Hayasaka POV
My head hurts.
What just happened?
I started slowly waking up.
Was I asleep?
Also, why do I feel like I can't move my arms?
I tried moving a bit, but I couldn't at all.
I looked around my surroundings and I'm currently surrounded by boxes in a single area.
Hold on!
Am I in the school's storehouse?
How did I even get here?
I tried to stand but noticed that even my legs can't move as well.
It's then that I noticed that I'm tied up somehow.
I looked behind my a back as I could see my hands are tied behind my back.
Then I looked at my legs and noticed that I was also tied up there too.
What the hell!?
What's going on?!
Why am I tied up like this!?
3rd person POV
Hayasaka begins to struggle trying to get the zip ties off her, but it was futile.
???: Ohhh you're awake? Finally. I thought that attack would've knocked you out longer than usual.
Hayasaka: Huh?!
She then looked ahead and saw the familiar boy with the black cap.
Hayasaka: I-Ito-kun!?
Shinryuu: So, you are awake! thank goodness. To be honest, I should've held back my punch a bit. Maybe that was a little too strong. Didn't mean to hurt you that much Ai-chan.
Hayasaka: What do you want!? Let go of me!!
Shinryuu: Let go? After working hard to get rid of Tatsuya-senpai? Nahhh we've already progressed this much. Why stop now?
He then grabs a foldable chair that was set up nearby.
Shinryuu carried it and sat in front of Hayasaka who was laying down on the ground while tied up.
Shinryuu: You guys are so fascinating. Especially you. Though not as special as Ayanokouji-senpai but you're special in a different way.
Hayasaka: Why...just let me go already. Your target is Kiyotaka-kun right?
Shinryuu: Exactly, but as we all know. He can be a bit of a stubborn bastard. Heck Tsukishiro-sensei couldn't even make him budge. Maybe that's because he doesn't have someone important to use as a hostage.
Hayasaka: Hostage?!
Shinryuu: That's right, but don't worry Ai-chan. I won't hurt you any further as long as you cooperate with what I have to say.
Hayasaka: I won't go along with your plans!
Shinryuu: Heh! I knew you would say that. *Sigh*
The cap wearing boy leaned back as he looked up the ceiling.
Shinryuu: Ai-chan, do you know why I admire people like Ayanokouji-senpai? It's not just because he's strong. It's the fact that when I heard that he's from a powerful family well mostly just his father given the influence he has and stuff. I worshipped him like a god. You know, the money, the influence, the power. Why is it that when you have those things, it makes you feel like you can do whatever you want?
Hayasaka was confused but listened to his words.
Shinryuu: I'm not really as bad as people make me out to be. In fact, I never had the privileges that people like Ayanokouji-senpai, Shinomiya-senpai, or anyone with a name value that I had since I was born. Heck, your family is also quite strong themselves, at least until the Shinomiyas overtook the Hayasakas that is.
Hayasaka: Huh?! why do you know that?
Shinryuu: Ohh right, you don't have the same memories as I do. You may not remember it, but I remember it since I was a baby. In fact, my family used to work with your family before the Shinomiyas completely destroyed you guys.
Hayasaka: What!?
Hayasaka's face was that of shock.
A shock she's never felt before.
Shinryuu: Oohhh was that too much of a bombshell for you? Well, let me explain. It was around when I was just a baby. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Shinryuu: 16 years ago. My family isn't the richest or the most influential family compared to the Shinomiyas or the Ayanokoujis. As far as I could even remember. I was told that I was merely still inside of my mother's womb and was unable to pay for the hospital in order to perform the operation. However, this is when a miracle happened. Your mother was the one who paid for my mother's finances relating to the hospital. She was able to give birth to me through Cesarean delivery and thus I came to this world. It was your mother that saved my family's life.
Hayasaka: Mother? I...
Shinryuu: Hehe, even as I baby, I remember her face quite well. Now that I think about it, you're as beautiful as your mother. Anyways back to my little story. It was then that your mother Hayasaka Nao gave my mother and father an opportunity they can't refuse. They wanted them to work with your family in their business. It was smooth sailing for my family. They had enough money to take care of me, provide for me, and...you know what let's save that part for later. I was a happy little baby. Quite interesting huh?
Hayasaka was still speechless as Shinryuu chuckled again.
Shinryuu: Yes, it is unbelievable I know but it's true. Now shall we get to the best part?
All Hayasaka can do was stay silent.
Shinryuu: I thought so. One day, my mother and Hayasaka Nao were both chatting to each other. I think it was in your family's garden. They talked about business and stuff, and I was there in a stroller, listening to everything. Obviously as a baby, I wouldn't understand but either way. Your mother then said something about wanting me to meet someone and as it turns out, it was you Ai-chan. Yes, you were a year old at the time from what I remembered. You and I were on the same crib together at one point. Haha, even I remembered that my mother had camera and took pictures of us both as babies back then. In fact, there was only one picture of us as babies that is left before my mother...
Hayasaka: Huh?
Shinryuu then took out a picture from his pocket.
Shinryuu: Anyways, I have the picture with me. I don't know how this managed to survive after so long, but it felt like a lifetime ago. Here.
He showed the picture and Hayasaka was still in her disbelief face.
She recognized the two babies.
One was a blonde female baby with blue eyes and the other was a male baby with peanut-colored hair.
Hayasaka: That's me as a baby...and you?!
Shinryuu: That's right. My mother, Ito Rika and Hayasaka Nao were the best of friends that day. They bonded over us and wanting to shape a good future for the both of us. That is of course...it happened.
Hayasaka: What do you mean?
Shinryuu: Shinomiya. They took everything from my family.
Hayasaka: Why? what did they do?
Shinryuu started slowly boiling over memories that was resurfacing in his mind.
Shinryuu: To be honest it's better for you not to know. But what I can tell you is that the Shinomiyas ruined everything. They took my family's fortunes, they took their lives away, they ruined everything! Because of what they did. My mother committed suicide.
Hayasaka: Suicide!? how come?!
Shinryuu: The pain of losing everything got to her. Even though she knew that she had me, her only son. She couldn't take it anymore. As for my father. Well, this is where "that man" comes into play.
Hayasaka: Atsuomi.
Shinryuu: That's correct. So, not only I lost my mother and everything, this is when I also when I couldn't see you anymore. After my family had their lives ruined. My father was the only living soul that could still take care of me but knowing that my mother committed suicide, he couldn't help but feel hopeless. He had nowhere to go. He didn't even know how to take care of me since he was busy at work all the time. Which was when he met him. My savior. The man that ran the White Room project itself. Ayanokouji-sensei gave him an offer to burden my father of such responsibilities. He told him that he can offer him a 2nd chance in life if he sends me to participate in the White Room project, for 1,000,000 Yen.
Hayasaka: That much!? You mean to say he bribed your father to make you participate in that experiment?!
Shinryuu: Yes, and with having no other choice. He accepted it without even asking questions. He gave me away for the sake of money. And now here I am. Yeah, my backstory is nothing special. Anyways, I'm sure you can understand by now.
Hayasaka: Hold on. I still have some questions.
Shinryuu: Is that so? Very well. Go ahead.
Hayasaka: Is that you're fixated towards me? Is it because your family was connected to mine?
Shinryuu: That's right, not just that though. It's something that Ayanokouji-sensei himself offered me before taking up this task to go to ANHS.
Hayasaka: What deal?
Shinryuu: A deal that will lead to completely cutting the Hayasaka family from the Shinomiya family.
Hayasaka: What!?
Shinryuu: I've been given something to be motivated. Ayanokouji-sensei told me that if I bring his son back, the Masterpiece. He will allow me to have the power to completely break away your family to theirs. Allowing your bloodline to be independent from theirs.
Hayasaka: And how on earth can he do that?
Shinryuu: Ayanokouji-sensei has his ways given that he can simply destroy the Shinomiya family in one fell swoop but leaving your family spared in the process.
Hayasaka: But that's crazy!!! That would also mean-
Shinryuu: Kaguya-senpai's annihilation? Yes, but don't worry Hanako-chan has that covered. You see, I'm not the bad guy here. My friends ain't the bad guys. I'm just here to help you. I want your family to be free from them. I want revenge on the Shinomiyas. For taking everything from my family. Destroy them, and then I can live as much as I want after. I may not have my real family anymore, but I can start anew. By having you to be part of my life Ai-chan.
Hayasaka: But why do this? This isn't right.
Shinryuu: Well, that's just how it is. I can't change the past. They took everything from me. They're the reason excluding your family and Ayanokouji-sensei why I hate privileged people. People that are higher than me. They take everything for the sake of their own power and wealth. This proves how corrupt society is like what Ayanokouji-sensei told us. Those from above take without a second thought. They have no care for the well-being of those who were once in poverty. The reason why I don't resent your family is because they helped mine. Your family was the reason why I was born in the first place. Heck, I remember a conversation from both our mothers that you and I could be a power couple running the business together once we're both grown up. I thought that I had a wonderful future that was set in stone. In the end, it wasn't the case. Because of greed, power, and politics. Humankind will never progress with the bullshit they fight over. That's why the White Room exists. To create not only artificial geniuses but also people who will ensure that the landscape of society changes.
The Soccer demon then stood up from his foldable chair and crouches down to Hayasaka.
Shinryuu: Here's a little fun fact, Ayanokouji-sensei wanted his son to be the prime minister of Japan when he's at the right age. Why do you think Ayanokouji-sensei is secretly playing chess in politics?
Hayasaka could only do but look at Shinryuu with a less than happy look.
Shinryuu: Do you understand now. There's a reason why you were always my main target. Because unlike the rest of my generation. They aren't as merciful than you would think especially the top 3. You're lucky to even be alive since you're under my protection. So, you should be thankful.
Hayasaka: I see...
She now had a lot going through her mind with the story Shinryuu told to her.
The fact that they already have a history long before they meet in ANHS.
She now felt bad for him.
Hayasaka thought that Shinryuu was just a soldier looking for chaos.
But hearing his story.
She felt like she needed to help him.
Hayasaka: Ito-kun.
Shinryuu: No need for the formalities anymore. You already know our long history that you've likely forgotten. Please call me Shinryuu if that's alright with you.
Hayasaka: I...Shinryuu...I understand why you're doing this. But this is wrong.
Shinryuu: Hmm?
Hayasaka: I understand but this isn't the way to go.
Shinryuu was blanked face as he listened.
Hayasaka: Revenge isn't going to get everything back.
Shinryuu: That may be true, but what's the point?
Hayasaka: Huh?!
Shinryuu: Do you know there are two dangerous types of people in my eyes. One: those with large ambitions, and two: those who have nothing. A man that had both is the ultimate menace. I know it's cliche. A man who has everything and has nothing in the end. But that doesn't matter, what matters is that I complete my objective and who knows. You don't need to be a lowly maid any further. In fact, you can be the queen of my empire. We'll create a new bloodline. In a society free of corruption. Isn't that wonderful?
Hayasaka still struggling glares a Shinryuu.
Shinryuu: I suppose it will take a while for you to understand. Well, I guess I should get to work now. He's already here.
Hayasaka: Who's here!?
The front door of the storehouse opens as Hideki arrives.
Hideki: Looks like you took your time.
Shinryuu: Hey, I'm just telling Ai-chan a lovely story.
Hideki: To be honest, you two would be great together. I would personally make a piece of art depicting the two of you.
Shinryuu: That sounds great actually.
Hideki: Anyways, let us begin.

Back to the auditorium
Ryuzaki and Light are now surrounded by the kouhais with Miya running things.
Miya: What's wrong? Have you finally given up?
Ryuzaki: Not exactly.
Miya: Are you sure?
Ryuzaki: I admit, you did catch us in a decent trap.
He then suddenly takes out a candy bar from his pocket and opened the wrapper.
Ryuzaki: You really did get us.
He munched on his candy bar while staring at Miya.
Miya: Still acting calm Detective-san? Do you know the trouble you are in right now?
Ishigami: Face it. The two of you wouldn't be able to fight against all of us.
Ryuzaki: Is that so?
Hosen: Hah! he's asking for a fight? is that a joke?!
Light: Ryuzaki...
Ryuzaki: Don't worry Light, I know what I'm doing. You guys really are something else. Though you guys aren't close to the likes of Kiyotaka. I applaud you for making all of these red herrings. It actually made me sweat. Not as much as the LA murder case. But fair enough.
Miya: Are you still that confident? Don't you get what I told you before? We have a hostage. Here, it's actually right now. Check this out.
Miya threw a phone at Ryuzaki as he caught it.
Both Light and Ryuzaki watched the live video.
It was Shinryuu who was sitting on his foldable chair.
Shinryuu: Good day to all of you. I hope you all have a wonderful afternoon because I have a special announcement to make.
Then the camera then took a shot at a tied up Hayasaka and then back to Shinryuu.
Shinryuu: You see, we have a hostage set up right here and she's from Class S no less. Anyways, to everyone mostly Class S. I have an offer to make. I want Ayanokouji-senpai in this very building right here and now. If you don't bring him here, I'll personally torture this cute girl in very horrible ways or worse, I'll tell everyone about the rumor that you oh so wanted to know the answer to. But if you do bring him here. We'll let the girl go and at the same time, he has no choice but to tell everyone in the entire campus that Ayanokouji Kiyotaka himself is officially dropping out. If you want to know where we are. We are in the school's storehouse and don't bother trying to have anyone attack us. Because you'll only endanger Ai-chan's life. Do you hear me Ayanokouji-senpai!? You better turn yourself to us and announce your drop out. That's all.
The live video stops.
Ryuzaki: You've really taken this far huh?
Miya: What are you going to do about it? You can't spill the truth to him about the rat nor help Hayasaka-senpai. There's nothing you can do but surrender. Face it. There's nothing you can do from here. Who are you even going to send to deal with us? Even Karma-senpai can't beat us and your two best fighters aren't even here to stop us. Suzaku-senpai and Tatsuya-senpai. It's all over now.
Meanwhile in Haru's dorm
Ryuen: So, Class S has lost again huh?
Hachiman: Guess no one can be invincible forever.
Haru: Are you sure?
Ryuen: What do you mean? You said it yourself!
Haru: True but it's not really the end.
Ryuen: Looks like the end to me. Also, why do you think Tatsuya is stronger than the monster?
Haru: I think you may not realize it, but do you guys even know his background?
Ryuen: Huh!?
Haru: Let me rephrase my earlier statement. I think Tatsuya might actually be equal to Kiyotaka in terms of martial arts. Which is why the kouhais are right to be weary of him. I believe that to them, Suzaku and Tatsuya are the most dangerous physically and could theoretically be equal to Kiyotaka, that's why they took them out. However, do you know why I think Class S will win this battle?
Hachiman: How?
Haru: Because they have anomalies to play with.
Back at the auditorium
Ryuzaki suddenly gave a smile.
Miya: What's with that smile Ryuzaki-senpai?
Ryuzaki: It's just that. Your plans are almost perfect that it even caught me off guard. Almost.
Miya: What do you mean?
Ryuzaki: I've always been aware that you guys have info on us since the island exam so when I realized that you didn't take account of a few other individuals. It made me realize that I could use that as an advantage.
Miya: What are you talking about?
Ryuzaki: I'm saying...that you guys are playing into our hands from the start.
Miya: Wha-
Suddenly the entrance door opened to reveal two figures.
Kazami Yuuji and Shizuku Yuki.
Miya: What's this?!
Hosen: Oi! who are you guys!?
Kazami: It's not often that you get caught in traps Ryuzaki.
Ryuzaki: Actually, it was part of our plan.
Miya: What do you mean by that!?
Ryuzaki: I'll explain while my cohorts there by the door deal with everyone.
In an unexpected turn of events which caught even Miya off guard.
Ryuzaki lands a kick onto Miya's chin knocking her back a bit.
Miya: The hell was that!?
Ryuzaki: You may have info on my intellect. But not knowing I can do Capoeira. Looks like you need to do more research.
Miya: You son of a-
Suddenly Miya noticed Yuki running towards her and immediately dodges the oncoming kick.
As Yuki was now fighting Miya, she then spoke to Ryuzaki.
Yuki: Ryuzaki-kun! get out of here, Kazami-kun and I can handle things here.
Ryuzaki: Right, let's go Light. Also, let's take Kushida with us just in case.
Light: Why are we taking her?
Ryuzaki: I'm sure you know the answer to that.
He then untied Kushida but not the ropes on her wrist.
Kushida: Umm you forgot-
Ryuzaki: I know. But that's just to make sure you don't get away. Also, I'll buy you a new phone if you do keep quiet. Hamasaki probably has it and would likely not give it back to you.
Kushida: Ohh great...
Ryuzaki: Come on Light.
Light nods as they escaped while Kazami and Yuki keep the kouhais busy.
Decide to do this chapter now since the Rumor Arc (AKA Pre-Sports festival arc) will soon come to an end.
Yeah, you thought Class S is done for?
Come on this is Class S.
You think they can't adapt to what the 6th generation can do?
Also, yes, I tweaked Hayasaka's past in this fic cause in her canon version, she's already part of the Shinomiya family while here, this is before the Hayasakas have lost to the Shinomiyas and becoming part of them.
Now you know why Shinryuu likes Hayasaka while also hating privileged people like Shinomiya. Though how the Shinomiyas ruined his family's life will come about in the future.
