chapter 57

You know the best part about writing without a plan is anticipating updates just as much as you are. I don't know what's happening next i just write and see what comes to mind.

It takes me forever to update because I have like 15 drafts for one chapter the first few are horrible but I need to get through my bad ideas to get to the good ones.

Now to the Story:

"How?" Ah ro looked at the boy beside her bewildered. "What is happening?"

She stared at the boy who she thought she saw die right beside her, protecting her.

"Minghao." She was cut off when he abruptly pulled her into another alley.

"I don't have time to explain fully. Jisung is going to break free and find us soon." Ah ro took in his disheveled appearance. His arm was in a sling and he still had scars on his face. He was wearing all black and his hood was up as if he was in hiding.

She turned to the side when she heard footsteps. A couple members of SVN appeared. Ah ro's eyes widened. Sure Minghao saved her that day, but he was also one of the reasons she was in that building in the first place. She was supposed to die that day. Did he regret saving her and was no here to get revenge. He was a member of the rival gang anyway.

She gulped nervously, stepping back. Minghao sighed, he grabbed Ah ro's forearm and turned them so that she was against the wall and he was leaning over her.

"I'm not here to hurt you Ah ro." Minghao looked around making sure it was safe to talk. "There is something you need to know. SVN is no longer a threat to you. We will protect you, but the higher ups want to take down NCT."

"Why do you need to protect me? Why do you need to hurt NCT?"

"You're not an orphan Ah ro." Ah ro's eyes widened. She didn't completely register what was being said to her after that. She felt her mind go into a slump.

All she heard was "revenge" "kill" "NCT" "help" "escape."

"MINGHAO! I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU." Their heads snapped to the side. Jisung was found at the entrance of the alley. His hands covered in blood from where he cut himself, his chest fell unevenly as he took hurried breaths. His rage unimaginable.

Jun gave Minghao a nod, and Minghao grabbed Ah ro again with his good arm and began running as Jisung raced towards them only to be held back by Jun and the other members.

Ah ro looked back with a pained look catching Jisung's gaze. She didn't want him to get hurt.

"Let go. LET GO!" She screamed. Jisung struggled as he was outnumbered. As soon as he managed to loosen their grips, he threw punches. Dodging blows, but his eyes remained on Ah ro the whole time. She cried as she tried to escape Minghao's grip.

"Ah ro you need to calm down and listen to me." Minghao grabbed her face, dipping low so that their faces were mere inches apart. "Listen."

"SVN is going to attack NCT tonight. They'll kill anyone and everyone, except you. You need to get them out of the house. I'll come find you later."

"Why? Why are you telling me this?" Ah ro whispered.

"Because I don't want to lose you."

Minghao stared down into her eyes. It was true. He likes, no loves her. And he knew that if she lost NCT, she would die without really being dead.

Jisung had managed to knock out everyone except Jun. He took him on head on.

The only thought in his head was war.

There's a lot of explaining to do in the next few chapters. Stay tuned babes.
