disturbed and she started crying.
"See I told you." Roja eyed Parth and took Renee on her lap.
"Naaa, rote nahi, soo jau." Roja starts a lullaby and as a result Renee slept soon.
"You should sing often. You have such a beautiful voice." Parth praised her thus she smiled a little.
"Kyu aapko bhi lodi sun kar sona hai!" Roja said playfully thus Parth smiled naughtily.
"Mujhe bhi aur hamare aane wale baccho ko bhi." Parth hushed joining their heads when Roja blushed.
"What's happening here and why Renee is crying?" Randhir almost barged inside the room thus giving an end to their moment.
"Father India, I told you!" Parth whispered and chuckled when Roja controlled her laugh.
"Keya khus-phus ho raha hai dono ke bich and moreover Renee kyu roo rahi thi?" Randhir asked, taking a quick look at sleeping Renee.
"Aab bacchi hai, koi bura swapna dekh kar roo rahi hogi but humne sula diya humari beti ko that's the important thing." Parth said proudly.
"Tune nahi Roja ne. And you are the bad dream or I must say the bad reality in my life, hopeless." Randhir frowned, thus Parth rolled his eyes. Just when Sanyukta entered the room being completely drenched.
"Ohh my god, Sanyukta tum bhig kaise gayi?" Roja asked with concern.
"Ask your friend. Over smart kahi ka!" Sanyukta said annoyingly.
"Ohh ho, lagta hain dono kaafi romantic ho rahe thay! But in that case Randhir tu gila kaise nahi huya?" Parth asked naughtily, thus both Randhir and Sanyukta became embarrassed.
"Shut up. Jab dekho bakwas wo bhi bacchi ke samne! Responsibility naam ki koi cheez hi nahi hain!" Randhir said a little louder, thus Renee awoke and started crying again.
"Now tell me who is irresponsible? Itni zor se koi baat karta hai wo bhi soti hui bacchi ke samne! Darra diya meri beti ko!" Parth said with concern when Sanyukta was about to take her but realized she was all wet.
"You go and change, main sula deti hu." Roja said thus Sanyukta nodded positively.
"Thank you." Sanyukta said when took the chance and went to the washroom quickly. Roja was trying to make her sleep but couldn't this time. Renee was crying more loudly when Randhir took her in his arms and tried to stop her but can't just when Renuka came there.
"Baat kya hai, bacchi ki rone ki awaz puri ghar mein sunai de rahi hain!" Renuka asked worriedly.
"Pata nahi mom chup hi nahi ho rahi hain." Randhir said helplessly.
"Humne toh sula diya tha but Randhir ne jaga diya." Parth complained.
"Just shut up okay. Mom yeh sab Parth ka kaam hain, usine rulaya meri beti ko." Randhir complained when Parth rolled his eyes.
"Ohh hello, tune hi bulaya tha mujhe Pari ka kheyal rakhne ke liye. In fact tune use room mein akela chhoda tha, you useless fellow." Parth replied when Randhir rolled his eyes.
"Ohh hello, maine tujhe nahi Roja ko kaha tha Renee ka kheyal rakhne ke liye! In fact, tune use jagaya, you useless fellow." Randhir frowned when Parth rolled his eyes.
"Shut up both of you." Renuka said angrily, thus both Randhir and Parth stopped their banter. Just when Sanyukta came out from the washroom and was shocked to saw Renuka there.
"Sanyukta tum iss waqt shower le rahi thi?" Renuka asked surprisingly when Sanyukta was short of words.
"Wo maa main…" She was fidgeting with the words.
"Sabke sab useless hain iss ghar mein! Jab responsibility leni nahi aati toh phir lete kyu ho! Lau mujhe do." Renuka said angrily when Randhir passed Renee to her helplessly.
"Main bacchi ko le ja rahi hu aur tum dono bhi apne room mein jau." Renuka said when both Parth and Roja nodded positively and she left with Renee.
"Sorry bro, mujhe nahi pata tha ke badi mom Pari ko le jayenge. But see the positive side, it's your first night dude, so enjoy." Parth winked at him when Randhir gave him a cold glare.
"Tum isko leke jau, or else this will be his last night!" Randhir said coldly when Parth crocked his eyes and Roja smiled.
"Hmm good night. Chale?" Roja bid them a bye and asked Parth who nodded a yes.
"Okay good night and sweet dreams guys. See you tomorrow." Parth nearly sang and left with Roja giving them the privacy next.
"Now happy!" Randhir said to Sanyukta coldly.
"What?" Sanyukta crocked her eyes.
"Tumhari wajah se mom Renee ko lakar chali gayi! Sirf aur sirf tumhari wajah se!" Randhir stated firmly.
"Meri wajah se!" Sanyukta said became shocked.
"Yes, just because of you mom took my daughter along with her. Agar tum bahar nahi jati toh phir main tumhare piche piche nahi jata aur na yeh sab kuch hota!" Randhir let out his frustration.
"Ohh hello, tum ek baat bhul rahe ho! Na tum mere saath wo ghatiya mazak karte, na main bahar jati, na tum mere piche aate aur na yeh sab hota!" Sanyukta replied firmly.
"That was just a surprise but tumhe toh hamesha overreact karna hota hai!" Randhir frowned dangerously.
"Main overreact karti hu yeah phir tum, jaise abhi kar rahe ho!" Sanyukta retorted back.
"Haan main karunga overreact, jab tak mujhe meri beti wapas nahi milti main overreact karunga." Randhir said firmly.
"Okay toh phir karte raho overreact but mujhe blame mat karna." Sanyukta said annoyingly when lay down on the bed covering herself by the blanket.
"What do you mean, tumhe blame nahi karu toh kise karu! It's all because of you. Toh phir aab tum hi meri beti ko wapas lekar aayogi, samjhi!" Randhir said removing the blanket.
"Aagar itna hi miss kar rahe ho toh phir khud jakar le aau na aapne beti ko! Main bhi toh dekhu the great Randhir Singh Shekhawat mein kitna dam hain!" Sanyukta said mockingly when Randhir glared at her but can't say anything as he knows it's impossible to bring Renee back from Renuka after all this mess. So he gave up. He turned his face when a doll on the bed caught his attention. He took that and caressed it.
"Meri beti, meri khubsurat beti chali gayi! Aab main uske bina kaise rahu! I can't live without my baby girl." Randhir nearly sobbed when Sanyukta looked at him with awe.
"Drama queen kahi ka!" She murmured under her breath.
"Tumhari beti sasural nahi gayi hai jo itna drama kar rahe ho! Aake chup chap soo jao." Sanyukta said annoyingly when Randhir looked at her with red eyes.
"Mujhe meri beti chahiye, abhi." Randhir frowned dangerously.
"Main kya paida kar ke du?" Sanyukta mocked him.
"Haan mujhe dusri beti paida karke do, abhi ke abhi!" Randhir said hoarsely when Sanyukta looked at him in disbelief.
"Are you out of your mind! What do you mean by abhi ke abhi?" Sanyukta asked shockingly.
"I don't know anything. I just want my daughter back." Randhir instead.
"Have some patience and shame also. Abhi ke abhi beti paida kar ke do! Kuch bhi!" Sanyukta said in disbelief.
"But I can't sleep without her. What can I do?" Randhir asked helplessly.
"Ek kaam karo, puri raat jagte raho but mujhe sona hain, understand! Okay bye, good night." Sanyukta said when switched off the lights but Randhir turned it on next.
"What the hell Randhir! Na khud sote ho aur na dusro ko sone dete ho!" Sanyukta said angrily.
"Agar main nahi soo sakta toh phir tumhe bhi sone nahi dunga!" He said removing the blanket.
"Randhir leave." Sanyukta said annoyingly holding the blanket.
"No, I won't." Randhir said adamantly, holding the other side of the blanket.
"I'll file a complaint against you." Sanyukta threatened him.
"Ohh yeah!" Randhir said coldly.
"Ohh yes, I can. You should know that I can legally file a case against you if you stop me to sleeping, under 'Article 21'!" Sanyukta informed him.
"I don't care but I won't let you sleep tonight anymore." Randhir said pulling the blanket.
"Wapas do." Sanyukta said when pulled the blanket next and it continued when Randhir pulled it so hard and as a result Sanyukta lost her balance and crashed with his broad chest and both fell on the bed Sanyukta over him. Sanyukta slowly looked up when her eyes met with Randhir and they lost in each other.
"It's our first anniversary Randhir, keya aaj ki raat bhi hum ladte rahenge like last time?" Sanyukta asked softly.
"I don't want to fight with you but you started it first." Randhir replied slowly.
"You give me the reason." Sanyukta pouted.
"I was just joking baby." Randhir said, caressing her cheek.
"That was a lame joke." Sanyukta furrowed her nose.
"I am sorry. I stretched it long." Randhir apologized.
"I am sorry too. I overreacted." Sanyukta apologized too.
"But now I really miss Renee." Randhir pouted.
"What if tumhe kabhi beti aur biwi mein se kisi ek ko chunna padta? You will definitely choose her over me. Hai na!" Sanyukta made a face.
"I already chose you over her." Randhir replied thus Sanyukta gave him an obvious look.
"Yeah right, jaise thodi der pehele kiya tha! When you left me and I fall in the fountain, remember!" Sanyukta pouted when Randhir smiled.
"But now you are in my arms, not my baby doll." Randhir said encircled his arms around her neck when Sanyukta smiled too.
"Kaal subha jitni marzi khel lena apne baby doll ke saath." Sanyukta said, touching his cheek.
"Okay, then I have to play with her mamma now." Randhir said in a mischievous way when Sanyukta blushed hard. They didn't say anything but their lips met hungrily next.

Days rolled on and the festival of colours came once again. The Shekhawat family was waiting for the day badly as they wanted to play holi with the new member of the family, especially Rehan and Mishti. Both were very much eager to play holi with their little sister. Everyone was busy with the decoration when Sanyukta was busy selecting a perfect dress for Renee.
"Randhir please help me now to choose a perfect one." Sanyukta was confused between the 3-4 white dresses.
"Aare kuch bhi pehan lo, waise bhi holi khelne ke baad sab pocha hi banne wala hai, hai na!" Randhir replied teasingly when playing with Renee.
"I am talking about Renee, not me. Holi party mein kaun si dress pehnni hai." Sanyukta said lovingly looking at Renee when Randhir looked at her confusingly.
"What are you talking about! Renee is not going to the holi party." Randhir stated firmly.
"Kya, lekin kyu?" Sanyukta asked shockingly.
"Aare party mein kitne log honge, kisine agar Renee ko colour laga diya toh! Pata hai na colour mein kitne chemicals hote hai! What if rashes ho gaye, yeah phir skin burn! Aur phir kisi ne agar kuch khila diya like last time, yeah phir bhang pila diya toh!" Randhir widened his eyes when Sanyukta looked at him in disbelief.
"Holi ki party mein rang aur bhang dono honge, that doesn't mean ke koi bacchi ko wo dega!" Sanyukta said surprisingly.
"Look I can't take a risk with my daughter, wo party mein nahi jayegi. Lekin haan, princess dress pahen kar aapne papa ke saath jarur khelegi, hai na!" Randhir said lovingly looking at Renee who smiled when taking out some noises.
"See, she agreed." Randhir said happily.
"Har waqt overreact karna achchha nahi hai Randhir!" Sanyukta said annoyingly.
"Har waqt casual rahna bhi achchha nahi hai Sanyukta. Aur baat agar meri beti ki safety ki ho toh phir bilkul nahi." Randhir said firmly.
"Haan haan, kyu nahi! Holi ke din rang lagana toh unsafe hota hai!" Sanyukta said teasingly, thus Randhir rolled his eyes.
"I don't care. But meri beti ko koi rang nahi lagayega and that is final." Randhir stated firmly. Just when Rehan and Mishti barged inside the room.
"Happy holi Renee." Both Rehan and Mishti said excitedly and jumped on the bed.
"Nahi nahi, koi rang nahi lagayega bahen ko." Randhir said anxiously thus both Rehan and Mishti became disappointed.
"Mimi dekho na mamu bahen ko rang lagane nahi de rahe hai!" Mishti pouted.
"Aare aise kaise nahi denge! Rang toh hum laga kar hi rahenge." Sanyukta said firmly, taking a glance at Randhir.
"Aare samjha karo baccho, colours mein kitne harmful chemicals hote hai, bahen ko rashes ho jayega, pimple ho jayega!" Randhir said worriedly.
"Chachu yeh organic colour hai, no chemicals so no harmful. Don't worry hum bahen ko kuch nahi hone denge iss baar, hum dono uske protector jo hai." Rehan said proudly thus Sanyukta smiled brightly.
"Thik hai but thoda sa hi lagana, okay." Randhir said with care.
"But hum toh soch kar aaye thay ke bahen ko bhoot bana denge!" Mishti said, showing her colourful hands when Randhir's eyes came out from it's socket.
"Keya!" He almost screamed when Sanyukta controlled her laugh.
"Nahi beta, wo bahen abhi chhoti hai na toh phir aap bhoot nahi bana sakte warna baad mein khasi, bukhar aa jayega. Tum dono bass chutki bhar colour laga do, okay." Randhir said when the duo nodded their heads.
"Okay." They became disheartened when Mishti applied a pinch of colour on Renee's cheek.
"Happy holi Renee." Mishti wished her when kissing her cheek lovingly.
"Happy holi Renee." Rehan also wished her after applying a pinch of colour on Renee's cheek and kissed her.
"Aab bahen hume colour nahi lagayegi?" Mishti asked cutely.
"Haan haan, kyu nahi! Aab Renee Mishti didi aur Rehan bhaiya ko colour lagayegi, hai na!" Sanyukta said lovingly looking at Renee who smiled. Sanyukta put some colours on Renee's fingers and applied both Rehan and Mishti's cheeks.
"Rehan, Mishti; Renee said happy holi." Sanyukta said thus both Rehan and Mishti smiled brightly.
"Now it's my turn." Sanyukta said when applied colours on their faces when both Rehan and Mishti do the same.
"Randhir tum baccho ko rang nahi lagayoge?" Sanyukta asked when Randhir looked at them and smiled devilishly.
"What! Why are you smiling like that?" Sanyukta gulped hard.
"Cause it's my turn now!" Randhir said when jumped down from the bed and took two fistfuls of colour.
"Gao walo aab tum logo ko daku Randhir ke haato bhoot banne se koi nahi bacha sakta, ha ha ha!" Randhir said dramatically and laughed loudly when both Rehan and Mishti's jaw dropped and Sanyukta widened her eyes.
"Mimi bachao." Mishti said helplessly hiding behind Sanyukta.
"Koi nahi bachayega tum gao walo ko daku Randhir ki haath se." Randhir said dramatically and applied colours on their faces and the kids run away from there next when he caught Sanyukta's hand.
"Now it's your turn baby." Randhir smirked naughtily.
"Randhir no, not now, Randhir please." Sanyukta said nervously.
"Yeh toh pehle sochna chahiye tha Basanti, aab toh Biru maidan mein aa chuka hai!" Randhir said playfully when Sanyukta smiled.
"Okay bass thoda sa hi lagana, please." Sanyukta requested.
"Aare aaise kaise! Hum toh mamma ko bhoot banayenge, hai na!" Randhir said looking at Renee who smiled brightly.
"Randhir please." Sanyukta pouted.
"Hai, aisa mat kiya karo jaan. Pata nahi kaha kaha par churiya chalta hai!" Randhir hushed thus Sanyukta blushed.
"I know yeh tum pichle saal ka badla le rahe ho! Pichle saal maine tumhe rang lagane nahi diye, uska badla!" Sanyukta made a sad face and Randhir smiled.
"Who told you that baby! Pichle saal toh maine tumhe apne pyar ke rang mein ranga tha!" Randhir hushed when Sanyukta's cheeks burnt.
"Kaha main tumhare saath rango ka tehwar manana chahta tha aur tumne mujhe zindagi ke saare rang de diye!" Randhir said pointing towards Renee when Sanyukta blushed profusely.
"Kamal hai, abhi toh maine rang lagaya bhi nahi aur tumhara gaal laal laal ho gaya hai! That's not fair!" Randhir teased her.
"Lekin aaj main phir se ek baar tumhe apne rang mein rang dunga." Randhir said huskily when came near her. Her eyes were roaming on her face as if looking for something when his one hand rose to her side of face. His fingers touched her forehead when she shut her eyes, unable to bare the sensation. His fingers trail down a little and she felt her stomach knotted up in a weird need. His fingers continue to come down touching her cheek, painting her in colours. Sanyukta dig her nails into her palm as she was trying to control herself not to moan that moment he touched the curve of her lower lip but one thing sure she doesn't want him to stop. She doesn't want to break their moment at any cost. He rubbed his thumb on her lips gently when she slowly opened her eyes feeling lost of his touch and found him looking at her with something unusual in his eyes.
"Aab tum puri tarah se mere rang mein rang jayogi!" Randhir's intense gaze turned mischievous in seconds and all of a sudden he applied all the colour on her face and left her like a colourful canvas.
"Randhir!" Sanyukta almost screamed as she was stunned by his gesture when Randhir laughed loudly.
"Bola tha na mamma ko bhoot bana dunga!" Randhir laughed looking at Renee who was looking at her parents with wide open eyes after witnessing her father's not so innocent deed when Sanyukta pushed him hard and made him fall on the carpet and applied all the colours on him. Once she was done they looked at each other, their eyes met for a second and they both burst out into laughter.
"Happy holi love birds." Their moments break hearing that thus they turned their faces and saw both Parth and Roja stood at the threshold thus they get up quickly.
"Aare Sanyukta main toh tumhare saath holi khelne aaya tha lekin tumne toh mere bina hi holi khel liya!" Parth said playfully when Sanyukta smiled a little.
"Dekho na kya haal kar diya mera!" Sanyukta furrowed her nose.
"Haan dekho na jagah hi nahi bachi hain wish karne ke liye!" Parth said playfully.
"You and your pathetic joke!" Randhir said annoyingly.
"Tu aaj holi ke din bhi fight karega!" Parth said rolling his eyes.
"Nahi gale milunga" Randhir said and hugged Roja all of a sudden. "Happy holi sweetheart!" He wished her when Parth rolled his eyes.
"Happy holi Randhir." Roja wished him back.
"Very funny!" Parth made a face.
"Aare I was wishing her a happy holi! Tujhe bhi chahiye jhappi!" Randhir said playfully.
"Haan chahiye na, definitely chahiye!" Parth said when hugged Sanyukta next, making Randhir dumb. "Happy holi Senorita!" He wished her.
"Happy holi to you too Parth." Sanyukta wished him too.
"Copy cat kahi ka!" Randhir said grumpily.
"What?" Parth asked innocently when Randhir looked around.
"Okay now it's time to wish my baby girl Pari." Parth said excitedly looking at Renee when Randhir's eyes widened.
"No, never." Randhir said anxiously.
"Yes, forever." Parth said teasingly and their banter started. After some time both Parth and Roja left when Sanyukta went inside the washroom. She came in and turned on the tap. She looked at her image and smiled a little.
"Abhi bhi baccha hi hai Randhir, mera Rannu!" She smiled brightly and splashed water on her face when some scenes flashed in her mind and she shot open her eyes.
"Rannu! Maine yeh naam pehle bhi kahin suna hai, lekin kaha!" She said to herself.
"Holi khelna, rang lagana yeh sab pehle bhi ho chuka hai! Lekin maine toh Randhir ke saath last time holi nahi kheli! Toh phir wo saare flashes, sab sach lag raha tha!" She said confusingly. She came out from the washroom after some time and saw Randhir was wiping Renee's face with a tissue. She came and sat beside him. Randhir looked at her and saw him lost somewhere.
"Hey naraz ho? Come on aaj toh holi hai! Aaj toh masti mazak allow hai!" Randhir said surprisingly when Sanyukta looked at him.
"What happened?" Randhir asked confusingly.
"I saw something." Sanyukta replied.
"Keya?" Randhir asked curiously.
"Aisa pehle bhi ho chuka hai keya?" She asked curiously.
"Keya?" Randhir asked confusingly.
"Hum dono, aaise ek saath!" She replied.
"Haan kayi baar. Everytime I see you I just lost control." Randhir smirked at her when Sanyukta rolled her eyes.
"Randhir I am not joking!" Sanyukta said annoyingly.
"Main bhi nahi! Hum dono bahut baar pass aa chuke hai!" Randhir said teasingly.
"Lekin holi ke din kabhi nahi!" Sanyukta said all of a sudden when Randhir looked at her with awe.
"Mujhe aisa laga ki yeh sab pehle bhi ho chuka hai! Tum mujhe pehle bhi holi wish kar chuke ho, rang laga chuke ho, humne saath mein holi celebrate kiya! Jab ke reality kuch aur hi hai. Hum ne kabhi saath mein holi nahi khela toh phir mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai?" Sanyukta asked anxiously when Randhir looked at her without a blink.
"Baby abhi toh holi ki celebration start bhi nahi huyi aur tumne already bhang pee bhi liya! Aur pine ke baad mujhe imagine kar rahi ho, itna pyar! Not bad!" Randhir said teasingly when Sanyukta glared him hard.
"You know what the fault is mine jo tumse apni problem share karti hu. But aaj ke baad kabhi nahi!" She said angrily.
"Okay then let's go to the lawn, after all it's holi." Randhir said playfully.
"Subha toh mana kar rahe thay!" Sanyukta said confusingly.
"Aare maine apna decision change kar liya. Aur kabhi kabhi toh ek decision life change kar deti hain." Randhir said looking into her eyes when Sanyukta looked at him confusingly.
"Muh dho lo, rang lagane ka jagah kaha hain! Haan aagar shirtless jayoge toh phir baat kuch aur hai!" Sanyukta said mockingly when Randhir smirked.
"Agar yahi chance tum mujhe do toh phir pura din room mein hi holi khelunga, tumhare saath!" Randhir hushed when Sanyukta's checks burnt.
"Shameless!" She said became embarrassed when picked Renee's belongings and kept them in the wardrobe.
"Mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hain ke yeh sab pehle bhi ho chuka hai! Lekin last year holi ke din toh…" And she stopped thinking about remembering the last holi.
"Mujhe toh thik se kuch yaad bhi nahi hai!" She said in mind when her cheeks turned crimson.
"So finally my wait is over. Sanyukta ko finally last year holi ki wo sab baatein yaad aa raha hain jo main use yaad dilana chahta tha. And I am sure aaj holi ke baad Sanyukta ko wo sab kuch yaad aa jayega. Now I am just waiting for that only." Randhir said in mind when smiled dreamily.

There were huge arrangements on the lawn for holi party like every year. The big garden was well decorated according to the party. Drinks and sweets were served and colours were spreading everywhere making the atmosphere festive. Everyone was celebrating the holi cheerfully when the apple of everyone's eyes came to the party on her chariot and grabbed everyone's attention. Randhir and Sanyukta came to the party with Renee grabbing everyone's attention. Renuka came and took Renee from the perambulator who looks like a princess in that milky white frock. Harsh came with a plate full of colours and was about to apply Renee when Randhir stopped him.
"Dad bass thoda sa hi lagana, wo rashes and all!" Randhir said nervously.
"I know, tabhi organic colours mangwaya hai. Aise hi India ka top businessman nahi ban gaya, understand!" Harsh said proudly, shutting Randhir's mouth and applying a little amount of colour on Renee's cheek.
"Happy holi my baccha." Harsh kissed Renee's head and they left with her.
"Aare mom-dad toh Renee ko lekar chale gaye!" Randhir said in disappointment.
"Toh phir tumhe kya laga tha ki sirf tum apne princess ke saath holi kheloge aur koi nahi!" Sanyukta replied playfully.
"Haan aisa hi kuch." Randhir said when Sanyukta's face fell down.
"Haan haan kyu nahi, sirf beti ke saath hi holi khelni hai, main toh jaise hu hi nahi!" Sanyukta murmured slowly which wasn't unheard by Randhir.
"Aww, lagta hai kisiko jwalan ho rahi hai! Lekin lagta hai ke wo bhul gayi ke main uske saath already holi khel chuka hu!" Randhir smiled naughtily when Sanyukta smiled too.
"Lekin kisi ne hamare saath toh holi khela hi nahi!" Parth said coming there when made a sad face.
"Toh phir aab khel le!" Randhir said when emptied a jug full on his head and said, "Happy holi bro." He laughed loudly when both Sanyukta and Roja became stunned by his gesture.
"Youuu! You will pay for it." Parth said annoyingly when run behind Randhir.
"Lo phir se suru ho gayi Tom & Jerry show! Pata nahi yeh dono bade kab honge!" Sanyukta said when sighed hard.
"But I don't want ke wo dono badle. Mujhe toh dono aise hi achchhe lagte hai, masti karte huye." Roja adored the duo when Sanyukta smiled brightly.
"Mujhe bhi." Sanyukta adored them too, who were fighting like kids.
"Aare yaar naraz kyu ho raha hai, it's holi aur holi mein koi rakha sukha sa wish karta hai keya!" Randhir said naughtily.
"Ohh really, is it so!" Parth said when took a pichkari and emptied that next on him.
"Happy holi bro! Woh kya hai na holi mein rukha sukha wish nahi karte toh phir maine tujhe gila-gila wish kiya, wo bhi colourful wish!" Parth smirked devilishly when Randhir was short of words.
"Ufff, aab tum dono ladna bandh karoge! It's holi after all." Sanyukta said coming there along with Roja.
"And Parth happy holi." Sanyukta said applying some colour on him.
"Happy holi to you too Sanyukta." Parth said when applying colour on her.
"Waise shaadi ke baad yeh tum dono ka pehla holi hai, toh phir ek dusre ko wish nahi karoge?" Sanyukta asked both Parth and Roja.
"Wo Parth ne mujhe subha hi wish kar diya tha aur maine unko." Roja replied shyly.
"Hmm lagta hai koi humse bhi pehle holi celebrate kar liya!" Randhir said teasingly thus Roja blushed.
"But now it's my turn, happy holi." Randhir said applying colours on Roja when she did the same.
As the hours started rolling, all their relatives and friends reached the mansion for the party. Everyone was celebrating the holi cheerfully when Sanyukta stood in a corner absentmindedly. Thousands of questions ran through her mind and she was lost when she felt a palm on her shoulder, thus she turned her face and saw Parth there.
"What happened, subha se notice kar raha hu lost dikh rahi ho! Kuch huya hai keya?" Parth asked curiously thus Sanyukta nodded a no.
"Toh phir enjoy kyu nahi kar rahi ho?" Parth asked curiously.
"Kar toh rahi hu." Sanyukta replied with a smile.
"Haan dikh raha hai kitna enjoy kar rahi ho! Kuch toh jarur hua hai! Keya huya hai?" Parth asked curiously.
"Parth tumhe kabhi aisa laga ke, koi incident jo ho raha hai wo pehle bhi ho chuka hai?" Sanyukta asked all of a sudden.
"You mean Déjà vu? Jab kabhi lagta hai ke aisa pehle bhi ho chuka hai!" Parth asked when Sanyukta nodded a yes.
"Aare always. Jab bhi Randhir tumhe lekar possessive ho jata hai I felt like déjà vu!" Parth said when laughed loudly.
"Parth main mazak nahi kar rahi hu, I am serious." Sanyukta said in a serious note.
"Okay baba, sorry. Ab batao baat keya hai?" Parth asked curiously.
"Parth I felt like yeh sab kuch pehle bhi ho chuka hai!" Sanyukta replied slowly.
"Keya?" Parth asked confusingly.
"Yeh holi and all!" Sanyukta replied.
"Yeah of course ho chuka hai. Last year, remember!" Parth said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Tum samjhe nahi Parth. I mean main aur Randhir. Maine last year Randhir ke saath holi nahi kheli thi but mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hai ke hum saath thay! Humne saath mein holi kheli hai! I mean yeh mera imagination toh nahi ho sakta na!" Sanyukta said confusingly.
"Aare tum isse imagination kyu samajh rahi ho, ho sakta hai ke tum dono ne saath mein holi khela ho aur phir tum bhul gayi." Parth replied.
"Aare aise kaise bhul gayi!" Sanyukta said to herself.
"Hota hai aisa. Aare bhang pee ke bade bade ko hosh nahi rahta, toh phir tumne shayed pehli baar bhang peya tha, toh phir kuch yaad nahi, big deal." Parth said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Let it be, kuch payogi? Wait." Parth said when bring two glass of thandai and gave a glass to her.
"Parth iss mein bhang toh nahi hai na?" Sanyukta asked worriedly.
"Not at all, trust me." Parth replied.
"Last year bhi tumne yahi kaha tha." Sanyukta complained.
"Aare last year uss waiter ki galti thi but iss baar main khud yeh laya hu, ek dam mineral water hai! Cheers." Parth said, clinking their glasses and they drank that at once.
"Okay enjoy main abhi aaya." Parth said and left next when Sanyukta lost again.
"Sab kuch last year ki tarah hi ho raha hai! Parth ne mujhe thandai pelaya phir main room mein chali gayi, lekin uske aage ki kuch yaad nahi aah raha hai! Lekin agar wo sab kuch sach hai toh phir huya toh jarur hai. Maine aur Randhir ne saath mein holi jarur kheli thi, par mujhe kuch yaad kyu nahi aah raha hai! Urghhh!" Sanyukta let out her frustration. She came to the room absentmindedly and sat down on the bed. Enormous thoughts running to her mind. She closed her eyes to calm herself down when trying to remember exactly what happened that day.
