"Sound Ninja?!" The Third Hokage surveyed around him. The Sound Four Ninjas began with their Four Flames Formation, creating a barrier to allow them to fight without interruption. One of the Anbu chasing after them touches the barrier and dies
With the invasion's start, Lord Kazekage takes the Third Hokage hostage.
"Lord Kazekage...Barrier Jutsu huh?" The Third Hokage gritted.

"To think they outwit the anbu," Kakashi muttered.
Suddenly a Anbu lands in front of them.
"What are you doing here, the Hokage is in danger!" Guy shouted.
He begins doing hand signs and a group of Sound Ninja jump to his side.
"What a nuisance," Kakashi sighed.
"To think that the enemy is as masquerading as our Anbu...So it was also that guy who used Genjustsu!" Guy says.
Y/n stood beside Kakashi, trying to comprehend what was going on and why the left village was attacked.
"Yeah...there's no mistake."

"I didn't expect that...Sand Village would betray the Leaf Village," The Third Hokage says.
"The treaty is simply a camouflage to make sure the enemy let down their guard," he smirked. "The petty little battle game ends now. From this point on, the course of history will change!"
"Are you saying that you're starting a war?"
"That's right."
"One should avoid resolution through armed force and should rather seek a solution through negotiations. There's still time...Lord Kazekage!"
"You see negotiations have gotten you soft Lord Hokage," he laughed. "Perhaps one gets addicted to peace as one grows older...Sarutobi Sensei!"
The Third Hokage eyes widened and realization dawned his face. "You're..."

Meanwhile, Sand shinobi summon the snake and it breaks through the wall. Then invading Otogakure and Suna ninja infiltrate Konoha, and battles begin breaking out across the village.
"What's going on?" Sasuke could feel the rumble in the distance.
"Stop it, Gaara!"'Temari cried, catching Sasuke's attention.
"I'll kill him!" He growled.
"There's no meaning to continue this fight!" Kankuro protest.
"Don't forget our mission!" Temari added. Y/n jumped in front of Sasuke and few feet from them.
"Don't tell me your the cause of all this!?" Y/n gritted.
"Is that Y/n? Out of my way!" Gaara pushed Kankuro.
Baki arrival intervened between Y/n and Gaara, stopping both of them from attacking.
"What are you guys doing!" He yelled. "The operation is already underway!"
"Operation?" Y/n and Sasuke muttered.
Gaara began having another headache as he started screeching in pain.
"I'll kill you all..." Y/n gritted.
"Stop," Hayate appeared, grabbing Y/n fist.
"What in the world is going on!" Sasuke questioned.
Gaara collasped to the ground in agony, gripping his head in pain.
"Gaara! His wound is deeper than I thought!"
Temari bend over to his wound. "And moreover her his Chakra is pretty drained."
"In that case, what about using that thing!" Kankuro insisted.
"That's impossible to do right away!" Temari dismissed the idea.
"Idiot! It's all because you didn't wait for the signal and tried to become the Perfect Possession," Baki grumbled.
"What should we do?" Kankuro asked. "Are you saying we do this without Gaara?"
"Gaara is Sand's trump card. We have to get Gaara to do his work, no matter what!" Baki answered. "You guys leave for the moment and tend to his wounds," he ordered.
"Got it!," Kankuro and Temari carry Gaara from the village so that he can recover.
"Do you think things will go according to your plans," Hayate says.
"I'll make them so..." Baki stated.
"Is Orochimaru the host of this party?" Hayate asked.
"Orochimaru...?" Y/n says and immediately seen Sasuke's face expression.
"Dunno...In any case, let's heat this thing up."
"Sasuke...sorry but the Chunin Exam ends here. You've already achieved Chunin level. If you're a Leaf Shinobi be service to the leaf!" Hayate ordered.
"In other words, I'm suppose to take down that jerk Gaara, right?" Sasuke says.
"From here on, it's no longer an exam. It's the real thing!"
"On it," he smirked.
"I'm coming too," Y/n says. "Don't give me a hard time on it either I'm just as strong as you ya know."
"Y/n..." He glanced over. "You better not make me regret this," Hayate sighed.
"Oh hush, I got this," she have a thumbs up.
Sasuke scoffed, "Fine, try to keep up then!"
"No problem," she smirked.
Y/n and Sasuke pursues them, eager to finish the battle.
"Sasuke and Y/n?" Kakashi watched them head off over the walls. "You guys better be okay."
Above the Hokage is still being held hostage, struggling with understanding why would they turn on the leaf village.
"So Leaf Village and...Sasuke were the target, huh?"
"Is the Leaf such a big catch? More importantly, if Gaara wakes up, I'll be able to show you something much more interesting."
He placed the Kunai underneath the Hokage neck. "Well anyways, Your thick-headedness has caused the Leaf to be outmaneuvered. It's my win."
"Nothing is decided until the very end. I believe that's what I taught you..." Lord Hokage smirked.
Suddenly the Kazekage began peeling his skin off, revealing his very pale skin, golden eyes and his fang teeth, his snake-like appearance gave it away.
"Orochimaru..." The Third Hokage gritted. "I thought this day would eventually arrive, however...you won't get my head that easily!"
"I told you, didn't I? It is preferable to decide the Fifth Hokage quickly...because you will die here, Third Hokage." He licked the blade of the Kunai with a malicious smile.

"We were careless...and now they have—wait Kakashi look inside the barrier closely."
"Huh—Orochimaru?!" They says.
"Don't tell me that guy is still after Sasuke,"
Sakura says. "Sasuke!" She looked over to see him not in the arena.
Suddenly two Sound Ninja appeared to attack her but was easily taken down my Kakashi.
Kakashi smiled, "Oh Sakura, stay here for a
while I'm going to reduce the number of enemies."

The Third Hokage notice tears forming in Orochimaru's eyes.
"Are you so happy, you're crying? Or do you have an iota of sadness in your heart to kill me, your teacher?" He questioned.
The corners of his mouth turned up, "No..." he lifted the Kunai piercing it into the skin.
Blood drip from the blade, tapping the roof they stood upon. Shocking, Orochimaru had stabbed himself in hand.
"Since earlier on, I was feeling so sleepy," he yawned. "But I'm finally awake."
"That's what I thought," The Hokage smirked.
Orochimaru let go of him and walked off.
"I know you aren't the type to hold a grudge. You have neither a goal or motive."
"Hmm...I guess...I do kind of have a goal of some sort. If I were to explain it...it's interesting to watch things that move" he removed the kunai from his palm. "I get pleasure if something doesn't move. Like a windmill that doesn't turn...Well, it may have some kind of appeal once In a while. But usually, it's not worth looking at it. Right now...this wind is called, "Destroy the Leaf Village," I want to turn that windmill.
"You're the same as always..." The Hokage sighed.
Preoccupied with fending off the invading forces, Kakashi instructs Sakura, who had managed to repel the sleeping-inducing genjutsu, to wake Naruto and Shikamaru.
"Naruto would be delighted. He'll be getting a mission after such a long time."
"What do you mean mission?" Sakura questioned.
"Be careful...it's the first A-rank mission since the Land of the Waves."
