Prison World
3rd Person:
Chris finally arrived in the cave on the island of Nova Scotia where he was trying to find that dumb rock he was familiar with. One of the main things that lead to all the trouble before he even got to college. The events that got Kol killed, Jeremy killed then Bonnie killed when she brought Jeremy back
After a couple hours searching the island he finally came across the cave, since he couldn't find the Tombstone on the land, it was time to go down. He wondered how he could even be able to get further down since the wall would be closed off
In his large backpack he had all the equipment he needed to get down the massive hole down to the cave
"Okay, let's see how to deal with this" Chris sighed as he thought he would need to find something major to do to get through. He unhooked himself from the latch and looked at the cave walls. There was already an opening? "Well that was easy. Maybe the universe is finally giving me a pass"
He walked down the dark corridor, walls of damp stone and the eccos of his footsteps while using the camera he took everywhere with him in the Prison World to record his journey "I've finally made it guys. Jesus that took forever" He said. Chris hadn't slept properly or even showered in weeks, but finding his way out was more important
Chris walked ahead with his big backpack on his shoulders, a wooly hat and gloves which helped him keep warm on his long trip of driving and trying to work a boat to get to the island "I swear I'm gonna make that bastard pay for what he's done. But for now at least I've made it" He spoke to the camera as he came up to the end of the cave Into an opened up part he knew so well, except there was no stone Silas statue
On the floor laying abandoned was the Tombstone filled with magic which he could use to help get out of this place
"Keeping me here was a big mistake, Malachai" Chris spoke to the camera as he picked up the Tombstone. He then took the stone and shoves it into his bag "You messed with the wrong Bennett, Parker. Just watch me, I'm coming for you"
He was just about to walk away but then realised he forgot to grab this box that layed alone where the stoned statue should've been. He grabbed it and opened the box "Oh, my, God" He whispered "The cure" A small vial of red liquid glowed inside of the box. The cure they originally had got wasted on Katherine when she tried to kill Elena, so Elena force fed her the cure so she wouldn't be killed
He closed the box and put the cure inside of his bag, making sure it was safe "So I've gotten the Tombstone and apparently now a cure to immortality. I'm ready" He spoke as he left the place to begin his long trek back to Mystic Falls in preparation for the next Eclipse so he could escape

Chris made it back to Mystic Falls after a couple days, he arrived back at the Salvatores house in Damons car. He got out and brought all his stuff into the house and set up his camera on some books to level it
"It's day 278 inside this stupid Prison World. I have a broken toe, bruised ankle trying to get out of that cave, 10 blisters and I think a slight ear infection. But I don't care" He picked up the Tombstone "I have chanted the crap out of this dumbass rock, and I finally have my magic back. My own magic" Chris then got a bottle of burbon and held it up "Once that eclipse hits 12:28, I'm going home" He then chugged the bottle "You hear that future Chris, you won't be slightly insane anymore"
A few hours passed and he was ready, stomach full, feeling clean again and camera ready. He walked into the cavern where the eclipse was about to occur "So the time is now. I'm finally ready with no one to stop me this time. I've got magic" He pulled the Ascendant out and shown the camera "I then found this with my magic, and the eclipse coming. Let's go home"
Suddenly the ground started to shake and the cave walls shifted and it went pitch black with snow falling from the sky. Chris looked up and could see all the blinking stars in the night sky as snow got onto his hair and clothes "No, oh come on, no!" He shouted
He quickly climbed his way out of the cave and everything looked different, the landscape was the Mystic Falls forest but all the trees moved. The ground was covered with snow which shouldn't be their for May 10th 1994
"Okay, so I'm guessing it's not May anymore and I'm in some other hell dimension, except with snow. Either that or your brain has finally snapped" Chris shook his head, he's talking to himself so it's probably that. While walking he came across a set of footprints leading somewhere, the sky around him changed colour, green mixed with blue and purple. They looked like the Northen lights, but here in Mystic Falls
"I'm so bamboozled right now" He followed the prints and came across this big white house in the middle of nowhere. He decided to go there, if theirs people they could help. Possibly....
Chris waved one of his hands to light all the candles that he spotted on the walls, he walked around the living room and he saw it was all old fashioned. No electricity, fire lamps with candles
On a table he saw a diary that was open, he read it and saw it was talking about the lights 'Aurora Borealis', 'Northern Lights', 'Reacuting Celestial Event' He read the delecate handwriting that covered the pages
He flicked to the first page to see the date 'November 1st, 1903' "What...." He whispered confusingly
He walked around to try and find more, he recorded the place as if he was on some ghost hunting TV show. He saw a tiny picture frame on one of the tables and picked it up to see Damon in some outfit and Stefan on the other side "Oh, my, God"
The world started to shake and crumble again, Chris looked at his watch and saw that the eclipse should be happening soon. He ran out of the house and ended back up in the forest, but it was clear of snow, 1994 again
He looked up at the sky and saw the eclipse "No!" He ran as fast as he could, sprinting through the forest as the world kept shifting between 1903 and 1994
Eventually he got to the cave "Okay let's do this. Northern light, the eclipse, they're both recurring events. They can get me out"
He pulled out the Ascendant from his pocket and cut himself on it to drip blood on it "Come on hurry" He then started to chant the spell that would get him out, the Ascendant turned as the white light opened up above him
"Who are you?" A voice infront of him spoke
Chris looked at the woman "Who are you?" He spoke, but it was too late for an answer as he got lifted up into the white light and left her behind

Salvatore House:
After the funeral of Elizabeth Forbes and a depressing trip to the Mystic Grill, Damon walked into the kitchen "Where'd you go Elena? Call me back" He ended to voicemail he left for her and looked up and saw pancakes on the kitchen side
He looked up and saw a guy standing there, Chris turned around to see Damon standing before him "Chris?" He whispered as he couldn't believe what he was seeing
"The one and only" He spoke as he began to laugh, Damon sighed with disbelief and opened his arms out to him. Chris ran at him and jumped into his arms which Damon grabbed him and laughed joyfully
"Oh, you made it" He said as they both gave one another death gripping hugs "Does Bonnie know?"
"Not yet" Chris shook his head
"You came to me before your sister?" He asked in confusion
"Yes, I'll go and see her in a few. I just had something I need to show you first, something I don't understand"
After the greeting Chris needed to show him something. Damon sat on the kitchen table holding a picture of him and Stefan as humans "So let me get this straight. You were in my house in a 1903 Prison World?" He questioned, trying to understand what Chris was telling him
Chris messed through his camera trying to find a video "Look at this" He found it "The camera was accidentally still on when I got pulled out. Watch this"
He shown Damon the video of the eclipse cave "Great walls. You should go work with David Attenborough" He joked not knowing why he was showing him this useless video
"Just shut up and watch this" Chris demanded
"Who are you?" The woman on the video said
"Who are you?" Video Chris said
Damons eyebrows fell down once he spotted something, he saw the woman and took the camera from Chris "There stop" Chris pressed the pause button on the face of the woman
"Oh, my God" Damon said
"What?" Chris asked
"That's....that's my mother"

After that Chris decided to go to Whitmore since Damon was in a little spiral at the moment and went to open his mothers coffin up
He stood outside his dorm and could hear Elena and Bonnie speaking in worrying and panicked tones. Elena was also on the phone arguing with Stefan "We really need to find her" Bonnie said to Elena
Chris then opened the door "Looks like you could use some help"
Bonnie and Elena looked at eachother in shock "Oh, my god. Chris" Bonnie stuttered not knowing how to process this. Chris laughed at her "Your here....how are you-"
"Alive? Because nothing can kill me" He interupted and took both of them in his arms for a massive hug "I missed you all"
"I can't believe this" Bonnie cried as she gripped onto him
"Well believe it sis. Because I, Chris, stand before thee" He chuckled
Elena ran to the fridge and got some champagne as Chris searched through his draws of stuff "Ooo my t-shirts, all my stuff I've missed you. Omg my Doctor Who shirt" He said pulling it out
Elena from behind him opened the champagne bottle with a very loud pop. This made Chris jump a little at the noise and hold onto the draw in panic while shaking a little, he then took a deep breath and hoped the other two didn't see "Chris are you okay?" Bonnie said behind him
"....I'm fine, Bon" He said without turning to look at ger
"But-"
"I said I'm fine!!" He shouted and took a deep breath "When did u get that?" He pointed at the champagne to switch the subject quickly
Bonnie then poured him a glass while looking at him worryingly "Well, I brought this for us when I though we we're originally going to rescue you. But since we didn't, it's just been sitting here. So here" She handed it to him when he finally came over to them
Elena held her glass in the middle "This is to you. Stuck there all by yourself while we were here living our lives and...." She saw the look on Chris' face as she spoke "Yeah this is the worst toast ever"
"Just clink the drinks and stop talking. I'm back and that's all I care about" Chris rushed them and they clinked their glasses
Chris downed his in one while Elena and Bonnie struggled to keep up "Wow..." They said and poured him another glass
"So what are we going to do now?" Chris asked while sitting on his bed
"You already want to do stuff? I thought you would want to settle first" Bonnie asked
"Being alone for that long and then coming back to life was very complicated. Plus we have a roomate with a serious need for an intervention" He said as he chugged his glass again
Bonnie and Elena looked at one another, they thought something was wrong, besides the obvious effects it could've probably had on Chris. He just didn't seem himself
The door opened and Caroline waltzed in without a care and a bunch of shopping bags "Caroline? Your here?" Elena said
Caroline walked straight past her, Bonnie and Chris "And your perceptive"
"What are you doing?" Bonnie asked her
"I'm starting over. New everything. New sheets. New clothes. Hey, I even got us a new blow dryer" She took it out the bag to show them "Oh, hey Chris. Your back. I thought you were trapped in 1994?" She said as if it was nothing
He smiled at her "Well, I escaped" Caroline said nothing and just hummed while nodding. Chris rolled his eyes at her
"We've been worried about you Care" Elena told her
"You mean you were worried about those around me. Like, if I killed them? Okay, funny story. You remember Liam?" Caroline then turned to Chris to explain "Oh, Elena dated this pre-med hottie, but then she realised she still had feelings for Damon. So she compelled him to forget they had a thing"
"What did you do to Liam?" Elena demanded
Caroline chuckled "I ate him. And he was delicious. You know how cute guys just naturally taste better?"
"You ate Elenas ex?" Chris gasped
"Can I tell my story!" She shouted at them "Remind me why we're glad he's back?" Chris scoffed at her for this "So I was feeling and the voice in my head that usually tells me to stop. Never piped up. But he got blood over my necklace so I got moody and chose not to kill him"
"So you didn't kill him because it would be inconvenient for you?" Elena questioned
"Elena! I shut off my humanity. I didn't turn into an idiot" She stole their champagne bottle and started to drank it all
"Weird. Your Caroline, but your also not" Chris said
Caroline rolled her eyes at him "Oh, Chris. How we all just missed your stupid opinions. Anyway, in return for my good behaviour, I want a year with no pain, greif or remorse. You will not lock me up, or dry me out. And definitely don't try and trigger some latent emotion to try and snap my humanity back on"
"So if we leave you alone, you won't kill anyone?" Elena asked her
Caroline nodded at them "Granted if you try to flip my switch back on. I'll become your worse nightmare. Great, I'm gonna get a latte" She grabbed her purse and walked out "See ya"
"You couldn't have dealt with this before I got back?" Chris sighed to them

Salvatore House:
Damon heard from Stefan that Caroline was out and and about in the town without her humanity "Check around Mystic Falls, to see if anyone is missing" Stefan asked over the phone
"Will do, brother" He then ended the call "Just not right now" He turned around to see Kai messing with his burbon, pouring himself a glass
"Ooo yeah. Why tell your brother your mother's still alive?" He said sarcastically "But I get it. Mom's in a Prison World and therefore an evil psychopath" He went over to the couch and jumped on it "Don't wanna ruin little bros perfect mommy memory"
"I'll tell him once I know the truth" Damon informed him "Which is why your still here. Your sister sent me, Bon and Elena back to 1994. So you can send me back to 1903" He asked
Kai hummed at him "Technically, yes I am able to do that" He crossed his legs putting them up on Damons coffee table "But I'll need the Ascendant for the 1903 Prison World" He said as if it was a problem
"Well, as newly elected president of the Gemini freaks, I assume you know where to get it?" Kai tilted his head at Damon "So go and get it"
"My pleasure" Kai smirked while purposely slurping his drink loudly, not moving anywhere
"You want something. Shocker" Damon huffed and groaned "Fine, what?"
Kai smiled at this and sat up "Well, ever since you told me that Chris was back, I can't stop thinking about him. What I did to him. How he is" He then sighed "Look. I want to see him. I need to apologise. And your gonna make that happen. Because these feelings I have are very hard to register right now. I need them out"
Damon squinted his eyes at him, he would want to do that but he didn't know how Chris would react to this. He knew it was going to be a problem
