Secrets Uncovered (Highschool!Tom)

"C'mon Tom! Just ask her out already!" Tom's friend Robert said, pointing at Chloe(sorry if that's your name) but Tom shook his head.

"I already told you, I'm not gonna ask her out," Tom sighed, closing his locker and leaning against it. His friends and basically the whole student body wanted him and Chloe to be a couple. He looked in disgust at the head cheerleader as she and her little gang of sluts walked down the hallway towards them.

"Hey, Tommy. When's the big game?" She asked Tom and he rolled his eyes, annoyed by the nickname she'd given him.

"You already know when it is, you're a cheerleader for fucks sake" He snapped and Chloe looked taken back. Everyone around them ooohed but Tom ignored them. 

"Why are you always around here anyway? Don't you have other people to annoy?" Tom said, the aggravation in his voice hard to hide. 

 The bell rang before Chloe could say anything back to him. The hallway quickly emptied of students and Tom's friends started to walk to their class. He was about to follow them when something, or someone, at the end of the hallway caught his eyes.

Tom smiled as he made eye contact with Y/n. She was standing with her small group of friends. She stared back at him, a small blush on her face as one of her friends had to drag her to their next class.

Tom stumbled into the empty classroom, his lips never leaving Y.n's. He started to take his shirt off but she stopped him.

"Tommy, I can't today. I have to tutor in 10 minutes!" She said but he shook his head.

"That can wait, baby," He said, kissing her again.

"Tommm," Y/n whined as he managed to unbutton her shirt. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in close, making him unable to do anything else. "Tonight. My parents are out of town. Come to my house around eight," She whispered looking into his eyes and he nodded. She pulled away and buttoned her shirt back up, giving a disappointed Tom a quick kiss before walking out of the classroom.

The next day(sorry, you can basically guess what happened that night so I'll just leave it up to your imaginations) Tom sat in biology, counting the minutes until he could see Y/n. His leg bounced up and down, annoying his best friend Haz who on multiple occasions, gave him a death look.

"Mate, I get it you want to see her, just stop being so loud!" Haz whispered and Tom looked over at him.

"She said that she wanted to talk to me about something," Tom said, his voice shaking.

"About what?" Haz asked.

"I don't know, but your experience when have the words 'we need to talk' ever been good?" He asked and Haz shrugged.

"Just stop moving your leg, alright? You'll be fine," Tom stopped bouncing his leg and looked at the clock again. 1:55. 50 minutes until he could see her. He could make it that long couldn't he?

At the end of the day, Tom stood outside of the school, waiting for Y/n. As she walked up to him, he noticed that almost everyone stared at them, this was the first time they'd ever been seen together on campus.

"Hey, what'd you want to talk about?" He asked and Y/n sighed. Y/n sighed.

"I know that rumours can't always be trusted, but lately, there's been talk that you're planning on asking Chloe out and-"

"Wait Wait Wait, baby you think I'm going to ask the spoiled rich brat out?" Tom asked, slightly hurt that she would even think that.

"Well everyone's been saying it and it would make sense I guess. You're on the football team and she's a cheerleader," Y/n said, her voice shaking, her eyes watering as Tom shook his head.

"Y/n I know we've never really talked about labels yet but being with you these past few months, I've never felt happier and I want to be with you. Do you know how amazing I think you are, I respect you so much and to me, you have no flaws. Why would I ruin what we have? I love you Y/n," Tom said and saw her blush, he felt butterflies in his stomach as he looked at her.

"I love you too," She said, smiling and Tom took a step forward, leaning down, he kissed her. There were multiple gasps from everyone around them as he wrapped his arms around her waist and her arms around his neck.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Tom asked, pulling out of the kiss.

"Yes of course!" Y/n said, laughing and the new couple made their way hand and hand, heart in heart(is that too weird??) to their first official date.
