Kentarou woke up early in the morning in order to finalize the contract he has with Banded Rocking Records. It was quite funny how he is going to be the first official solo Idol that they will be producing. What's more, and most important is that he will meet the members of Mashu-mashu and Criticri in person without paying nor will he have a time limit!!
Ayako, Tomoaki, and Katsuko, who just happened to wake up, saw Kentarou Kentarou go out of the house with excitement in his every movement.
"What's up with him?" Tomoaki couldn't help but ask Ayako as it was really rare for him to see Kentarou look that excited, much more while he is not practically nearly glued to Ayako.
"Yeah, it is somewhat creeping me out" Katsuko admitted cause she could never really know what Kentarou was thinking about unless it concerned Ayako, which makes his way of thinking easier to read.
"Ken is going to Banded Rocking Records in order to finalize his contract then be produced as an idol" Ayako replied, making the two adults gasp in surprise.
"With his true appearance?" Katsuko couldn't help but ask since she knows that it would be a massive headache for Kentarou to take care off once he goes pro.
"He won't. He is pretending to be someone's older brother who signed a contract with the Vocaloids" Ayako replied once again.
"Banded Rocking Records? Vocaloids? Those two kind of sounds familiar..." Tomoaki started to go through his memories to see where he had heard it before.
"Two of the four biggest companies that produce massively popular idols or bands, BBR is the company where Mashumashu, his favorite band, is contracted with" Ayako filled Tomoaki in.
Meanwhile, back with Kentarou. He finally arrived at the address handed to him by Maple Arisugawa, only to find a dilipated building that is already on the verge of collapse.
"Am I in the right place?" Kentarou couldn't help but voice out his concern, but it was easily dispelled by someone going out of the building.
"Nya? A visitor?" A girl around 16 years of age with cat ears and tail, navy blue hair and eyes, wearing a dark blue and white Gothic Lolita dress.
"Cyan-san? Is this really BRR's building?" Kentarou asked, really intrigued now.
"That's right, nya~, This is the real building of BRR nya~. Despite having a much bigger and grander building, we prefer to live here nya~ also only talented people with us should know that this is the real BRR, nya!" Cyan declared proudly.
"Wow!! That's so cool!!" Kentarou was in awe as despite their success, they still remained grounded enough to recognize their roots and live in a dilipated building like this where they started.
"Hold on, nya, are you the new recruit by chance?" Cyan asked as she circled around Kentarou, who didn't mind since he knows full well that it is pretty much a ritual ingrained in the instincts of felines.
"Yes, I was scouted by Maple-san, I look forward to working with you, Cyan-san!" Kentarou said in an enthusiastic manner, which made Cyan smile.
"Nya~ Calling me Cyan-san feells embarassing nya~ Cyan is fine, nya" Cyan said with a bright smile.
'She is the real deal. Besides, Cyan is number 3 in my BRR favorite idols! So calling her without honorifics feels too much, but that is what she wants, so I will just do as she says' Kentarou thought.
"Okay then, Cyan" Kentarou said with a gentle smile, making the poor girl blush in embarrassment, despite doing band work with the likes of Trichronica, Shingan Crimsonz, Arcreacraft, Dokonjofinger, or even collaborating with other famous idols and meeting all sorts of people, she is still quite shy when it comes to private talks.
'Nya~, it has been quite a long time since I felt like this, I guess I need to train more nya~' Cyan thought.
"By the way, Cyan, is the entire nya thing a conscious thing or an influence of your quirk?" Kentarou asked since he also had to deal with the same verbal ticks in the past.
"It's due to my quirk nya, does it bother you, nya?" Cyan asked with a worried tone while also judging Kentarou's character.
"It doesn't bother me in the least Cyan besides, I think that it's quite cute" Kentarou honestly said, his opinion without any lies cause he had experienced the same thing. Although Cyan once again blushed, it was one thing to be called cute by your girl friends, but it was a whole other level when the apex of both your species complimented you much more a charming one at that!!
Kentarou then activated the feline part of his quirk, causing all of them to be confused as they rarely get called out outside of fusing with Ayako or just using their reflexes as an aspect.
"Afterall I once had the same verbal tick, nya~" Kentarou said, not really intending for his verbal tick to sound seductive. Cyan nearly fainted once her ears picked up such a sound, while the pupils in her eyes nearly turned to hearts at that moment.
"T-this way, nya! I-I will guide you to the president, nya!" Cyan said loudly as she couldn't calm her heart while also nearly tripping over nothing due to it, but thankfully, Kentarou caught her.
"That was close, nya, are you okay?" Kentarou asked while Cyan is still in his arms, causing Cyan's brain to nearly overheat.
"Nyaaa..." Cyan couldn't handle her heart and the blood rushing to her brain anymore. Thus, she passed out.
"It seems I was too late" Maple said as he arrived to see Cyan passed out in Kentarou's arms.
"Maple-san, I can explain" Kentarou said nervously.
"This is my fault for letting you meet Cyan early" Maple said as he remembered the commotion inside the mall when they met, Kentarou might have not seen it but plenty of the teenage girls watching and participating in the auditions had nosebleeds left and right once they saw him, some even passed out but those girls were with their parents so the damage was taken care of easily.
"Amajiki-kun, can you please carry Cyan then place her in her room, I will show you the way" Maple said while Kentarou could only nod and follow Maple.
Once Kentarou arrived at the girlish room he couldn't help but notice the pink heart shaped guitar then glared at it as he felt someone was watching using it.
"Strawberry Heart, why is it sentient?" Kentarou mumbled which surprised Maple who heard it as only Shingancrimsonz, members of Plasmagica, Criticrista, Angela, Grateful King, and him are the only ones who know this.
"What do you mean Amajiki-kun?" Maple asked.
"Stop pretending my quirk can sense all living beings around 100 km of me" Kentarou said with a glare as he didn't like being spyd on, which he didn't like one bit.
"It's Grateful King's quirk" Maple answered, not wanting to risk angering someone like Kentarou.
"So he has the ability to possess objects in order to peep or stalk others, especially underaged girls?" Kentarou asked, which made Maple do a spit take, and Strawberry Heart float up while shaking in defiance.
"I only help Cyan in writing her songs!!!" Grateful King who's conciousness is currently inside Strawberry Heart shouted as the guitar shook from his anger due to being treated as a criminal.
"I was only joking" Kentarou said with a smile, which earned him a huff from the guitar that landed on the ground.
"Oh, he left" Kentarou commented while Maple could only sigh as Grateful King had met his match.
Once that issue was sorted out, he placed Cyan gently to her bed then exited the room with Maple, he wanted to take the guitar so that there won't be any mishaps but decided against it in the end.
"I know you are not IA-chan's big brother as she was living alone in an apartment while being supported by her music sales and her chatmate, which I guess is you, correct? so who are you, really?" Maple interrogated Kentarou as he didn't want to risk the safety of the others since he might accidentally hire a villain or criminal.
"Yes, I am, in fact, that someone. My real name is Kentarou Amajiki, 1-A U.A. hero course student, provisional license holder, The Hero Fenrir though this identity is temporary" Kentarou said truthfully as he felt as if he owed something to BRR since he just pissed off Grateful King.
Meanwhile, Maple didn't expect that he caught a platinum egg instead of a gold one. It made him astonished as well as think that reality is sometimes really unfair.
"How about your quirk? What exactly is it since it has sensory, appearance shape-shifting, and animal shape-shifting?" Maple asked.
"Right, my quirk is called Chimera, it allows me to copy the DNA and become the APEX specimen of any livingbeing or had lived in this planet as long as I touch a part of them, I can even become a mixture of them but I developed my quirk to allow me the freedom of DNA editing so I can change my looks easily" Kentarou truthfully said as he reverted back to his real form.
"Were you planning to debut as IA's brother? I mean, it's completely fine considering your identities and all that" Maple asked.
"Yes, since I don't like anyone disturbing my private life without any good reason" Kentarou answered with honesty as he really hated such a thing when it happened.
"I see then, can you promise to make your own songs whenever you're here?" Maple once again asked, thinking of an appropriate contract since this case was an extremely unique case.
"That is fine by me as I already have plenty written down also these songs are in English, but they can be easily translated to Japanese if you want" Kentarou said as he took out a 5 inch thick stack of papers containing some of the songs he had written that he is sure that IA won't use.
Maple couldn't even say anything, and at this point in time, he felt like he was the one who should be signing contracts like an eager new recruit signing to a major label.
