Tom immediately regretted saying yes to his best mate. Harrison was always fun to hang out with, but when it came to shopping for clothes for the blonde brit...lets just say it could take a while.

Tom had been sitting in the same spot for about two hours now while Haz came out of the dressing room yet again with the same outfit.

"I just don't know how I feel about it," The blonde complained.

"Then don't get it," Tom whined leaning his head back against the plush couch that he had taken residency on.

"But Grace really likes these kinds of clothes and I wanted to impress her for our date tonight," Haz did a full 360 in the mirror, "What if I get it without the jacket?"

"That would work! So are you decided?" Tom asked, starting to get up but when Haz shook his head no, he let out a groan.

"I still need to pick out clothes for our lunch date tomorrow," He said, hurrying back inside the dressing room.

Tom let out a quiet plea for help, pulling his phone out of his pocket and going to snapchat. He hadn't really wanted to get the social media app, but a friend convinced him to get it a few weeks ago.

He scrolled through the stories, seeing nonsense about "famous" influencers and the latest celebrity gossip that he hoped he would never see his face in.

A new trend caught his eyes, it was of a boy and girl, he assumed they were dating, the boy had her clasp her hands together and but one side of her fingers up, before interlocking them with his own and pulling her arms above her head. The girl blushed hard as he leaned in to give her a quick peck on the lips.

Tom smiled, the girl reminded him a lot of Y/n, h/c hair, y/h, and a smile that was infectious.

We could do that. Tom thought, quickly checking life360 to see if his girlfriend was still at their shared flat.

The circle with her picture showed green and Tom stood up quickly.

"Yeah Haz I'm gonna go, send me a pic later with what you picked out," Tom shouted making his way across the room.

"Wait what? Tom! I still need your help! I don't know-" But Tom was already out of the room before Haz could finish his sentence.

Thankfully, Tom and Y/n's flat wasn't far from the store that Harrison had chosen to shop at and Tom could make it home quickly. He'd chosen to take an uber so that he wouldn't leave Haz stranded at the store, he knew his friend would return his expensive car another time.

Y/n's car was parked in the two car driveway as the uber stopped in front of the house. Tom jumped out of the car and pulled out his keys.

The house was warm inside, a drastic difference from the cold and muggy Kingston air. The smell of cookies floated through the air and Tom heard music playing over the loudspeaker.

"Y/n?" He shouted slightly, not wanting to scare her.

"Tom?" Y/n called back her voice muffled, looking out the door to the kitchen, she was holding a cookie in both of her hands, one stuffed in her mouth as well. "I didn't expect you to be back for another few hours," She said as Tom walked into the kitchen.

"I had to get away from Haz. I love the guy but he isn't the best person to shop with," Tom jumped up on the counter next to the cookies, taking on from the plate it was cooling on. He looked around the kitchen, bowls of flower and cookie mix were laying dirty in the sink, spoons, spatulas, mixers and other cooking utensils lay scattered around.

"I see you've been busy," He joked and Y/n shrugged.

"I've never made cookies from scratch before," Tom nodded, taking a bit of the cookie in his hand. He winced as strong almond flavors hit his mouth.

"I can tell," Before Y/n could react he continued, "I was looking through snapchat today and I saw a trend I want to try with you," He said and Y/n nodded, still slightly salty about his cookie remarke.

"What is it?" She asked, setting the cookies in her hands on the plate as Tom got down from the counter.

"I can't tell you, you'll just have to go along with it," Y/n raised her eyebrow to her boyfriend but nevertheless, followed him as he led her over to an empty wall that they hadn't hung anything on just yet.

"Ok so you're gonna want to clasp your hands together like this," Tom demonstrated and Y/n followed suit. "Good, then lift your right-hand fingers," Tom said and Y/n did as told. He immediately interlocked their fingers and pulled her arms above her head against pushed his hips against hers. His hands went to her waist as she started to giggle.

"Tom!" She blushed as he left little kisses all over her face.

"What'd you think of that?" He asked, a slight smirk on his face as she leaned back against the wall, pulling him with her.

"I think for someone who doesn't like snapchat you've been looking at it an awful lot," She giggled and Tom couldn't help but laugh along with her.

"I think you're right," He leaned his forehead against hers, taking in the sweet moment.

Sweet. Like cookies, but not the ones Y/n made.

"How about we work on your cooking skills now."
